Blue Cipher - It would be far better if you just created your own OC than settling down with the Male Reader style of mc (Y/N) because you are using first-person writing. It should be second person

Slight spoilers for chapter 2

A/N yeah I agree I used the generic Y/N name as a filler till I decide on a decent name. I also don't have much writing experience so thank you for pointing that out. I decided I would get back to the backstory a bit and maybe edit some generic MC later when the story is slightly more fleshed out and would require more details and stuff. It wouldn't matter since once the Mc gets isekai'd he wouldn't have his previous body his soul would just be sent there and he would have to create an identity.

Chapter 2

My eyes suddenly open. I'm laying down on the floor on my side. My hands are covered in blood While on a Pool of blood around me. I sit up and look around. I'm wearing bloody and dirty clothes I'm in a small dark room with a broken window and the front door half fallen.

"It looks like the person I inherited the body of has died succumbing to his injuries," I said with a frown on my face.

God must have had his reason for reviving me this way.

I need a way to warm up fast. "It's freezing here," I say in a low voice.

In the distance, I hear people screaming

"Come out come out wherever you are you brat don't think you can run away from the Yoshinobu clan for long," a man in a deep voice says in the distance

Considering the previous person was bleeding from the side of the stomach and now somebody is looking for somebody that means that the person before me was trying to escape whoever the person screaming is

Thinking quickly, I open a portal to my headquarters. I instantly feel a warm breeze hit my body

Looking around I see to my left I see half the room full of vials, potion bottles, ingredients on tables, and cabinets, and to my right, I see a table in the middle of the room surrounded by books. The table in the middle has a floating book filled with rune symbols. I can read the rune symbols as if they were a normal language. It must be the effect of an expert enchanter. Behind the table is a door seemingly leading nowhere.

"Ah so this is the main room that was made into the workshop," I say to myself

Looking ahead of me I see a hallway and I start heading toward the hallway. When I reach the hallway stretches out surprisingly far. I see stairs leading to a second floor. Walking down the hallway I stop by every door and open them. I open the first door on the right. It's a full kitchen with a dining room attached, the fridge and cabinets are full of food.

"I guess I won't go hungry anytime soon at least," I say

Closing the door and moving on to the next door I spot on the left side of the hallway the next door. Behind the door is a training field along with training equipment in one room.

Closing the door I move on to the last door in the hallway. Opening the door I look inside. I see two-sided lockers at the center of the room with benches on both sides of the lockers. There are multiple normal and sliding doors. 2 normal doors on the left seem to be to enter separate bathrooms. To the right of the room, there are 2 sliding door showers next to each other. straight ahead there are two sets of washers and dryers on opposite ends of the room as well as a double sliding door at the center. Opening it reveals a large onsen.

"Dahm the bathroom was definitely over-constructed by the system"

Deciding to leave the onsen for now I leave the room and move on to the stairs that lead to the second floor. The second floor had 2 doors on the left and right and a single door at the end of the hallway.

Walking past the doors they are each labeled 1-4 guest rooms from left to right reaching the end I see on the door a label saying master bedroom. Walking inside I see a king-size bed at the center back of the room. On each side bed table to the left, I see 1 door labeled stairs. To the right I see 2 doors labeled bathroom and closet. Going over to the closet I look to see for any fresh clothes.

Finding 3 sets of plain white t-shirts, blue jeans, underwear, socks, and basic running shoes I take a pair to the bathroom and take a shower.

Before entering the shower I finally got a good look at my face and body. I look no older than 15. My eyes are dark gray, my hair is in a top knot, hair color is white with black strands. My height is around 5 feet 10 inches if I were to guess and have a very lean physique with little to no muscle.

"Holy shit I look good not celebrity good but I look better than the average guy."

I step into the shower

After getting out of the shower and changing I decide to go to sleep for the night

Morning

Waking up I get out of bed and walk down to the workshop room. Looking to the side of the entrance door I see a display screen. I look at the screen and see it displays a list of mana stones available for collection. Selecting collect I see the mana stones appear in front of me

"Now then what should I focus on learning for today? like the sun Tzu said (Know thy enemy, know thyself. you must not fear the result of a thousand battles) or something like that. I need to learn the limits of my abilities."

using my crafting book skill I was able to get a grasp of alchemy. I managed to create 5 Lvl 3, 20 LVL 2, and 100 LVL 1 healing potions. Each lvl that the potion has makes it 2x more potent than the last. I created all different types of potions but one that caught my interest was the fertility potion. If I can create some of those and sell them to the underworld I may make a small fortune. For my first batch of potions, I would say it came out well, I also got better at alchemy as a bonus.

Enchanting was more tricky. You pour magic into the enchanting table, place the item that you want to enchant, and activate the table depending on the amount of magic you pour in depending on the quality and amount of enchantments placed on an item. There are two types of enchantments.

The first one is basic enchantments that increase your overall item for example unbreaking will make it so your items have more durability protection making it so you take less damage so on and so forth. There are levels to each enchantment; each level increases the enchantment's potency by over 2x. For example, a protection one shirt would probably stop a knife from piercing lethally but with protection 3 it would be more than 8x as potent making the knife not even cut the shirt.

The other type of enchantment are similar to skills; they don't enhance the basic stats but will add extra skills/stats examples. Storage will create a separate dimension that will hold a small portion of items. Another one that I got was mending items will repair themselves gradually over time. There are thousands of unique enchantments.

Reading from the crafting book I can create blank enchanting coins using mana crystals. The enchanting coins can fuse with the wanted item by saying enchant and the name of the enchantment. If I have two of the same enchantment and the same lvl coin I can fuse them to get the higher lvl. example, protection lvl2 plus protection lvl2 equals protection lvl3.

Looking at the clock on the wall I see that it's 9 pm

"Dahm I spent all day learning about my crafting classes and I haven't even scratched the surface. I guess I should head to bed and try to go to kuoh I need to make myself part of the main story and I have some hunches I need to confirm about what they don't show in the anime."

Next morning

My stomach growls so I eat some cereal before leaving headquarters.

Leaving the same way I came in through the portal door I find myself in the same room I first arrived in. The pool of blood has dried and there is caution tape on the half-broken door.

"The cops must have put the caution tape indicating a crime scene. They must think there is a sloppy killer on the loose." Deciding it was better to leave I left the area before I got spotted

I end up leaving the room that was in the middle of a dark alleyway. leaving the alleyway it's a residential road with some stores here and there looking around I see a shop owner.

"Hey, boss, where am I?" I ask the shop owner

"What do you mean where are you? You're in Kyoto boy you must have a terrible memory to not recognize where you were" The shop owner replies with a grin on his face

"Yeah, I was told I had short-term memory loss and would often forget some things," I say trying to give a convincing reason for asking what seems like an idiotic question to him

"Hey boss, what are you selling?" I ask

"just some staple yakitori. Are you interested in giving my special recipe a taste?" The shop owner asks

"Yes it smells delicious but I have no cash. By any chance are you physically hurt somewhere? I do have some medical supplies with me." I ask for one this is a good time to test my weakest healing potion and get some food at the same time

"Yeah my ankles have been killing me for a week now I think I may have strained it last week and it has been recovering slowly." He says

"How about this boss man if I can heal your ankle this minute you give me 10 yakitori on the house," I ask hoping he would say yes

"Yeah alright then if you can heal my ankle in a minute I'll give you ten yakitori on the house. You must have some trick up your sleeve to be so confident in healing me" he says

Oh, you don't even know the half of it. Taking off my backpack that has been enchanted with Storage lvl 2 and potion storage lvl2 I bring out a lvl 1 healing potion and hand it to him

"What am I supposed to do with this," the shop owner asks

"It's a medical drink to help with recovery, inflammation, and pain relief. it's instant action and should take effect almost immediately. I'm a pharmacist" I say

Looking at the bottle with contemplation in his eyes he looks over at me and back at the bottle

"What the hell I made a deal if this is what it takes then down the hatch it goes" he chugs the bottle down

"It didn't taste half bad" looking down at his foot he moves around in circles around his food stand then grabs an aluminum bag, grabs 10 pieces of yakitori places it in the bag and hands it over to me

"A deals a deal whatever was in that bottle it worked miracles not only did my ankle heal I don't feel much pain around my body," he says with a smile on his face lifting his hand and flexing it in front of me

"That's wonderful to hear. One last thing boss man can you tell me where the shrine is at" I ask him

"Yeah if you go down this block about 10 or so streets the path leading to it should be on the very left it's not hard to miss," he says

"Thanks, boss man I hope you have a good rest of the day I'll be going now," I say

"Yeah you too kid your welcome back anytime" he waves to me as I walk away

Pulling out a yakitori from the bag I much down on it as I walk to the shrine. The lvl1 healing potion seems more potent than I thought. I thought it would only heal light wounds it might still need a bit more testing to see how strong it actually is. I start thinking about the best way to meet up with Miyasaka on the way to the shrine.

"The old man wasn't lying he should have added if I missed it I'd be a retard because the step leading to the shrine are unbelievably hard to miss"

Walking up the stairs I realize it's going to be a pain in the ass to meet with yasaka. Reaching the top I see a good amount of people praying. Deciding to go deeper I walk past the shrine temple Almost as if Lady Luck is on my side. Oh wait she is, I see Yasaka in her human form in the distance talking to who I can only guess is another youkai.

Walking over she notices me and turns in my direction. Releasing her aura I immediately feel this feeling of fear rise up in me. She isn't the top of her clan for nothing

I raise my hands in the air showing her I'm not a threat. She immediately disperses the aura. as I finish walking up to her I bow, finish my bow, and ask her a question

"Hello shrine priestess, do you believe in the supernatural?"

A/N boom end of chapter 2 shorter than chapter 1 but overall I tried to do as much as I could during the last week. It's been a hectic week. Of course, as always criticism is always appreciated, and let me know. Don't forget to like and follow it's always appreciated.
