Call of Gundam: Finest Hour

Introduction

Turning Point

February, 1942…

It was no surprise that Churchill had misgivings about Hitler at Munich seeing as how his Axis war machine was tearing through Europe and North Africa.

For the British it was hell. Since the year before, Herman Gorrings Luftwaffe had been blitzing London almost nightly, and the RAF was having trouble countering.

France had since surrendered and the Resistance was doing the best they could.

The USSR was fighting off the fascists at Leningrad with no idea of the upcoming disaster at Stalingrad that would claim 2 million lives.

The US was training it's men and preparing to invade North Africa and then gear towards Sicily.

It was with all this in mind that Winston Churchill signed approval for Operation Meteor, and the creation of fighter planes known as Gundams, and he sent forth this telegram to all Allies and Resistance fighters:

"Send us your best pilots, who are brave of heart and not afraid of death in the sky. With their help we may destroy the fascists and their nefarious plans for the world."

And they would come, but not before the telegram was recepted by General Kushranada, Hitler's Secretary of State. With this information he created the Oz division, with higher authority than the SS, they would counter Meteor with the best pilots and soldiers Germany could provide, led by Major Zechs Marquis also know as the Lightning Baron, trained by Baron Manfred von Richthofen, the infamous Red baron.

A battle of such proportion was brewing that the course of history would forever be changed.
