A/N: Another attempt at a STABLE fan fiction account. I hope this story works out well! Please no flames! Please! Oh yeah, a little more about the story…This girl's name is Micah Adams. She was abducted in 1980 at the age of sixteen. Upon returning, she's found that her whole world's messed up. All of her friends forgot about her. Her dad died. And on top of the culture shock of skipping twenty-four years of her life, she came back with an ability she was unaware of. Until the date below, anyways.

Oh yeah, this thingy… Disclaimer—I do not own the 4400, but I do own Micah, her family, friends, and the school. Oh yeah, and the reporter chick.

"Micah, you need to wake up. You have to go back to school." I groaned. I couldn't believe this. I still had to go to school. "Mom, I'm not ready! Please let me get used to the 21st century before pushing me into society!" I yelled. I knew it wouldn't work though. It never worked. I sighed and opened my closet. Then I grabbed my notebook to blow off some steam through writing. I wish the whole school would just burn. Burn to the ground. But I don't want any people killed Ha ha, you know what? Here's the number of people that will be injured in the ' fire'…15. I especially want that girl from down the street, Sarah Niles. If all of her "Oh so perfect" hair was burnt off…ooh… that would make my day! Well, I gotta go! Micah

I walked as slowly as possible down the steps. I really didn't want to go back to school. "Micah! Come down here now!" my mom screamed. I ran down the steps to see fire on the TV screen. "We're down here at Black Lake High School, where only moments ago, three big fires erupted. So far, the injured count is at ten and luckily there have been no fatalities. This is Gabby Martinez reporting. Back to you, Jill." Mom pulled me down onto the couch and got in my face. "Micah Nicole Adams, did you set that school on fire?" I pulled away from her in shock. "What! How in the hell could I have done that! I've been up in my room getting ready!" She leaned in closer. "Some of the 4400's that returned came back with…abilities. Are you one of the ones? You were moping around about having to go to school today. This fits right in." I stared at her intently. "Do you really believe I'd set the school on fire mom?" I asked her. She stared at the floor and didn't answer.

Mom's taking me to the 4400 center in Seattle. Ugh, I don't know what's gotten into her! She's accusing me! ME! Her own daughter! Of setting the school on fire. But I will tell you the statistics of the fire. 15 injured, including Sarah Niles. Half of her hair was charred off. But they told her it would all grow back. Sigh…Well, this is bull! I can't believe she really thinks I have ability.
