A/N: Let's get a few things out of the way before we can begin.
1. If you don't know by the summary, Part 6 does not exist in this universe, the only original character from Stone Ocean present in this story is Jolyne. So Dio never had a diary and whatnot.
2. I know that there are many returning characters from part 3, especially part 4, but this story isn't really about them. You'll see in future chapters that this story will really be about my own original characters and their own Stands, (I've made 20+ original Stands for this fanfiction).
3. This will be updated every Friday with no exceptions. Doesn't matter if it's a holiday or not. So expect a new chapter every Friday without any breaks until the story is finished. If I don't post on a Friday, then assume I'm dead. Or my internet's down. You choose.
4. Lastly, there is a bit of cursing in this fanfiction, but there will be no slurs or f words. Enough rambling, enjoy and feel free to comment, I will respond to all the comments I can, so feel free to ask questions.

Episode 47: One More Red Nightmare Part 3
"Jolyne! Watch out!" Jotaro warned his daughter as the burning tree fell down with incredible gravitational force.
"You've gotta stop treating me like a defenseless child," Jolyne murmured as the tree falling toward her split apart into cubes.
"I created an extra cubed web above me. I reinforced and tightened my strings so they won't break apart. That tree hit the web and broke apart."
"I see," Jotaro said as he looked back at Dianne, "You can't change your Stand ability without returning our gravity back to normal. Your attacks won't work."
"You're too slow to act," Jolyne said, shaking her head, "And you think your Stand is so fast?" Jolyne had already undone the net above her and loosened the net below her. She used the net to slingshot herself right at Dianne.
"What the hell?!" Dianne looked in bewilderment as the young Joestar girl seemed to fly at her.
"I always hate it when you guys underestimate me!"
"Damn it!" Dianne jumped back as Above Earth turned into red mist before forming into Star Platinum.
"I'll take the risk!" she yelled, "I'll take the gamble! You're at fault for coming at me, Jolyne! Now you die! Star Platinum: The World!"
Time had stopped, and only Dianne and Jotaro had consciousness in this world. Since Above Earth had been replaced by Star Platinum, its ability had been undone and everyone's gravity had been turned back to normal.
I can only move for up to three seconds, Dianne thought, I haven't perfected Star Platinum as much as Jotaro has. Regardless, he's too far away, he'll never make it in time!
Star Platinum raised its arm, ready to punch a hole through Jolyne as Jotaro rushed over to Dianne. But the distance was far too great, he would never make it to Dianne in time. Regardless, fearing for Jolyne's life, he rushed over anyway.
One second had passed.
"Die!" Dianne yelled out as Star Platinum, like a bullet, slammed its fist into Jolyne as blood poured out before slowing down and stopping altogether in the stopped time.
"Jolyne!" Jotaro ran as fast as he could.
Two seconds had passed.
"What the hell…?" Dianne couldn't believe what had happened, "You can't be serious… she thought this far in advance… her movements are insane…"
Jolyne had kept a tight-formed web of condensed strings in front of her. When Dianne's Star Platinum had punched it, its fist split apart as it collided with the web. The damage of Star Platinum's mangled fist carried over to Dianne as she began to find it hard to move.
Three seconds had passed.
"Jolyne… Incredible…" Jotaro realized what had happened as he kept rushing over. The blood that had poured out had been from Dianne's fist as it had split apart through Jolyne's web. He knew he couldn't make it to Dianne within the next two seconds, but ran regardless, leaving a frozen Hozier along with Tenmei. He had to make it to Jolyne as fast as possible.
Four seconds had passed.
Damn it! Dianne couldn't move at all in the stopped time, but her eyes could still see and her brain could still think, I can't believe something like this would actually happen…! My fist split apart just like that, how strong are those strings?! Jotaro will be right next to me within one or two seconds of time resuming, can I think that fast? What Stand do I use to get out of this situation?! Sweet Little Rock's shield isn't meant to stop attacks coming from two people! Damn it all! Think, think, think!
Five seconds had passed, and Jotaro was within ten meters of Dianne.
"That's my limit. Time will resume."
The second time began to resume, Jolyne continued her trajectory toward Dianne until she began her attack, "Ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora!"
Within two seconds, Jotaro followed suit, punching as hard as he could with his Stand, "Ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora!"
"Ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora!"
"Ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora!"
The two punched Dianne relentlessly with all their might, hoping to settle everything now.
"It's all for naught!" Dianne yelled out, her sliced fist bleeding freely now that time had resumed. Before Jotaro and Jolyne had begun their ora ora barrage, Red Nightmare had already transformed into Redbone. The red Stand had made its way in front of Dianne and absorbed the kinetic energy from the Jotaro's and Jolyne's flurry of punches.
"Jolyne! Get back!"
"My turn!" Dianne yelled out. Jotaro and Jolyne jumped back, out of Redbone's range. But this didn't hinder Dianne in the slightest. The red Stand opted to slam its fist on the ground, cracking it apart and sending tremors throughout the burning forest.
"Shit, everything's gonna collapse!" Jotaro yelled. The resulting tremors uprooted trees and sent them falling down, one after another. The entire burning forest began to crumble apart, crushing anything inside of it under wood and fire.
Joanne and Kenna were sent falling in an opposite direction from Jotaro and the others, gliding horizontally through the burning forest.
"Abstract! We're gonna hit these trees!"
"Not on my watch, Jo!"
Abstract extended her left hand and liquified any trees within their path. Kenna and Joanne were doused in liquid trees, but that was nothing compared to what would've happened if they actually hit the trees. Within the next few seconds, the two had exited Above Earth's range and their gravity switched to normal as they painfully fell on the grass.
The two scraped several parts of their bodies open as they harshly rolled around on their crash-landing.
Joanne kept her eyes closed, wincing from the several open wounds on her body, "Well… that could've gone worse…"
"J-Jojo…"
"What is it?" Joanne opened her eyes before immediately blushing. While the two had been falling, she had clutched onto Kenna and was still clinging onto her after they came to a stop. "Ah! Sorry!" She quickly got off of her girlfriend and looked back behind her.
"We're out of the forest…"
"Hold on Jojo, let me heal us first," Kenna grabbed Joanne's hand and ushered her toward Redbone.
"Alright…" Joanne took her eyes off the forest as she turned around to face the red Stand. She was about to get in its chest before something caught her peripheral vision.
"Ken! Someone's here!"
Kenna faced where Joanne had pointed. She saw the ruins of the mansion, but nothing seemed to be suspicious.
"Who did you see? Was it Dianne?"
"I don't think so…"
The two sneakily walked toward the ruins, their Stands following close behind. They snuck through the debris and shattered stone before finding Greta, hiding within the ruins.
"Kenna…"
"Greta!" Kenna yelled out as Redbone grabbed the woman by the collar of her shirt and lifted her up, "You try anything and you're dead!"
"Have I really treated you so poorly to receive such cruel treatment from you, Kenna?" Greta strained as she was lifted off the ground by Kenna's Stand.
"Shut up!" Joanne said, "Last I checked, you were working with Dianne. That bitch is hellbent on killing me and my family!"
"She has her reasons…" Greta trailed off, "She's seen the history of the Joestars. If they continue to live on, there will be more strife. And innocent people will be caught in the crossfire."
"Damn it all!" Joanne yelled, "Are you shitting me?! I didn't do anything to you! I didn't even know any of you! You're the ones who've sent Stand user after Stand user! Innocent people have died because of your actions! Your loyal Stand users have died because of you! My friends have died because of you! It's all your damn fault!"
"I understand how you feel. But this is the only way."
"Ken, kill her."
"What?"
"Kill her, Ken."
"I can't do that."
"Abstract!"
"I'll kill the bitch, Jo, don't worry!"
"Stop!"
As Abstract got ready to punch Greta, Kenna dropped her to the ground and had Redbone block Abstract's punch.
"Ken! Why are you saving her?!"
"This isn't how we should do it, Jojo…" Kenna looked at Greta, anger in her eyes, "Don't get me wrong, Jojo, I agree with you on everything except for the fact that we should kill her. I once considered her someone close enough to be my mother. But she's tried to take the most important thing away from me. And that's you, Jojo."
"Kenna…"
"Ken…"
Both Greta and Joanne said her name, sympathy in their voices, but for different reasons. Greta was glad that she had acted as a proper mother figure for Kenna, and Joanne was surprised to hear that she was the most important thing to Kenna.
"But I can't let her die," Kenna said, "Not after I've lived with her for three years. Greta, in the end, you mean well. But you need to understand that everything that Dianne is doing is getting out of hand. She's no different than The Wall. Let's stop this. Let's stop her."
Greta shook her head, "I can't. And it's not just because I love her. I may be able to talk her out of this… but if I do that, then the lives of those working for me, the lives of your friends, what were they sacrificed for? A cause that was simply stopped before it could all be fulfilled? I can't let those deaths be for nothing… Karmiel, Sebastian, Bono… I can't let their deaths be for nothing. Khan, Miller, Cliff, Dodson… I can't let their sacrifices be in vain. Not even Scallion and Stevana whom I wasn't very fond of, or Stue and Jon, who were planning on betraying us. I can't let their deaths be for nothing. Think about your friends, Polnareff and Hol Horse… Portobello and June and Ally… I can't let it all be for nothing. I've lost so many people, and I can't let their deaths be for nothing. We can't stop this now. It's too late. We need to do this for everyone who's died."
"Bullshit!" Joann yelled, "You're just looking for excuses at this point, trying to justify your actions! Everyone who died, died doing what they thought was right. Changing your ideals now doesn't lessen the resolve that they had when they died. Their deaths weren't for nothing. They died fighting for what they believed. Nothing you do now can change that!"
"Jojo… I don't think she'll listen…"
Greta sighed, "I just wanna live happily with Dianne… I want you to be safe too, Kenna. But everything's too far gone. After everything, we can't take what we've done back."
"Get over yourself," Joanne shook her head, "You're upset that you can't take back the lives that have been lost. I'm upset too. But if you continue, it'll only result in more lives being lost. The only way to ensure that fewer people end up dying is to stop now."
Joanne offered her hand to Greta, "To be frank, I'm scared that Dianne's going to kill the others. Binns is already dead…" Joanne paused for a second as she exhaled, "But no more. I don't want anyone else to die. Let's end this here."
"I…" Greta was hesitant as she looked at Joanne's hand. After looking at Kenna's pleading face, she sighed, "Fine… But I'm only doing this for Dianne's and Kenna's sakes." she grabbed Joanne's hand, "I'll try to reason with Dianne, alright?"
A loud cracking sound could be heard as trees were sent flying, and holes erupted from the ground, getting closer to Joanne, Kenna, and Greta.
"Watch out!" Instinctively, Greta pushed Joanne onto Kenna, sending them both to the ground before dense air bullets blasted several holes through her chest.
As the trees collapsed, Jotaro stopped time to push himself and the others out of danger.
"What's going on?" Hozier said in a shaky voice as the entire forest began to crumble.
"Take care of Kakyoin," Jotaro pointed at Tenmei, who still had yet to regain consciousness, "Jolyne, you're with me. Go to Dianne from above."
"On it," Jolyne smiled, her father was finally taking her seriously. She turned her arms into strings and had them grab onto the branches of the few remaining trees as she propelled herself upward. Jotaro ran at Dianne head on.
In the midst of the confusion from the falling trees, Dianne had been able to heal her hand along with her other injuries using Redbone. She looked above her to see Jolyne in the sky, ready to descend onto her. Jotaro was also making his way in front of her, jumping through the shattered ground and charging straight at her. She was being attacked on two different sides.
They're separating the directions from where they're attacking so I can't use Redbone to absorb their attacks. Sweet Little Rock is once again useless… Jotaro is going to be slower on this rough terrain, which means Jolyne will arrive first. This is perfect.
"Elastic Band!"
The red and blue Stand appeared as Jolyne was falling down onto Dianne, her net still wrapped around her.
Elastic Band punched upwards toward Jolyne, its rubber hands easily making it through her net.
"What?!"
Elastic Band wrapped around Jolyne's neck and slammed her to the ground, causing her to spit out blood before being knocked unconscious.
"Jolyne!" Jotaro was a few seconds behind, seeing his daughter getting slammed onto the ground by the rubber stand.
"I already know how to deal with you, Jotaro!" Dianne yelled, "Evil Twin!"
Elastic Band quickly disappeared into red mist and formed to make the purple Stand. Evil Twin smiled as it quickly made a clone of itself.
"Star Platinum-!"
"Too slow!"
The original Evil Twin disappeared into red mist, "The Space Between!"
"-The World!"
Jotaro got ready to stop time but found that his Stand ability wasn't working.
Dianne, who was holding her breath, smiled. The top of the tattoo could be seen just under her collarbone.
Evil Twin's clone still remained, however, and it made its way toward Jotaro, smiling as it showcased its sharp claws.
"Shit…" Jotaro jumped back as he evaded a spiked-claw slash from Evil Twin, "Hey kid, can you attack Dianne from over there?"
"N-no…" Hozier's voice was shaking. He had just witnessed Jolyne get violently thrown to the ground, and now Jotaro was Standless. Tenmei had already been knocked out, and who knew where Joanne and Kenna were? He was the only one left. "If I try to use Take me to Church, I might hit you as well, you're too close!"
"Damn," Jotaro jumped back again, Evil Twin missed another slash, but it didn't give up, swerving around and swinging its sharp claws again.
Jotaro raised his arm to block his face from getting cut open, suffering from grave arm wounds in the process.
Evil Twin kept swinging, cutting more and more of Jotaro's skin open. After a lethal leg cut, Jotaro fell to the ground.
"Damn, this is bad…"
Jotaro rolled over to avoid a fatal stab at the hands of Evil Twin. Just when it looked like he was out of options, with nowhere left to run, the blood he had shed began to float in the air.
"Sorry, Mr. Kujo," Tenmei said as he stepped forward, Ruby Tuesday by his side, "I was out for a while, wasn't I? When Dianne used Hozier's mirror to attack me, I used the blood as a sort of barrier. The crack in the mirror sprayed the blood everywhere and only shallowly wounded my chest. I'm almost completely fine. So don't worry, I'll take things from here."
The blood turned into spikes, and with a swift motion of Tenmei's hand, they were sent flying at Dianne.
"Sweet Little Rock!" Dianne let go of her breath as the rock Stand appeared and created a shield in front of it. The blood swords pierced through the wall but were stuck inside as a consequence.
"Jolyne is knocked out, Jotaro can't move anymore, and the kid's Stand is useless while I'm close to so many of you," Dianne said, "Why don't the two of us settle things once and for all, Kakyoin?"
Ruby Tuesday created a blood scythe and used it to slice off the head of Evil Twin's clone. The clone fell to the floor and broke apart into nothingness.
"Mr. Kujo, can you Stand?"
"I'm afraid not. I'll have my daughter stitch the wounds shut when she wakes up. Until then, this is all up to you, there's not much I can do right now."
"I understand. Please get to your daughter and keep her safe while I fight Dianne."
"After all the little duels we've had, Kakyoin, I'm sad that our little rivalry will end today." Sweet Little Rock and its rock shield disappeared.
"Expresso Love!"
The alchemy Stand appeared, and the symbols written on it glowed as the iron from the blood was taken away to create a tiny pellet of iron.
"I was curious," Dianne said, "To see how exactly your Ruby Tuesday works. I've experimented with Expresso Love, taking away different parts of the blood and seeing if Ruby Tuesday was still able to control it. As you may soon be able to tell, once something is taken away from the blood, you will not be able to control it anymore. The amount of blood you can now use is limited, Kakyoin, let's see what you can do."
"Portobello Belle…" Tenmei said the name of the user of the Stand Dianne had just used, "He truly was a remarkable man. And to think that he was only a year older than me when he died. It pains me to see his Stand used this way. I'll avenge the friend you've killed, Dianne!"
Tenmei ran at Dianne, swinging his blood scythe toward her neck. Expresso Love grabbed onto Ruby Tuesday and slammed the Stand onto the ground, Tenmei facing a similar fate. With a touch of the blood scythe, the iron was extracted and turned into a tiny pellet. The blood now useless to Ruby Tuesday, it turned into a normal liquid and lost its scythe shape.
"Down already, Kakyoin?"
Something caught Dianne's eye, and she was able to revert Expresso Love back into red mist before another blood spike was able to impale its head.
"I'm going to need some more blood, Mr. Kujo," Tenmei got back on his feet, "Just tell me when you start feeling light-headed."
"Take as much as you need, defeating Dianne takes top priority."
"You rob Jotaro of his blood with no hesitation," Dianne smiled, "Just how much can you keep taking? This Stand should spark some memories."
The red mist began to take another shape, and when the Stand took form, Tenmei gasped.
"Vertigo!"
"You've got some nerve showing me that Stand again!"
"I think it's fitting that this is the Stand that finally puts you down, Kakyoin."
"All you know how to do is open up old wounds, Dianne, allow me to show you how to open up new ones!"
Ruby Tuesday, blood spike in hand, swung it at Vertigo.
"You'd better be careful with your movements, Kakyoin. One wrong move and you're done for." Dianne taunted Tenmei as Vertigo dodged the red Stand's attacks. With every jerk and pivot of Vertigo's body and feet, Tenmei and Ruby Tuesday matched the movements, careful not to face an opposite direction of the dark green Stand and fall under its illusion.
He's polished his movements, Dianne thought. Perhaps I was wrong to assume I could get him this easily. I thought that seeing the Stand of his dead lover would throw him off. But it appears to be fueling him further. I need to change strategies quick, this isn't working out for me.
Dianne jumped back, out of Ruby Tuesday's five-meter range, and Vertigo followed as well, "My apologies, Kakyoin, I was wrong to think so little of your capabilities. I'll use a more suitable Stand to finish you off! Thunderstruck!"
Vertigo disappeared into red mist and turned into the blue checkered Stand with thick, boxing glove-like hands.
"A rematch of sorts against Bill Cliff's Stand?" Tenmei asked, "I accept. But can your hand-to-hand combat compete against my weapons?"
"We'll have to see, Kakyoin, now won't we?"
Ruby Tuesday turned the blood spike into a sword, wielding it with both hands as it approached the boxer and began to swing its sword.
Thunderstruck swerved its body left and right, dodging Ruby Tuesday's strikes. It ducked to the ground before punching Ruby Tuesday in the leg.
"Don't get too ahead of yourself, Dianne!"
Part of the blood sword shot out into needles, impaling Thunderstruck's fists.
Dianne clicked her tongue in annoyance as she felt the same wounds on her own hand.
"I could use the extra blood," The blood coming from Dianne's wounds flew into one of Ruby Tuesday's hands, forming into a small knife that it swiped at Thunderstruck.
The blue boxer jumped back as Ruby Tuesday made its way closer. As the red Stand swung its sword at Thunderstruck, the boxer grabbed its opponent's hand. Ruby Tuesday swung its knifed hand at Thunderstruck but found the knife punched out of its hand.
"Damn…"
The punch's strength had doubled, and the strike to Tenmei's hand had broken a couple of his fingers. The next punch would prove to be disastrous, and the one after could even be fatal.
Ruby Tuesday's left hand was useless, it relied on its right as it broke free from Thunderstruck's grasp.
"Kakyoin…"
Jotaro had managed to make his way toward Jolyne, holding her in his hands. He could tell by how the battle was going that Dianne was going to win.
"Don't worry, Mr. Kujo. I'll protect you and your daughter. You too, Hozier, none of you will die, I'll make sure of it. You can trust me."
With his declaration, Ruby Tuesday leaped toward Dianne again.
"Too slow, Kakyoin!"
With a punch to the side, Ruby Tuesday and Tenmei were sent to the ground, their ribs broken. Tenmei puked out blood, as he felt his cracked ribs puncture his skin.
"And one more to finish the job…"
Thunderstruck reeled its arm back, preparing the final punch that would no doubt rip through Tenmei's body. But the blood oozing out of Tenmei's mouth and body turned into spikes that impaled one of Thunderstruck's arms.
"I'm not going to give up, Dianne! I'm going to keep fighting you! For Ally's sake! For June's and Portobello's sakes! For Mr. Polnareff and Mr. Hol Horse's sakes! And for my uncle, Noriaki's sake! For the sake of everyone you've killed and everyone your father's killed!"
Ruby Tuesday grabbed more of the blood and created a spear that was sent through Dianne's neck. Dianne fell back, blood pouring out of her neck and mouth as Thunderstruck disappeared into red mist.
Tenmei sighed as he stood up and gripped his cracked rib cage. Just when it seemed all over, the mist formed into the shape of an angel, and events replayed themselves.
Tenmei found himself back on the ground. He looked over as Thunderstruck reeled back its fist, he had to stab it with blood now. He used his own blood to create spikes and aimed at Thunderstruck's arm, just like before.
"I already know you're going to do that!"
Dianne yelled out as Thunderstruck moved its arm out of the way from the blood.
"What?!"
"Die! Kakyoin!"
Tenmei didn't have time to realize what happened next. Thunderstruck's next punch was equivalent to the strength of sixteen men. Its fist broke straight through Tenmei's stomach and exploded out his back. Thunderstruck had destroyed Tenmei's old stomach scar he had gotten from Ally, and created a gaping hole that ran all the way through his body.
"You die just like your uncle," Dianne spoke to him coldly, as she cruelly yanked Thunderstruck's hand out of Tenmei's stomach, causing him to yell out.
"N-not… yet! Dianne! I'm not finished yet!"
Tenmei yelled as loudly as he could, adrenaline coursing through his body. He summoned all the flowing blood he could and used them to create dozens of blood spears. The spears, completely surrounding Dianne, all flew toward her with incredible force.
"Mr. President!"
Thunderstruck disappeared, and a key took its shape. Dianne quickly reached over toward the key, hoping to go inside its room, but the first blood spear entered through Dianne's hand, preventing her from reaching toward it. Another spear landed near the key, knocking it several meters away from Dianne.
I can do this… Tenmei thought I can win… even if it kills me, I can still win! She won't be able to escape this time! No matter what happens, I'm going to end this! Dianne will die!
Tenmei, the life spilling out of him, yelled out once more as more of the blood spears hurled their way toward Dianne, moving faster than she could process.
There's nothing I can do! Dianne thought Voltaire's cooldown is still in effect… If I stop time with Star Platinum, I won't have enough time to evade them all! There are too many blood spikes to maneuver through in just three seconds! Elastic Band and Ruby Tuesday won't be able to make it to me in time since the key's too far away! Damn it, what do I do?!
Dianne closed her eyes out of fear as the spears came close to her body. Right when she was expecting to be impaled in every direction, she was showered by a giant splash. The pungent scent of iron filled her nostrils as she opened her eyes. Tenmei wasn't moving anymore. His Stand was gone. The spears had turned back into normal blood and splashed all over Dianne.
"Kakyoin's… dead…"
Dianne said this in disbelief but laughed out loud as she fully realized what had happened.
"Kakyoin's dead! And you're next, Jotaro! And then, I'll kill your daughter! And then I'll kill you, Hozier! And then I'll kill Joanne Jones!" Her laugh seemed to be even louder than the raging forest fire. Her cackle shrouded out the noise of splintering, burning trees.
"Kakyoin…" Jotaro looked at Tenmei's unmoving body, "So you've left me as well?"
Jotaro spoke the words quietly enough so that only he could hear them. He looked over at Jolyne, she was beginning to stir, but she wouldn't come to in time.
Jotaro sighed, "Yare yare daze…" he looked over at Hozier as he threw Jolyne near him, "Take care of my daughter. No matter what, make sure she doesn't get hurt, do you hear me?!"
Hozier wiped the tears off his face as he hid Jolyne behind his mirror, "But what about you?"
Jotaro shook his head, "I'll hold her off for as long as possible."
"B-but!"
"Shut up! Keep her safe, do you hear me?!" Jotaro raised his voice, an act of desperation, "Everyone has been taken from me. She's the only one I have left. Protect her, do you hear me?!"
"O-okay…"
Dianne looked over at Jotaro, an amused look on her face, "How touching. Even after everything she's said to you, you still protect her. And here I thought, you were a deadbeat dad."
Dianne went to pick up Mr. President, the key glowed in her hands.
"Out of everyone, Kakyoin has come the closest to killing me. On several occasions, as well. This was one of them. If he had survived just a second longer, he surely would've killed me. But Thunderstruck made sure to get him good. His spine was crushed, and his internal organs were pulverized, it was a surprise that he was able to even remain alive for those few seconds after the punch. I commend him, but in the end, he was just another obstacle in my path. And in the end, he's just another needless dead body brought upon by the blood of the Joestars. I'm going to end this, Jotaro. Our bloodlines don't deserve to continue, I'm sure you realize that. As long as we keep living, more and more people are going to end up hurt. Think about your time with the Stardust Crusaders, how many of their deaths would've been prevented? Think of all the people you've lost now. Had you just given in and let me end the bloodline, Binns and Kakyoin would still be alive. But in the end, the people who have the hardest time facing the facts are the ones who end up suffering the most. I've suffered in my life, and I'm sure you have too, Jotaro. So let's end this once and for all. Let's just finally put an end to all this suffering, Jotaro Kujo!"
"Dianne," Jotaro looked her in the eyes, "You are nothing but pure evil. You are the embodiment of evil itself. You kill innocent people for your own ideals, just like your father."
"My father was Jonathan Joestar! What the hell do you know about me?! It was Jonathan's body that helped create me! Dio is not my true father! Who are you to talk down to me?!"
Jotaro sighed, "All I know is that you're beyond salvation. Killing you is my duty. For these past twenty years, I've been picking up Dio's mess. Restoring the world from his influence. I'm sad to see that someone with so much potential to do good would fall so deep. Dio's memories have plagued you. All you're doing is carrying out his will, twenty years later."
"Shut up! I'm going to end this right here, right now! I'll kill you, Jotaro!"
The key in Dianne's hand turned back into red mist as it transformed into another Stand.
"Def Leppard!"
The metallic Stand turned the air around it dense. Dianne looked at Jotaro with hatred. She did something that she did not know was possible with this Stand. She compressed the dense air and shot it out. The result was several air bullets shooting out, uprooting trees, and creating harsh holes in the ground. The bullets shot out in every direction, shooting out past the burning forest, and even shooting out as far as the ruins of the mansion. In her anger, Dianne hadn't realized how strong she had shot out the air bullets. Before she could so much as look at what happened to Jotaro, Hozier, and Jolyne, she heard a scream from behind her. From the mansion, where she had last left Greta. Her anger suddenly went away, her heart began to beat faster than it had before.
"Greta?!"
She recognized the voice that had screamed out and rushed out of the burning forest.
"Greta! I'm coming, what's going on!"
She yelled out urgently as she ran toward the destroyed mansion. When she arrived, her entire world came crashing down upon her.
Greta was dead, the air bullets had gone through her chest, killing her almost instantly. She looked over at Joanne and Kenna, who had been pushed out of the way.
"Greta…"
She fell to her knees. Before she could let any tears fall down her face, she looked back at the two young girls. She could not have done this. She could never do something like this. It had to have been them. It had to have been Joanne Jones and Kenna Fletcher who took Greta from her.
"You two…"
"We didn't do anything!" Joanne took a step back, "Invisible projectiles flew by themselves, Greta shielded us!"
"You two…" Dianne got back to her feet, her eyes burning with hatred, "You two took the only person I had left away from me! Everyone else I had ever loved was dead. But I still had Greta. I'll tear you two to pieces! You took Greta away from this world! And I'll be sure to rip you two out of this world as well!"
...
A/N: And that's chapter 47! One more to go, this almost doesn't feel real. The final battle isn't even two-thirds complete yet, that's how you know the final chapter will be a long one! Chapter 48 will be just about twice the size of this one, maybe a little less. But it will definitely be 10k+ words, so that's something to look forward to. This was the longest chapter so far, but its accomplishment will soon be usurped next week. A couple major characters died in this chapter, Tenmei, and Greta. Tenmei was always meant to die in the final battle. That was decided before his character was even introduced. I also knew he'd die just like Kakyoin, getting a hole punched in his stomach. But to be honest, Tenmei was one of my favorite characters, and I'm sad that it's finally time to let him go. But he has had the most matches against Dianne, and he's gotten super close to winning every single one. In this final encounter, had he lived just one second longer, he would have killed Dianne and ended the battle. Alas, that didn't happen and as a result, Greta ended up dying too. Now that Dianne's lost everything and blames it all on Joanne and Kenna, how will this final battle end? Will Dianne win, or will the Joestars win? Who else is going to die? Or am I done killing off characters and everyone else will make it out safe and sound? I guess you'll have to find out next week for the conclusion to this entire story, Episode 48: Good Riddance!
