This is just something I wanted to do, though I'm not Christian/Catholic, I've got all the facts right from my friends. Jack, with a little prayer. PS, even though I USED to be a JE fan, the way it happened in DMC makes me think that Elizabeth is lying, two timing, double crossing backstabbing BITCH! THEREFORE, I shall make Jack stay on the ship alone, not because da whore queen tied him to it, but because he loves the pearl. Now that I have that out of my system, here, have fun. I DON'T OWN ANYONE!

Suddenly it struck Jack. The Kraken, it wanted him, not the Pearl, Not it's Crew, but it's Captain, him… he knew what to do. He had to go to it. There was no other way. But his crew would never let him do that. "Abandon Ship." Those two words cut into his heart like a knife heated in the fire.

Mr. Gibbs asked, "But captain, the pearl…"

"She's just a ship mate, abandon ship." He repeated, tears coming to his eyes. He looked around, knowing that it would be their last time together, a great ship, and her great captain. Everyone boarded the long boat. They had set off and were 15 meters away from the ship when they noticed, Jack was not with them.

"NO!" cried Mr. Gibbs, realizing at once what had happened.

"What?" asked Will.

"A captain-" he was echoed by the rest of the crew, "Always goes down with his ship…" Elizabeth's horror was mirrored in Will's face. Mr. Gibbs took off his hat in a salute, followed by the crew. Elizabeth sobbed into Will's shoulder. Will himself could hardly believe it.

They looked at the ship. Jack was waving his final goodbye. "REMEMBER THIS FOREVER AS THE DAY OF THE GREATEST CAPTAIN IN THE WORLD, CAPTAIN JACK SPARROWS CAUSED THE KRAKEN INDIGESTION!" he yelled. Elizabeth burst into tears. Jack turned around and walked around on the ship. He fingered the carvings on his wheel. Memories of all the adventures he'd shared with his ship flashed through his head. He remembered what he'd done to get her. Images of the hot iron, burning into his flesh. He pulled up his sleeve and looked at the black circle branded into his shoulder. He looked around in the hold. All the small bits about the ship were flowing through his head. He could remember every part of her.

He sat down under the mast. Looking around, making sure nobody was there, forgetting that he was alone, he reached inside his bedraggled shirt and pulled out a silver cross. He began to pray, "Our Father in heaven, holy be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as in heaven. What comes next…? Ah, yes, give us today our daily bread and, uh, forgive us our sins and we forgive those who sin against us…well, not really. Do not bring us to the test, but deliver us from temptation. And monsters." and he got up, drew his sword, placed his cap firmly on his head and with the krakens mighty arm, the Black Pearl went down, taking along the man whom so many loved (and loathed), The Great Captain Jack Sparrows, to his watery grave, on the bottom of the only world he knew.

Well? Angsty. Sorry, wonder if you like it… REVIEW!
