Juxtaposition of a know-it-all and a flower
'Harry?'
'Yes.'
'Can I ask you something?'
'Of course.'
'What do you think of Lavender?'
Harry, who was lying on his four-poster bed, now sat up to look Ron in the eyes.
'Do you want my very honest opinion?'
'Yes.'
'And comparing to who or may be better what would that be?'
'Harry, I'm serious.'
'Then explain me first why I need to tell that to you.'
'Because – because I'd like to know if I have made my biggest mistake ever.'
It became silent in the dormitory.
'Ok,' Harry started carefully. 'I think she is …'
Ron was looking very fearful at Harry now.
'I am not going to say that you have done something extremely stupid.'
'Well, go on then,' Ron urged him.
'I think she is a bit too snoggish and believing a bit too much of what dear professor Trelawney is telling us.' Ron already let out a sigh. 'And, that she is definitely not your type,' Harry ended.
Once more, there was silence in the dormitory.
'Was just asking, because you know, compared to Hermione she is so dim-witted and … different.'
'Compared to Hermione? Dim-witted?'
'Well, they look pretty the same but on the inside they are so different. I mean, Hermione is very smart while Lavender is definitely not. Hermione is also braver, but Lavender cries actually quite fast. Moreover, Hermione is also …'
'Yes?' Harry asked, who was now grinning very broad.
'Never mind,' Ron said quickly.
'You know, it was the biggest mistake of my life,' he said a little later.
'You're kidding,' Harry said, still grinning. Then he grabbed his pillow and hit a not expecting Ron on the head.
'What was that for?' Ron said angrily.
'To wake you up from your dreams.'
'Oh yes.'
'Yes.'
Ron grabbed a pillow now to and run to Harry.
'I'll wake you up,' he said and tried to hit Harry.
Then they both started laughing and dropped themselves on Harry's four-poster bed.
'Let's go down for dinner,' Harry said.
'Yes, brilliant plan,' Ron said seriously.
Once more laughing, they went down to the Great Hall.
