Why I came back

I needed to do something so I decided to write a story to how Ed came back from Germany and how everything goes Oh…….This story is dedicated to Kumori Elric because in writing her story NO LONGER A SHADOW she has included me in it in so many ways. So this is my way of saying thank you! Now on with the story!

CHAPTER ONE

It had been almost a week since Ed and Al came back home, from the other side of the gate. During that time Winry had fixed Ed's arm and leg, and she went to take him places so that he could see some people he hadn't seen and needed to thank. Rose had gotten married in a rebuilt Lior, and was sharing her life with her husband and son Henry. Roy and Riza were finally married and were expecting their first child which was due in a few months, and Roy had been made the Furer. Sheezika (sp?) was dating someone from the military, and visited Winry often. Ed was surprised at how many changes had been made since he was gone, but at the same time it was exciting he was happy for so many people he knew that they all deserved it. Recently Ed started in the Military and was happy to be under the command of Roy. About a Month after he had returned ad visited with so many people Roy informed him that there was a military ball coming up.

"WHAT", screamed Ed

"Do I have to repeat my self a military ball is coming up next week and you need to have an escort."

"Well that is nice only one problem I HAVE NO MONEY!"

"Don't worry I will cover all of your expenses' as long as you take a girl with you…….you are going to take a GIRL aren't you?"

"SHUT IT! Of course I will I'm not GAY"

"Good……..who ya gonna take?"

"THAT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSSINESS!"

"Maybe you should take Winr---"

Sadly enough before he could finish Ed slammed Roy door right in his face. Ed slowly walked back to his apartment in central. Who am I going to take? As he opened the door his phone started to ring, when he answered it he heard Winry's voice on the other end.

"HI Ed!"

"Hey Win' wats up"

"Nothing much…not many customers these days…you?"

"Nothing it's real boring here…real boring"

"I see…….hey isn't there a military ball coming up?"

"HEY! How did you know about that?"

"Hee hee…….Sheesika told me silly….so who are you taking?'
"Well……ummm…."

"Come on you can tell me we've known each other forever!"

"Umm…no one yet"

"REALLY!...uhhhh…….I mean……really."

"Yea…….since you brought that up would you want……to….ummmm…go with me?"

"YES YES!...uhhhhh……I mean…yea sure that would be cool"

"Alrite…how soon can you come to Central?"

"Probably…….tomorrow."

"Alrite see you then…um bye"

"Bye!"

When Ed turned around and looked in the mirror to find himself looking like he got hit in the face with a bunch of tomatos. When he calmed down he simply said to him self. Maybe this won't be so bad after all.
