Chapter 5: Mine Busters
Sonia is about to call Wes and the others with the news blazing about the attack on the Pokemon Center. Leon gave her a call and she picks it up. "Hey Leon," she said.
"Sonia, this is getting out of hand. You saw the news," Leon said.
"Yep, the news is ablaze with Cipher attacking the Pokemon Center and stealing Pokemon. They disappeared without a trace," Sonia said.
"I need to get some answers out of that creepy guy Morpheus," Leon said.
"You sure about this?" she asked.
"Hey, I am the Unbeatable Champion. I will not stop to some weirdo," Leon said feeling brave as he cuts off the line. Sonia is deeply worried about this.
"Morpheus is beyond ruthless. I hope you know what you are doing," Sonia said as she is contacting Wes and the gang to go on a mission.
Elsewhere Wes is in his bed to be within a nightmare. He is in an area of a lab to be holding onto a red-haired girl who was his old partner Rui. He begs for her to live but she slowly and painfully dies from the vicious experiments done on her by Doctor Death.
"Sorry Wes, you are too late to save her and now she is going to die a freak because of you," Morpheus said as his laughs echo within his mind.
"Rui, Rui," Wes breaks out of his sleep to be in bed as he is in deep anger about Doctor Death. "Not again. I am not Morpheus win over me," he said as he sees the lovely angel coming into his room to check on him.
"Wes, are you okay? I wanted to greet you but you were screaming in your sleep," Lillie said as Wes feels sorry for worrying her.
"Sorry I had a bad dream," Wes said.
"What was it about?" she asked as she sits down on the bed. Wes thinks she looks so beautiful wearing a simple white nightgown to fit her tall curvy figure.
"Well, it was my failure. My friend Rui was captured and got sent to a lab nearby Orre on an island. I raided the place but it was too late. Morpheus transform her into a monster and her psychic powers were out of control. I was forced to take her down and put her to rest while Morpheus was laughing in the background," Wes said feeling sorrowful about it.
"I see, so this is personal for you. This mission to stop Morpheus?" she asked as she looks deeply into his bright red eyes wanting to make him feel better.
"Yes but it's not just Rui, other people have suffered because of him. I bet he has a secret base here in Galar somewhere," Wes said as Lillie thinks about this.
"I wonder if they are holding my brother in a base like that," Lillie said as something is within her mind. "So, who is this Rui to you?" she asked.
"Oh, she is a good friend who helped me greatly in Orre with her Psychic powers allowing her to see the Shadow Pokemon and their dark aura. Normal people can't see the aura only Psychics and special gear can see this," Wes said as Lillie nods her head.
"I see, she wasn't your girlfriend?" she asked bluntly as Wes gagged on his spit.
"Where did that come from?" he asked.
"I was curious?" she asked as Wes laughs at her. "What is so funny?" she asked.
"It's pretty obvious on your face. Nothing happened. She is not my special lady if that is what you are asking," he said in a light tone.
"Can I be your special lady?" she asked as she gets closer to him to smell his familiar scent which brings her comfort in his presence.
"The last girl who was close to me, she got killed in all this. Doctor Death will come for you and use you to get to me," Wes said as he looks at this beautiful angel who has had his back since they came to these lands.
"I don't care. I lost my chance to become a Champion when they labeled me a criminal by the Pokemon League but this is a good cause," Lillie said as she places her hand on his chest. "You are a good man Wes and I want to be by your side in the roughest of times," Lillie said as she kisses him on the cheek.
"You are a good partner and a good woman," Wes said as he leans him to kiss her on the lips.
Lillie got her breath taken from her as she holds onto this sweet lip lock. "Oh Wes," she thought as their comlinks went off to break this little moment.
"Guys, are you there? We got big problems on our hands," Sonia said as she break up the sweet moment.
"You need something?" Wes asked as he is deeply concerned by the news.
"Yes Cipher has gotten into a Pokemon Center and stolen Poke balls along with killing the staff there," Sonia said.
"Seriously?" he asked.
"Yes, Helen has given me some intel about seeing them nearby Gladwell by an old mine that has been abandoned. You need to get there and destroy that base," Sonia said.
"Sure, we are on it," Wes said as he looks into the golden angel's green eyes. "We will talk about this later," Wes said as Lillie just smiles at him to kiss him on the lips again.
"I will be waiting tiger," she said as she gets off the bed to go to the bed. Wes stares at her wide hips and big bottom hugging the back of her nightgown for he can't keep his eyes off her seductive walk.
"Man, she is a doll face," he thought as he prepares to get into his gear for the mission ahead.
Lillie goes into her room to be deeply excited. "Oh goodness, we kissed and it felt so good too. We are going to be a couple. Just need to do this mission and talk it over properly. My heart is racing like crazy," she said to strip out of her nightgown to be in her white underwear which is holding in her 36G tits and formed around her curvy rear. "I beg he is going to love this," she thought as she gets into her fresh new white dress and white tights.
N and the others are waiting outside to be ready to go. "Gee, talk about hardcore," Meowth said.
"I know right, we never did anything that nuts before," Jessie said.
"You never stole from a Pokemon center?" N asked.
"I mean we did a few times but we didn't murder anything. We smoke the place, go get the Pokemon and leave before the cops show up. This is very cruel for no reason," James said.
"That is who we are dealing with. They are quite ruthless with their goals and they will not let anything get in their way," N said.
"Yeah, we will be on top of things," James said.
"Yeah, the boss can count on us," Meowth said as Wes and Lillie comes nearby with Liz nearby.
"Good, I can't wait to see your performance out on the field," Wes said.
"Yes boss," the trio said as Liz teleports them back to Gladwell to see people are getting anxious about the current events happening.
"Oh, good to see you, Wes. Your crew is here as well," Helen said.
"So, point us in the right direction?" Wes asked.
"Over there in the hills nearby. Some of them were noticed there going into the old mine. Be careful," Helen said.
"Alright, be cautious," Wes said as the team heads into the forest with his Espeon trying to sense for danger.
"I can feel them, we are getting close," Liz said as they find the entrance to the mine which has a powerful-looking Shadow Flygon.
"Great," Wes said as he draws out his pistols with Lillie tossing Snowy onto the field.
"We will deal with this. N, James, Jessie, and Meowth go into the mine," Lillie said as Snowy unleash an Ice Beam with the Flygon flying above the attacks.
"Alright, let's head inside," N transforms into his Burst state to be within his Zoroark Hybrid form to melt into the shadows.
"I can't get used to that," Meowth said as the trio go inside the mine. Flygon unleashes Dragon's Breath to pepper the field with energy blasts.
Snowy knocks around the move as she uses Icicle Spear to fling big sharp chunks of ice to strike the wings to force it down onto the ground. Liz goes in to use Psy Beam to slam a ray of psychic energy to hit the beast to knock it into a tree.
The Flygon unleashes Earthquake to surge the ground with power to break several sections of the ground to knock them away. Snowy took the hit and got sent flying to flop into a tree to knock her out.
Wes is firing his guns with the dragon using its wings to block his shots. Liz is blocking incoming several rocky shots with barriers to protect her partner. He tosses a flash grenade to blind the dragon as Espeon uses a Psyshock to knock the Flygon into the air. He sets his guns on full auto to pepper the beast's scales with bullets making it weaker.
The Flygon spits rock at high speed with him getting behind a tree but the rock was fast enough to break the tree in half. "Snowy," she said as she returns her to her Poke ball to switch to Galarian Rapidash to use Psychic to hold Flygon in place and hit it with a powerful blast to send it away.
Espeon uses Swift to unleash a barrage of energy stars to cut into the Flygon as Rapidash fires a Moonblast to score a major hit gravely weakening the dragon. The Pokemon unleashes a dual Psychic attack to finish off the shadow Pokemon.
Wes activates his Snug Machine on his right arm to transform an Ultra Ball into a Snug Ball to capture it. The ball moves three times and he managed to snug it. "Good, one Shadow Pokemon down. Time to go into the mine," Wes said as Lillie nods her head.
"Right, Snowy got caught off guard. That thing is ruthless," Lillie said.
"That is Shadow Pokemon for you, always be on alert," Wes said.
"Get on top of me," Rapidash lets them ride on top of her to swiftly ride inside the mine.
"N, what is your status?" Wes asked.
"Oh, we are having a bit of a problem," N uses his claws to rip apart a Cipher Peon letting his head roll onto the ground. Jessie's Seviper is inflicting the Cipher Peons and their Pokemon with venom while using its bladed tail to slice them to pieces.
Jessie gets behind a rock to avoid a grenade as Seviper slices the enemy grunt in half with red painting the walls and Seviper's bladed tail.
James summons Mime Jr to let out bursts of Fairy Wind to blow enemies away. Mime Jr uses his powers to stop bullets in mid-air to protect James and Meowth. He flips them back onto them and killed them off.
"Thanks, Mime Jr," James feels graceful as his Pokemon keeps fighting. A Shadow Aggron appears to unleash a beam of solid energy to slam into Mime Jr to launch it into James' arms.
"That is a big boy right there," Meowth said.
"No shit," James responds as Aggron uses Stone Edge to summon waves of rocky spears out of the ground to tear up the place.
Seviper took a big hit and knocks it into a wall "Damn it, this is insane," Jessie said as Seviper uses Iron Tail to block a powerful strike from the Shadow Aggron. Mime Jr gathers a ton of rocks with his mind and tosses them into the big brute to stun it for a moment.
"Dark Arrows," N summons down a barrage of black spears to crave into the armored back of the Pokemon drawing blood. He empowers his claws with darkness to slash into the metal back. The Shadow Aggron let out a powerful energy surge to knock N away.
"Psycho Cut," Rapidash slashes the air with her big horn as pink energy crescents crave into the beast. "Mystical Fire," she unleashes magical flames to engulf the beast to roast it alive.
Wes switches to his Double Shot pistol to fire two explosive slugs to unleash big explosions to crack some of the Pokemon's armored shells. "Eat this," N lobs dark spears into the cracked spots to put it down.
"Good work so far," Wes said as he tosses a Snug Ball to manage to capture the beast to be purified and healed later.
"Thanks," the trio said as they enter a big warehouse area to see an Elite Cipher Peon named Aero wielding a Burst Heart and holding a Charizard.
"Wait a minute, you have a Burst Heart too?" Lillie questioned but she noticed the Burst Hearts are red gems but the one within Aero's glove is a green gem.
"Our great leader has one of the six Burst Hearts. This is a copy but it's just as good, Burst!" Aero shouted the word as he activates his Burst form to merge with Charizard.
Aero appears with scales all over his brawny frame with large sharp dragon wings and a long strong tail appearing out of his back, talons are on his hands and feet, horns are on his head and long fangs out of his mouth.
"Good to see you again Wes. It's too late now traitor," Aero roared as he flies towards the group.
"Burst!" Lillie said as she transforms to summon a barrier to block his charge to blow him back with a psychic shove. "You guys get the Pokemon. I will deal with this guy," she said as she leashes out balls of darkness with Aero regaining his footing to block them with his wings.
"A legendary Pokemon from Alola. Very interesting, young lady," Aero is peppering the area with fireballs as she is dodging the attacks. Aero opens his mouth to fire a ball of flames with Lillie summoning a barrier to defend and deflect back at the two causing a big explosion that rips the section apart.
Aero pops out of the dust cloud to tackle Lillie sending her flying across the warehouse. "Lillie?" Wes said sounding worried.
"Don't worry my love, help the Pokemon. I am going to kick him to the curve where he belongs," Lillie said within his mind.
"That's my girl," Wes said as he leads his team deeper within the underground base with Lillie lobbing several Psychic attacks to knock the Hybrid into a wall. "Psybeam," she fires a powerful ray to match Aero's Flamethrower.
The two attacks clash and explode with Lillie throwing herself into the battle to use her ghostly claws to cut and slash into the evil Burst Warrior. She flings several objects around them and smashes into him.
"Enough, Overheat," he builds up energy within his body as Lillie puts up a barrier to protect herself. A wave of heat burns throughout the massive room as she gets knocked backward but is left unharmed.
"Psychic Terrain," Lillie summons a field of psychic energy to overcome the entire space to empower herself. She swiftly goes in and claws into the evil hybrid to hit him with a close-range Shadow Ball. "Geist Sphere," Lillie summons a big orb that shoots mini orbs to seek out their targets.
Lillie fades into the shadows with Aero trying to avoid the barrages of ghostly orbs but gets nailed by a fierce barrage of dark energy. "Damn it," Aero is helplessly against her power.
"Phantom Force," Lillie leaps out of the shadows to kick the ghostly orb to land a hit to unleash a big explosion to heavily damage Aero. Lillie flies like a fearsome ghost with her empowered claws coming in to rip Aero to pieces leaving him a bloody mess with his wings have been severed.
She unleashes an Expanding Force to hit Aero very hard to knock it out of his Burst Form to become human again. Aero is on the floor looking bruised and bloodied to see him wearing the Burst Heart glove which has a cracked gem on top. She goes over to take the glove off Aero's hand.
"The glove looks fine but the Burst Heart lookalike is busted," Lillie said as he pulls out the gem to see the Charizard still inside unharmed. "At least he wouldn't be used like a tool anymore," Lillie said as she flies forward to see the others securing the storage room where the stolen Pokemon from the center where held.
"Good, let's Sonia call the cops and they can secure the area," Wes said as he makes the call on his comlink. "Yo Sonia, we managed to bust this mine and the stolen Pokemon are secured," Wes said.
"Oh, good grief. Good work, you guys," Sonia said.
"Also, we captured some Shadow Pokemon as well," Wes said.
"Oh goodness, set up the teleporter and send them to me," Sonia said to cut off the radio.
"Liz, get us out of here," Wes said as the Espeon teleports them away back to the hideout.
"A great mission success," Liz said.
"Indeed, you two were not bad," Meowth said as the duo yelled at him.
"What the hell does that mean?!" the duo questioned him.
"We did pretty well, all things considered," James said.
"I know right, we didn't get one shotted or anything like that," Jessie said.
"They are right, you did well. Keep going at it," Wes said.
"They had my back there, so they are useful," N said.
"Of course, we want to make our new boss proud," the trio said.
"Dismiss," Wes said as everyone departed for Lillie is beside Wes to give him bedroom eyes.
"So, about that kiss from earlier. What does it mean to you?" she asked.
"It means I want you to be my girlfriend. What do you say?" he asked as Lillie feels like she can cry right now. "Oh, did I do something wrong Princess?" he asked as she is shedding tears of joy.
"No, I am very happy. I am just overwhelmed with emotions, I am grateful. You have chosen me to be your partner/lover," Lillie is over the moon with this as she gives him a big wet kiss on the lips. She felt his arms around her waist to be pulled in closer to deepen their kiss.
"Oh, isn't that cute," Jessie teases them as Lillie pulls away to be embarrassed by this.
"Jessie, were you watching us?" she asked.
"How can I help it, it's so cute. It reminds me of my younger days," Jessie said.
"Well, you know, Lillie is special to me. So, treat her like you treat me," Wes said.
"Yes boss," Jessie said as she goes off with Lillie feeling so happy right now.
"Let's do our best together," Lillie said giving him a big hug. "We should spend some time in the town of Gladwell together. It can be a little date for us, giving us some time to relax," she said.
"Sounds good to me Princess," Wes said as they go back home.
"Oh Wes, I will make you proud to be your girlfriend," she thought as they go inside for Lillie is very happy with the results.
