Rosie was helping Hayley get ready for her first date with Pierce.

"I cant believe they are actually letting me go on a date with him." Hayley said

"Why not? He's a good guy." Rosie said

"Well yes. But I mean date in general. I thought there was no way that would happen before I'm sixteen." Hayley said

"Well. Clearly they trust you so don't worry about that just don't break any of the rules for dating which I assume are similar to if not the same as mine." Rosie said

"I was told it's the same." Hayley said

Rosie nodded as she finished straightening Hayley's hair. "Looks good."

Hayley looked before starting on her make up.

"We will have to do a double date sometime." Rosie said

"Yes!" Hayley said

"And I'm guessing you will do double dates with Tay and Nate." Rosie said

Hayley smiled. "Maybe we could do triple dates."

"That would be great too." Rosie said

"Is it weird that I am dating someone older than you?" Hayley asked

"They are the same age." Rosie said

"But Nolan is a Junior with you…" Hayley said

"He was held back a year. He is seventeen." Rosie said

"I would say he is smarter than you. How did he possibly get held back?" Hayley asked

"Wasn't about his intelligence. You will have to ask him for more details if you want to know." Rosie said

Hayley nodded "Got it."

"But yes he is seventeen. So they are the same age." Rosie said

"Okay." Hayley said as she finished her makeup.

"So dinner and the arcade?" Rosie asked

"Yes." Hayley said with a smile.

"Where is he taking you for dinner?" Rosie asked

Hayley told her what restaurant.

"Ooh. That's a good one." Rosie said

"You've been to so many in the area haven't you?" Hayley asked

"Yes. When Nolan and I are both big foodies new restaurants are a normal thing for us to do on dates. I think it started because he was trying everything to help me when I was dealing with my anorexia." Rosie said

Hayley smiled and nodded.

She went into her bedroom and got dressed before coming out in a skirt and pretty blouse.

"You look great. Pierce is going to be stunned in a good way." Rosie said

Hayley chuckled. There was a knock on the door she went to go.

Rosie grabbed Hayley. "Let dad or papa answer it."

Hunter opened it and talked to Pierce for a couple minutes before Hayley went down the stairs.

"Wow. You look. Wow." Pierce said

Hayley smiled "Thank you. You look good too."

"Thank you." Pierce said.

Dave held up a camera. "Did it to Rosie and Nolan too." He said

Rosie giggled from the top of the stairs.

Hayley and Pierce got close together, and Dave took the picture before the couple left to head out for their date.

Pierce opened the car door for her, and Hayley got in.

He went around and got in and started the drive.

"How was your day?" Pierce asked

"It was good. Yours?" Hayley asked

"Pretty good. Worked the early shift." He said

"You like the job?" Hayley asked

Pierce shrugged. "It's a job. Starting to save for university."

"Didn't you get a scholarship?" Hayley asked

"Yes. Partial scholarship. Tuition only. I will have to cover living expenses. I am trying to get other scholarships but just covering my bases." Pierce said

"And your final choice of university?" Hayley asked

"Penn state. The best school I got into when you weight education and football. And the one that offered me the best scholarship." Pierce said

Hayley nodded "It's a really good school. They have a good engineering program?"

"Very good." Pierce said, "You remember what I plan to study?"

"Of course. You're my friend." Hayley said

"What about you do you know what you want to study?" Pierce asked

"Not even a little." Hayley said

Pierce nodded. "Yeah. I didn't know freshman year either. You will figure it out."

"When did you figure it out?" Hayley asked

"Last year." Pierce said

Hayley nodded.

They kept talking when they got to the restaurant Pierce opened her car door for her and they went inside and were seated. He had made a reservation. They kept talking. They already knew each other so they got creative with questions.

They went to the arcade after dinner and had a good time. Hayley kept winning at game and she looked over at him eyes narrowed. "You better not be letting me win everything."

Pierce chuckled "That obvious?"

"Yes." Hayley said shaking her head.

"Okay. I'm sorry." Pierce said

They kept playing Pierce stopped letting her win and they ended up both winning some games. When it got close to time to get her home they headed out towards his car. He opened the door for her again and she smiled getting into his car.

They started the drive back to her place.

"How is your mom doing?" Pierce asked

"Better. Still has a way to go but the tumor is gone. Her memories are coming back." Hayley said

"Glad to hear it." Pierce said with a smile

"I have never asked. How did your dad die?" Hayley asked

"He had lung cancer, he ended up with pneumonia and that in the end is what caused him to pass." Pierce said

"Wow. I'm sorry." Hayley said

"Thanks." Pierce said

They slowly started to drive past a car accident. There was a car that had clearly been on fire and Hayley's heart stopped when she saw what was left of the licence plate. It was Rosie's car.

"That's Rose's car!" Hayley said looking around to look for Rosie. Pierce pulled over as soon and he could and the two got out and ran to the yellow tape where a cop was standing.

"That's far enough." The cop said

"That's my sisters car!" Hayley screamed in tears

While they were out Dave asked Rosie to go to the store to get a few things for breakfast the next morning. Sunday's were big family breakfasts in their home, and he needed a few thing. Rosie went and on the way back she ended up getting sideswiped.

She was a little in shock, but she started to smell the gas burning and before she could even thing about it someone pulled her out of the car, but she didn't see who it was being in shock. They got her out just before the flames got hotter

Rosie was standing there watching her car burn before she was grabbed her and pulled further away.

"It could blow up." The female voice said. As she said that the car blew.

Rosie stood far enough back just watching it until police and fire showed up and got to work. She was standing there almost still till she heard a voice she recognized. She looked over to where the voice was coming from and ran over.

"Hals. I'm okay." Rosie said hugging her sister.

Hayley hugged her back tight. When the embrace was broken Rose looked up at Pierce.

"You sure your okay?" Pierce asked

"Yes." Rosie said

"Have you been checked over?" Pierce asked

"No. I'm fine." Rosie said

"Have you called dad or papa?" Hayley asked

"No. My phone was in the car." Rosie said.

Hayley took out her phone and handed it to Rosie.

Rosie took it and called dad.

"Hey Hals, you on your way home?" Dave asked

"Daddy its Rosie I was in an accident. I'm okay. Car is totaled. But I'm okay. Hayley and Pierce are here. They must have been passing the accident when they saw my car." Rosie said telling him where the accident is.

"Put the phone on speaker." Dave said as he headed for the door.

Rosie did so.

"Pierce. Does she seem okay to you?" Dave asked

"You don't believe me?" Rosie asked clearly annoyed.

"No. I don't. When it comes to your wellbeing you lie. All the time." Dave said

Rosie sighed

"She seems okay sir. But she has said she hasn't been checked out by the paramedics who are here." Pierce said, "And are actually walking over here right now."

"Rose. I am on my way. I need you to let them check you over." Dave said

"Daddy." She said softly in tears.

"I know bambina. I will be there soon. I love you." He said.

"Love you too daddy." She said before they hung up.

The paramedic heard the tail end of the conversation. "Come on. It will just be a quick check over and if you are okay. I will clear you to go home with your dad when he gets here."

Rosie let out a breath

"You know dad will kick your butt if you don't." Hayley said

Rosie chuckled. "Yes he will." She went with the paramedic and sat on a stretcher, and she started to check her over.

"Is the other driver okay?" Rosie asked

"All I can tell you is he is on the way to the hospital." The paramedic told her.

The police came over to her.

"Is she alright?" The officer asked

"Seems to be." The paramedic said

"It wasn't my fault." Rosie said

"I know." The officer said "The other driver was clearly drunk. Everyone I have spoken to said you were turning on the turning light and the other drive drove straight through. I'm just glad that you made it out of this uninjured. I'm sure your parents will be too."

Rosie nodded. "My dad is on the way here."

"Okay. And what is your name?" He asked

"Rosie Rossi." She said

The officer looked at her. "Agent Rossi's daughter?"

"Yes sir." Rosie said

"I have worked with your dad a few times." The officer said

Rosie nodded abit. "He has worked with a lot of police."

"Want to tell me what happened?" The officer asked

Rosie told him her point of view what happened.

"Follow my light." The paramedic said when she was done.

Rosie did so.

"Okay. You seem okay. But if something started to hurt you need to go to the hospital." The paramedic said

"Okay." Rosie said

"I'll make sure she does." Dave said as he came over and hugged her tight.

Rosie hugged him and broke down sobbing.

"Its okay bambina. You are okay. That's all that matters." He said softly.

Rosie calmed down after a few minutes.

Dave looked at the officer and recognized him and said hello.

"Agent Rossi. Just to make sure its clear this accident was not her fault in anyway." The officer said

"Call me Dave and okay good." He said kissing her head.

"Okay. The other driver was drunk. He will be charged." The officer said

Dave took a breath to control the anger.

"As a father myself I get why you are angry. But you have to let us deal with him. You make sure you daughter is okay and deal with the insurance. We will deal with the charges against him." The officer said

"My daughter could have died tonight." Dave said anger still evident.

"I know. Trust me. I know. And I promise you I will do everything in my power to make sure he gets the highest charges possible. But if you interfere it could make it harder for those charges to stick." The officer said

"Please daddy." Rosie said in tears

"Okay. Okay. I will let you handle it." Dave said hugging Rosie again.

He looked at the paramedic. "I need your recommendation. Should I take her to the hospital?"

"She has no signs of a concussion. She says she didn't hit her head. She doesn't seem to be moving in anyway to show pain. I'm sure she will be sore tomorrow. And as she comes out of the shock and the adrenalin she could end up with being more hurt than it seems but I there is nothing that shows the need for immediate attention." The paramedic said. "My recommendation. Get her home to bed."

"Okay." Dave said he looked at the officer. "Any other questions?"

"Not at the moment. Can I get a number to call if I do?" The officer asked

Dave looked at Rosie. "You can give him yours."

"I don't have a phone anymore… It was in the car." Rosie said

"Okay. That's okay. We will get you a new one." Dave said he gave the officer his number before he and Rosie went over to her car.

"Where is Hayley?" Rosie asked

"I told Pierce to take her home when I got here." Dave said

Rosie nodded and got into the car.

Dave got in as well and started for home.

"I almost died daddy. I got out of the car, and it blew basically just as I got far enough away…" Rosie said

Dave let out a breath. "But you got out. That's all that matters." Dave said

"Someone pulled me out of the car. I know they did but I don't really remember seeing anyone. Same person pulled me further away from the car when I was to in shock to move. But I just heard a voice… Its weird." Rosie said

"Trauma. It does that. Its normal to have lapses in memory with accident." Dave said

"Will I ever remember?" Rosie asked

"Some people do. Some don't." Dave said, "Don't worry about that right now."

Rosie nodded abit and closed her eyes.

"Tired?" He asked

"Very." Rosie said.

He pulled in at home and they went inside, and Hunter came to the door. Dave had told him what was going on as he had left. He wrapped Rosie in a hug.

Rosie hugged him. "I'm okay. Just tired."

"What happened?" He asked

"Other driver was drunk." Rosie said

Hunter shook his head and just held her.

"Papa. Really. I'm okay." Rosie said

Hunter let her go. "Okay. Sorry. Just glad to see you are okay."

"Paramedic said she was cleared of anything needing immediate attention but to keep an eye on how her body react when she comes out of the shock. And that she will likely be sore." Dave said

"Okay." Hunter said

Sascha was all over her. He could tell something was wrong and she was not okay.

"Can I go to bed now?" Rosie asked

"Go ahead." Dave said.

Rosie went upstairs and found Hayley in her room. She sighed.

"I'm sorry. I just want to make sure you are really okay." Hayley said

"I'm fine. Just tired." Rosie said "Can you do me a favor? Text Noel for me. Tell him what happened and that my phone is gone. Tell him I'm okay. I just don't want him to find out any other way. And it wasn't my fault the other driver was drunk."

"Done." Hayley said she gave her a hug and left her room before she started the text.

'Rose asked me to text you as her phone was in the car. She was in an accident tonight. She is okay. She was not at fault. The other driver was drunk. She is home now. She is just tired. She just didn't want you to find out any other way. I'm sure if you want you can come over tomorrow to see her.' Hayley sent.

Nolan got the text and quickly texted back

'You sure she is okay? Checked by a doctor or something?'

Hayley got the text and smiled. 'Yes. The paramedic at the scene. Must have cleared her for dad to bring her home. Pierce and I drove by the accident on the way home from our date and I saw her car. Well what's left of it. I promise you she is okay. But I think she is pretty lucky to be alive. The only way I really knew it was her car was the licence plate that was held on by basically nothing.' She sent

'I will be over tomorrow morning 9. Don't care if she is awake.' Nolan sent

Hayley chuckled 'Okay. You can be the one to wake her up than. But she should be awake. Since we eat breakfast at ten on Sundays you should know that.' She sent with a smirk emoji

'Ha ha. Will be there at nine. Make sure your parents know.' He sent before they both went to bed.
