Chapter 2
It took a few hours, but RJ was able to get the bullet out, and bandage up the wing.
RJ smiled at her.
"All done, Marina."
"Thanks, RJ. You're a great guy."
RJ smiled.
"Well, I wouldn't say that..."
He began blushing.
"That's why I'm saying it."
"...Thanks, Marina."
"No prob, RJ."
RJ let her rest...
RJ walked through the forest.
"What are you doing, RJ? You're beginning to have feelings for a bat!" He said to himself.
But she's beautiful, he thought, answering his question.
RJ decided to go back, and while everyone else was asleep, he found Marina awake.
He surprised her by walking into the log.
"Oh! RJ, you're awake..."
"Yeah. Is your wing feeling any better?"
"Alot better. Thanks."
RJ felt nervous.
"Are you okay, RJ?"
"Oh, I'm fine."
"You sure?"
Marina looked concerned.
RJ decided to tell her.
"Marina, I...Think I'm falling in love with you..."
Marina just stared at him?
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Oh, RJ...You're the first guy who's ever said that to me."
Now RJ was surprised.
"Really?"
Marina nodded.
RJ walked over to her, and looked into her eyes.
He then leaned forward, and kissed her.
