I always found Aerie's compliments to Jaheira interesting. Of course, being the sick person I am, I construed them as vaguely romantic. Elves, technically, aren't supposed to have gender preferences when it comes to romantic partners, so I took the human label of "lesbian" to be something strange to an elf.
