Shulk: I still can't believe Melia didn't tell us she was royalty!
Spyro: Really? It seemed a little obvious to Cynder and I.
Shulk: Guess I was expecting something different.
Spyro: That being?

Shulk: What was I thinking?! Melia's super close with these two! If I say anything who's to say they won't tell her?!
Spyro: Shulk? Are you okay?
Shulk: Calm down, Shulk. Think this through.
Spyro: Shulk, what is going on?
Shulk: May as well just be honest with him. I guess if Melia was royalty, I'd have been expecting her to be more... arrogant, I guess?
Spyro: Well, you know what they say. A cover is not the book.
Shulk: Yeah, I feel pretty stupid thinking about it in retrospect.
Spyro: Hey, we all have those moments.
Shulk: Just... can you please not tell Melia what I said?
Spyro: I wasn't planning to.

Spyro: (Having his own "Press X to Doubt" moment) I don't buy that at all, but I'll let it slide for now. Okay then. If you remember what you were going to say, let me know.
Shulk: Will do! That was way too close.

Shulk: Crap! How am I supposed to respond to this?! May as well be honest. I guess I half expected Melia to be more of a snob if she was royalty.
Spyro: Really?
Shulk: I know how rude that sounds, but that's just what was in my mind.
Spyro: It was pretty rude. You know how they say a cover is not the book? You might want to keep that in mind.
Shulk: Yeah, definitely something for my conscious mind to remember in future.
Spyro: Don't feel too guilty about it though. We all have those moments. It's how we learn from them that matters.

Spyro: Yeah right. You just don't like being called out when you're wrong. My apologies then.

And that looks like a good spot to wrap up for now. I'll be honest, this wasn't one of my favorite chats. I really had no idea where to go with this one from the reference chat that Shulk has in Alcamoth. I still think this one was good enough to make it, hence why it's here.
