SPOILER: There is a small tiny spoiler, if it could count as one, but the first one to tell me what it is and what episode it's in will get a treat!
SUMMARY: It's Gil's birthday and what is better than a little bit of romance and of course food!
A/N: In honor of Gil's 50th birthday!
"So boss, ya ready to turn the big five- O?"
Greg grinned which ended when Gil glared at him.
"Just keep quiet Greg, when you hit 'the big five-O' you won't be as cheerful. I'd just rather not think about it. And for that comment you can have the bloater out at Lake Mead. Nick, Warrick, Sara, you guys have a double out on the strip."
"Aw man I'm stuck with the lovey- dovey couple?"
Sara smacked him in the arm hard.
"Shut up Warrick, you're just sore that you don't have a girlfriend."
Warrick rubbed his arm.
"Gees girl, I don't think you hit me hard enough."
"Well if you'd keep your mouth shut . . ."
"Well if you don't take everything so seriously . . ."
Gil decided to end the childish banter.
"Ok children! Those bodies won't be there forever."
"Yes father."
They all got up and left. Once they entered the hallway Gil heard them start their arguing again.
"Kids."
Catherine just laughed. They got up and headed to his office.
"Honey, why am I ALWAYS stuck doing the majority of YOUR paperwork?"
They entered his office.
"Just because you love me and I'm just to darn cute."
Cath laughed.
"I'm starting to doubt that."
Gil put his hands over his heart and fell back onto the couch.
"I'm hurt."
Cath sat on his stomach.
"You'll get over it you big baby."
Gil pouted.
"No I won't, I'll be scarred for LIFE!"
Cath leaned over and kissed him.
"Okay, I guess I'll heal. But it'll take a few more of those kisses.
Cath stood up.
"Nope sorry, my mean boss has me doing his paperwork."
"When have I EVER asked you to do my paperwork?"
"Oh I don't know. I mean your work my pay? Why wouldn't I just jump at the chance to do it?"
Gil started to tickle her.
"Gil STOP!"
That didn't do anything.
"Why should I?"
"Because you love me."
Still nothing.
"Because you want your early birthday present tonight after dinner."
That got his attention.
"Early present?"
"Nope, not after tickling me and not stopping when I asked you."
Cath sat down in the chair that was facing away from Gil. Gil pouted again.
"Come on Cath please?"
She still didn't budge. He walked over and started massaging her shoulders and kissing her neck.
"Pretty please with a kiss on top?"
"Kiss first."
They started kissing passionately until someone cleared their throat.
"I came here to ask about the dinner but the way you two are going at it you might not make it there."
"Brass shut up. What did you want?"
"What time are we meeting up?"
"Again? We're meeting 6:30 at the Shady Maple."
"Thanks. You may continue."
"Gee glad we have your approval."
Brass left and of course they started kissing again.
