Boyzilla: Hakuno is a treat in any High-tech crossover. No 'ordinary' computer can resist a Spiritron Hacker. Can you imagine if she takes over the Replicators... those of Othala galaxy or Pegasus?

lordorphen17: Ba'al is one of my favorite Stargate's characters and my favorite Goa'uld.

fg7dragon: It's a parallel universe and SG-1 has had less success in the fight against the Goa'uld since season 4.

Ultimate Warrior of Zera: "I'm scared of what will happen if Gil finds out Hakuno was locked up." Uh... archaeologists of the future will discover Atlantis completely destroyed and wonder how a city that survived millions of years of disaster and war could disappear in a single day. Oops!

Dogoid: Sorry English is not my native language.

Lord Ba'al

On planet P3S-346

Teal'c took refuge for a moment behind one of the pillars supporting the ceiling. A golden plasma ball passed in front of him with a 'whuzz' before leaving a black impact on the metal partition.

Behind the pillar on the other side, Jack O'Neill showed up for a brief moment and fired a burst of bullets that sparkled on the chest of a Jaffa who had just shown up. The alien uttered a cry, beating the air with his arms before falling back the chest pierced with impacts.

The colonel turned to Dr. Jackson.

"Daniel, I don't think it's a good idea to stay here."

"Really?" replied the archaeologist, firing twice with his Zat toward an enemy and electrifying a pillar of metal. I thought we could stay for tea with the Jaffa while we wait for Ba'al."

"No, I'm not really a tea drinker, plus the Big Bad Ba'al seems to lose hair every time we meet. If I continue, his Jaffa will call him Ba'ald. What if you open the door to Earth?"

"Well, I hadn't thought of it," Jackson laughingly replied.

As the archaeologist fired again towards the Jaffa sheltered behind the nearest pillar, Samantha Carter opened fire, forcing two other enemies to retreat.

"Daniel, I got your back."

"Thank you, Sam!"

One of the Jaffa advanced and fired toward Jackson, but the shot passed near his shoulder without touching him. The alien collapsed with his chest pierced by a smoking crater as Teal'c lowered his Staff weapon.

Opening a Stargate vortex was not instantaneous. It required dialing the address of another site on the DHD. Among SG teams, it took an average of 35 seconds to dial an address. Daniel Jackson needed only 22 seconds. As a result, it was usually he who opened the doors... at least when they had to leave quickly.

Daniel holstered his Zat and began to compose the Earth's address when he realized that Gilgamesh had joined him. The Sumerian demigod watched the chevrons lock without emotion and did not even jump when a geyser came out of the circle to be replaced by a kind of water mirror.

While Daniel used the "garage door opener" to send the Iris Deactivation Code, Gilgamesh nodded.

"I see, a means of transport creating a shortcut in space-time. Interesting."

Jackson had no time to worry about Gilgamesh. He turned to his friends to yell at them to fall back. Seeing that his friends picked up, covering each over, he breathed a sigh of relief before responding quickly to the demigod.

"You should come with us. Ba'al is not a very accommodating individual."

Gilgamesh replied with a disgusted pout.

"Ba'al Hammon? The Carthaginian god?"

"Uh... yes... I mean, I mean no." Rushed by time, anxious, Daniel answered awkwardly. "He's a Goa'uld." Seeing that Gilgamesh did not understand, Daniel looked at him strangely. "Your Majesty had never heard of the Goa'uld?"

"No."

"Well, Ba'al is an impersonator, a kind of parasite that occupies a human host... someone who claims to be a god."

Surprisingly, the strange character burst out laughing, visibly amused.

Samantha was the first to arrive near the Stargate. Putting one knee to the ground, she changed the magazine of her P-90 and fired short bursts towards the corridor.

"Let's get out of here," shouted Jack, "I don't know why, but the Jaffa seems in a bad mood."

"Maybe because you killed several of them, O'Neill," suggested T'ealc raising an eyebrow.

With his hands in his pockets, Gilgamesh shook his head with visible irritation. Above him appeared several golden openings. And four swords came out of these tears in reality... huge swords, bigger than an adult man. Catapulted at high speed, the huge swords stuck themselves in the metal floor... completely blocking the corridor.

"Now that you are not in a hurry, answer my questions."

Gilgamesh spoke in a commanding tone. And it was clear that SG-1 could not leave until they responded to the great king of Uruk.

While Jack spoke on the radio with General George S. Hammond, explaining what had just happened; Carter and Jackson took turns to give some explanations to Gilgamesh.

The demigod was interested in the Stargates, the Goa'uld... but especially in the Ancients. He insisted that he was looking for someone.

Gilgamesh turned to Sam.

"So the Ancients are no longer in this galaxy, but there are ruins of their civilization all over the Milky Way?"

'Yes, that's right. We found the most recent ruins of their civilization in the Pegasus Galaxy, but here too they are extinct. There may be Ancients in other galaxies as they were allied with the Asgard native of Othala."

"On how many planets?"

"Well... " Sam hesitated. " The Stargates' first eight chevrons offer 72 million possibilities. And there's a ninth chevron... we don't know what it's for." The scientist sought to be reassuring, "But there are probably not as many colonies of the Ancients."

The face of the demigod showed a helpless fury.

"Hakuno!"

Daniel Jackson and Jack O'Neill exchanged a look. They knew what it was like to look for a relative. For Daniel, the searches for Sha're even ended in a horrible way when his wife tried to kill him under the control of the Goa'uld who possessed her.

Hearing the impact of Ma'tok Staff against the swords closing the entrance, O'Neill became increasingly nervous.

He raised his arms to the sky in a posture of exaggerated helplessness.

"Well, sorry. We can't help you any more than that. We are expected on our planet and our 'friends' at the entrance seem very very very impatients. So... unless you have something else to ask us?" But the colonel didn't wait for the answer and quickly added, "Nothing? Good, tomorrow is my day off and I have a date with a pike this big in Oklahoma. Well, bye-bye and see you again."

Seeing Jack walking towards the Stargate, Samantha Carter seemed surprised.

"Wait, we can't leave Gilgamesh here!"

Taking Samantha by the arm, O'Neill showed the opened stargate.

"That's where we're going, Major. Our new friend doesn't need our help and General Hammond doesn't want us to bring him to Earth."

Indeed, George Hammond did not appreciate a lot some visitors. This wouldn't be the first time an alien on Earth has served as Troyan Horse. Little Cassandra, the only survivor of her people, had carried in her a biological weapon created by the evil Nirrti. Even the peaceful Tollans had been a source of trouble, not to mention the Reetous.

Teal'c and Daniel followed their leader. The archaeologist hesitated briefly before crossing the ring of the gods.

"I hope you find your friend."

But Gilgamesh did not reply. Once again, he had forgotten them.

The liquid interface of the Stargate disappeared and the chevrons went out.

Gilgamesh remained alone to think.

A few minutes later, an explosion made the room vibrate. Part of the wall disintegrated destroyed by a Staff Cannon brought by the Jaffa. Through the molted opening, a dozen aliens in chainmail and skullcaps burst in. They were holding Ma'tok Staffs or Zak'nik'tels in their hands, looking for enemies.

Gilgamesh remained motionless, still immersed in his thoughts, he let himself be surrounded without making a move.

An officer bearing the mark of his god engraved in silver on his forehead and a cape of silver cloth arrogantly approached this 'Tau'ri'.

"Benna! Ya wan ya duru!" (1)

Gilgamesh didn't speak the Goa'uld dialect. But he didn't need it to understand when someone deserved a lesson.

About ten golden openings appeared around the Jaffa and the aliens collapsed, pierced in the chest by swords, spears, or halberds.

The other Jaffa returned fire with their Staffs and even the Staff Cannon but Gilgamesh materialized several shields that stopped the shots before retaliating ruthlessly, Killing all the opponents present with weapons from Gate of Babylon.

Orbiting P3S-346

Three Ha'tak were stationary over the northern continent.

These Goa'uld's Motherships were very easy to recognize. Seen from the side, the central tetrahedron of the Ha'tak (reminiscent of an Egyptian pyramid) seemed to pierce a hollow superstructure. Nevertheless, when viewed from above, it was clear that two of the vessels had a rounded superstructure while the central pyramid was yellow. They were Ha'tak Transport, 600 meters apart. The third had an angular outer structure and its central pyramid was more orange-yellow. It was a Combat Ha'tak. (2) He was a little larger, 700 meters wide.

But this Combat Ha'tak was not an ordinary one. The central pyramid was adorned with the symbol of Ba'al above the Pel' tak (the bridge).

The flagship of the living god had benefited from Ba'al's alliance with Anubis. This 'descended' Goa'uld had acquired some of the technological knowledge of the Ancients and the ships coming out of the Anubis factories had much more powerful shields as well as Staffs Cannons capable of penetrating the Asgard shields.

Sitting on a white marble throne, dressed in a beautiful blue velvet dress, Ba'al was meditating looking at P3S-346 through the Pel'tak's bay window. His hand clad in a Kara kesh supported his chin covered with a short dark beard.

Although he had no affection for Anubis, Ba'al had joined his fight against the Systemlords council simply to expand his domain, suppress his rivals and then eliminate Anubis before unifying the Goa'uld under his banner.

Ambitious, isn't it?

But when one was a god it was normal to aim at omnipotence.

That said, for now, total domination was just a pleasant dream. First, Apophis and the other Systemlords were not defeated, then Anubis was... different. Defeated, banished, this Goa'uld had disappeared for thousands of years. And during that time he had learned advanced technologies but also... something else... a strange form of power: Ascension!

If Ba'al wanted to usurp the power of Anubis he had to find a way to eliminate the malefic Goa'uld 'ghost' and it was difficult to kill a pure... err... unclean spirit.

For the time being, Ba'al was to play the role of the faithful second in command, but a Goa'uld as proud as Ba'al felt this was a form of slavery, and that outraged him.

A beep sounds making the false god shudder.

One of the two Jaffa standing in front of the computer terminal turned towards his master.

"Divinity, one of your humble servants wants to contact you."

Ba'al's eyes lit up with yellow light as he answered with this strange voice, so characteristic of individuals 'possessed' by a Goa'uld parasite.

"All right, I'll allow it."

The triangular porthole in the center of the window appeared to turn into mercury and an image appeared, a terrified Jaffa.

"My lord."

"Have you come to announce the capture of SG-1?"

Given the Jaffa's obvious terror, it probably wasn't... but Ba'al had to hope.

"My lord, SG-1 fled through the Chappa'ai (Stargate), we were unable to stop them."

The Jaffa seemed ready to throw himself to the ground to ask forgiveness from his god but... Ba'al may have been cruel or even sadistic, but he was too smart to let anger control him.

"What happened," he asked in an almost gentle voice.

"A stranger, my lord... we thought he was an ordinary Tau'ri... he used swords sprang from nothing, and killed the Jaffa who attacked him. We fought but... but... our weapons didn't hurt him."

Ba'al opened big eyes full of surprise and his hands shook on the armrests of his throne

Swords coming out of nothingness? Hiding his discomfort under an apparent relaxation, the Goa'uld asked questions about the phenomenon, the gold discs that appeared in the air, and the attacks.

The stranger was certainly not a Tau'ri, because no human had slit eyes.

Ba'al was experiencing conflicting emotions.

His first impulse was to order his three Ha'taks to bomb the ruins of the Ancients. But if he destroyed everything he would never know if the stranger was dead and even who he was. Then... well Anubis had sent him to seize the ruins. Returning empty-handed would make him lose influence with his... suzerain.

According to the description of the events reported by the survivor, the foreigner attacked his Jaffa only after being threatened.

Maybe he could talk to this... man?

After spending his anger on the Jaffa, Gilgamesh felt emptied.

He was no more advanced than before, still not knowing where to go since his Master could be on any of the planets connected to the Stargate network but also on any ship or space station abandoned by the Ancients.

Potentially, that made tens of millions of possible destinations!

And without a Master, Gilgamesh had limited magical energy... unless he feed on human souls. One thing he'd rather avoid... Normally it didn't bother him. But since his meeting with Kishinami, whenever an idea of this kind crossed his mind, he thought about his Master's reaction and that was usually enough to prevent him from acting.

Anger came back.

Alone, unaided, weakened... and he had to accomplish a task beyond all his past exploits.

A noise made him turn around.

A Jaffa had just entered the room. He was not holding a weapon in his hands, only a small metal sphere on a tripod. The alien looked at Gilgamesh and placed the sphere on the ground before leaving the room backward... but much faster than he had entered.

This made the King of Heroes smile. As always he saw fear in others' eyes as recognition of his power.

With a click, the top of the sphere opened up a bit like a blossoming flower. Out came a reddish ray that flared to form a 3D image, of a man dressed in a blue velvet dress, with slightly curly hair, a well-trimmed beard, and matte skin.

"Chel hol mak tal shree Ba'al!" (3)

The Vo'cume (holographic projector) allowed a first contact with Gilgamesh.

Ba'al opted for a direct approach, explaining that his Jaffa had mistaken him for a Tau'ri, his enemies. He offered his apologies... of course, the Goa'uld hated to apologize. Nevertheless, objectively, this 'Gilgamesh' felt insulted. He was not a defenseless and superstitious primitive. Moreover, the stranger did not hesitate to kill those who lacked respect. Acknowledging his wrongs seemed the only way to defuse Gilgamesh's hostility.

The foreigner had given his name, presenting himself as the First King of Humanity. Ba'al had a smirking smile, who was he to be ironic about the titles of others?

The Goa'uld in turn introduced himself without using the word 'god'... it impressed the primitive, but Ba'al felt that Gilgamesh would mock him if he dared speak of his 'divinity'.

And it turned out to be a good idea... Gilgamesh briefly mentioned SG-1 and what these hated Tau'ri had said about the Goa'uld...

Ba'al lost his smile when Gilgamesh said what he thought of the Goa'uld... because the King of Heroes did not hide his contempt under diplomatic formulas. Fortunately, the false god was alone in his chambers, having even ordered his Lo'taur (trusted human servant) to walk away.

His smile came back... not that he was having fun, but Ba'al did not want to lose face. He shrugged his shoulders as if with disdain.

"I don't think I'm a god. Some of my own kind take too seriously this lie that we invented to take control of primitives. One can fight a tyrant... but no one fight against a god that promises paradise in the afterlife to the sinner as a reward for their devotion. The Goa'uld were already pretending to be gods before I even took my first host. I had no choice about it. I had to do the same if I wanted to fight my rivals. So I did... even though deep down I have contempt for the idiots who really think they're gods and even more contempt for the primitives who believe in our supposed divinity."

Ba'al paused for a moment to smile mockingly and then sighed...

"I am a parasite. But my intelligence is far superior to that of humans. I have a genetic memory that gives me the technological knowledge of my ancestors. And in my original form, I have no hands to use my vast knowledge and intelligence. Is it not normal for a person with great power to use it? Is it not normal to take what we need to live? And I needed that body. Is that wrong?"

The false god burst out laughing.

"Good and evil are abstract concepts... necessity is much more real. And what is necessary? Survive, and then thrive. Is it selfish? Probably! But conquer, enrich, dominate, everyone wants the same thing, right? Well, I was born into a feudal society where I had to dominate or serve... or even perish. I survived. I am not ashamed of what I did for this. After all, I did not start the Goa'uld's empire or write its rules. And even if the world is despicable, repugnant, then it is better to be king of this despicable world than a slave, isn't it, King of Heroes?"

The tyrant of Uruk simply nodded.

He enjoyed the conversation with Ba'al. This parasite was an arrogant and rather despicable little fellow... a perfect mongrel... but at least he was frank. And the fact that he dares to speak like an equal with the only king was something refreshing.

He even thought he was smart enough to try to manipulate... the one and only king himself?

Gilgamesh burst out laughing.

For the first time since he arrived on this shabby planet, Gilgamesh no longer felt frustrated or angry. His 'new friend' did everything possible to amuse him and it was not difficult to understand why. Ba'al wanted to use him... The Goa'uld had to be an idiot to believe he could manipulate the king. But the king was happy with the false god's little circus act. Gilgamesh had always been attracted to twisted, unhealthy people... and Ba'al was arrogant, cruel, and power-hungry, yet cunning, manipulative, and charismatic.

An interesting cocktail.

"To make up for my Jaffa attack, maybe I can do something in return."

Ba'al smiled with a winning air, trying to give the impression of being sincerely eager to help the king, except Gilgamesh wasn't fooled. It was just a way for Ba'al to know the reasons for his presence on this planet.

The First King was obviously not going to trust Ba'al. Except that a few minutes earlier Gilgamesh lamented at the magnitude of his task... Reluctantly, he began to speak.

"I'm looking for someone. Her name is Hakuno Kishinami. I arrived following the same signal as her except... that signal disappeared before I could find her. My only clue is that this signal was sent by an automatic installation belonging to the Ancients."

The Goa'uld seemed to be thinking. Finally, he chose a cautious response.

"The Ancients dominated a large number of planets before they disappeared. It's a monumental task to find this Hakuno Kishinami with so few clues. Nevertheless, I control hundreds of planets and have agents on many others. King Gilgamesh, even if you traveled for centuries from one world to another, you couldn't visit as many wolrds as I could contact in a week."

Ba'al had a little smile of contentment.

"In addition, I am currently the right hand of a powerful Goa'uld lord eager to become our new pharaoh. He knows a lot about the Ancients but doesn't like to share his secrets. Perhaps you could help me... how can I put it?... 'convince' Lord Anubis to share his knowledge with us?"

Gilgamesh smiled in turn, amused by the way the discussion evolved.

The King of Heroes was very intrigued by the offer. He wanted to see how far Ba'al would dare to go. And then...

"A source of knowledge about the Ancients?"

"Anubis' flagship contains a computer with all the knowledge he stole from the Ancients," Ba'al replied. "It is a database containing up-to-date data, unlike the computers in these ruins that haven't had an update for millions of years."

Ba'al wanted to use the one and only king to foment a coup ? What nerve! But the king allows it because with this mongrel's little help he can find Hakuno.

Besides, it promised to be fun.

Gilgamesh liked to watch the effect of passions on those who sought to satisfy the appetites that gnawed them from the inside... few people did not let themselves be devoured.

Cheyenne Mountain Complex, Colorado, Earth.

The SGC was a network of tunnels and rooms dug under the mountain. It was a maze of grey concrete with cable sheaths and pipes on the ceiling. The only traces of color were the doors painted so as to differentiate their use and the lines drawn on the ground to guide the newcomers.

Level 27 was the second-last underground level. That was where General Hammond's office and the Briefing room were.

A large bay window from this room allowed looking at the Stargate on the lower level. Otherwise, the furniture was limited to a large table where eight people could sit, a smaller table with a coffee machine, and a desk. On two of the walls, one could see maps of the galaxy drawn on transparent glass panels, with indicators for all the planets visited.

On the third wall was the coat of arms of Stargate Command.

Hammond acquiesced slowly as he listened to the end of O'Neill's report. He turned to Daniel.

"Dr. Jackson, could you tell us what history and legends say about this Gilgamesh."

The archaeologist stood up in his chair, readjusting his glasses.

"Uh yeah... let me have a moment." He tapped some keys of his laptop connected to a screen in one of the walls of the room. An image appeared, the photo of a very old statuette representing a bearded man with a tiara and holding in an arm a lion that he was choking.

"Gilgamesh or more exactly BÌ GA MÈŠ - which means 'the ancestor is a hero/young man' in Sumerian - is a king of Sumer. According to the Sumerian royal list he reigned for 126 years over the city of Kulan. The epic of Gilgamesh, the oldest epic poem of mankind, says that he would have been the king of Uruk and son of a Sumerian goddess and therefore a demigod. This text depicts him as a cruel tyrant who cares only about himself. Nevertheless, he would have opposed the goddess Ishtar. She would have avenged herself by killing Gilgamesh's only friend, Enkidu. This made Gilgamesh realize that he was mortal. Caught in a terror of death, the king would have left Uruk in search of the herb of immortality, a quest he succeeded in... but the grass was then stolen from him by the Serpent... "

"Ouch... there had to be bone. Why does it have to be another snake?"

Samantha smiles as O'Neill raises his eyes to heaven.

Daniel also smiled but answered the question.

"This primordial Serpent appears in many myths. It is Apophis among the Egyptians..."

"Oh, him again!"

"Yes again," confirmed the archaeologist. "But it is also the Serpent that tempts Eve in the Bible. He is the Enemy par excellence."

General Hammond took the floor again.

"And what happens to Gilgamesh after that?"

'Well, he realizes he hasn't behaved very well. He returns to Uruk and reigned the rest of his life as a wise and benevolent king before dying without an heir, mourned by all his people. The epilogue of the Gilgamesh epic tells of his arrival in the underworld where the gods welcome him among them. Ruins of several temples dedicated to a god of death called Gilgamesh have been found in Iraq."

"Teal'c has you heard of this Gilgamesh?"

The Jaffa raised an eyebrow when he heard General Hammond's question.

"I have not heard any Jaffa legend mentioning a Goa'uld by that name. On the other hand, there was a Goa'uld named Ishtar, but she was killed by Marduk several thousand years ago."

Carter nodded slowly.

"Have you seen his eyes? He has vertical pupils like a cat or a snake. I don't think this Gilgamesh is human. Maybe we should go back to P2X-338 to look at Marduk's ziggurat searching for clues on Gilgamesh, maybe something got out of hand."

"Oh, the planet where we had to help the Russians!? This is a place where I have no desire to go back. But it's true that Daniel didn't stay long to look at the inscriptions. We were quickly very busy with the snake that had entered Major Serguei Vallin's head." (4)

This remark awakened Daniel from his day's dream.

"I remind you that the Sumerians were educated by aliens who opposed the Goa'uld, the Ohnes." (5)

"But he's not an Ohne," replied Hammond.

"No, of course, but I meant that other aliens may have come to Earth to oppose the Goa'uld. Little is known about the events of this period."

Carter shook her head.

"Daniel, Gilgamesh had never heard of the Goa'uld."

"Yes, I recognize that this contradicts my theory."

For once, O'Neill spoke without humor.

"All we know about Gilgamesh is that we don't know anything. Carter, do you have any idea how he can throw swords like that?"

The young woman shrugged.

"The golden openings look like hyperspace windows, suggesting the swords come from another place. But we've never been able to create hyperspace windows that are so small and stable... it seems a physical impossibility. A window this size collapses after only a few seconds."

"In fact, Jack, we know one thing about him... in fact, two things," Daniel said. "He's looking for a person named Hakuno Kishinami and she is linked to the technology of the Ancients."

Dr. Jackson took a moment to reflect then spoke again.

"As an archaeologist, I am shocked by the gigantic swords used by Gilgamesh. Didn't something seem strange to you?

"Their gigantic size" suggested O'Neill, who received a nod of approval from Teal'c.

'Yes, of course... which raises some questions about the origin of these swords. The Jewish Bible, the cabbala, but also Scandinavian and Greeks myths mention that giants had roamed the Earth."

That remark made Carter smile.

"Daniel, it's impossible, a bipedal cannot exceed two and a half meters on Earth. It's a matter of gravitation."

"Actually, that's not what I meant. You didn't recognize that kind of sword?"

"I remember seeing similar swords on Cimmeria," Carter replied.

'Exactly, despite their huge size, the swords that Gilgamesh used were Viking swords, exactly X-type swords according to the Oakeshott typology. Why does a Sumerian king use Scandinavian medieval swords?"

They spoke for a few more minutes but without adding any new elements.

Hammon got up and collected the reports he had laid before him.

"I will send a memo to all SG teams, to our allies in the galaxy, and to the Atlantis expedition... finally as soon as the Daedalus is back on Earth... so that this Hakuno Kishinami is wanted."

Author's note: the duo Gilgamesh-Ba'al has imposed itself on me since the first synopsis of this story. They seemed to go so well together... their alliance had so much potential as if they were meant to meet.

(1) "Kneel before your masters!" literally or "Surrender!"

(2) The Transport Ha'tak appears first in the 'Stargate SG-1' series. For example, Apophis and Klorel's Ha'taks (Episode 2.1 "The Snake's Lair") are Transport Ha'taks. Later in the series, The Transport Ha'taks completely disappear and were replaced by the Combat Ha'taks. Nevertheless, canonically, these two versions of the Ha'tak have been working together for over 10,000 years.

As for the differences between the two versions... all the information found in the Stargate encyclopedia actually refers to the 'Combat Hat'ak'. The only information I found on the 'Ha'tak Transport' indicates that these motherships serve as troops transport and can accommodate many more Jaffas.

The following is not Canon; it's just my thoughts after looking at the plans of the two Ha'tak models.

Naqadah generators, shield generators, antigravity propulsion, hyperspace generators, Death Gliders' hangar, and crew quarters are in the central pyramid.

The armament (60 Staff Cannons) is in the superstructure.

- The Transport Ha'tak has a pyramid of the same size as the Combat Ha'tak... but has a larger crew. It makes sense that larger crew quarters take up more internal space... and therefore other facilities are reduced in size. So the shield, the generators, and the propulsion are less powerful. Note: the number of Death Gliders carried by the two types of Ha'tak seems identical. In fact, it varies from one Ha'tak to another. Some Ha'tak sacrifices part of their hangar space to transport Tel'taks while others have only Death Gliders. Nevertheless, the ships are supposed to carry 77 Death Gliders and 18 Al'kesh- class bombers.

- The superstructures of the Transport Ha'tak are a bit smaller, so the Transport Ha'tak has either fewer Staffs Cannons or less powerful Staffs Cannons. In any case, they are powered by a smaller generator than in the Combat Ha'tak.

I logically infer that Transport Ha'tak is inferior to Combat Ha'tak in space combat.
