Chapter 10
→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Arachama ←
Arachama rested well and then ate breakfast. Today would be hard for her. But the things she would do for her children. She thought about them. Her Enti, Arche and her sister. The last one still hurt her, Ninya. But that would change soon. She had given Yuri orders and prepared herself to go to Nazarick.
Once within her "Spider Paradise" she prepared for battle. She now wore a big overcoat. It was made out of leather and had chainmail between layers of leather. It had a black coloring and her sigil in red. Her sigil was a heart with eight legs sprouting from it. She then wore bracelets on her legs. On her torso she had her robes, black and red again. She had placed her hat in her inventory, since it was only cosmetic. She styled her hair up. She bound it back into a bun on top of her head, using needles to hold her hair in place. She then took her makeup and made her face white with red eyeliner for her eight eyes.
"Looks good enough. If I have to face a strong enemy, I at least should look good doing it. I hope it will work." Arachama thought and was depressed, her Mini-Arachama in her head was burying her face between empty bottles of different alcohols.
She then moved towards Ainzs office and saw him in new robes. He now wore a brown robe and had prepared multiple items. He had multiple "Caster Hourglass" and "Friends Lifechanger" placed on the table. He gave an aura of determination.
"Good morning Monga. How did the night go with your fiance?" Arachama teased and saw the emotional suppression activate.
"You know that I can't do that to Tabulas creation." Monga replied.
"Then you will either tell her and break her heart or you will use one of the "Doppelganger Rings" and enjoy your life. I certainly do enjoy myself." Arachama smiled and saw the emotional suppression activate again.
"You would not shut up about it, would you?" Monga replied and Arachama simply giggled.
"Lets move out then" Arachama smiled.
Monga used "Gate" to a close location and Arachama summoned a "Corner Spider" and would use "Spider Paper" to track the summon.
"My little one, please write down the moves of either Monga or his foe. Thank you" Arachama ordered and kissed her summon gently, placing it on the shoulder of Monga.
"I will hear when it is over. Then I will use "Teleportation" to get to you." Arachama smiled.
"Remember. The first time you will hear the effects of "Fallen Down" is only the start. You should wait until I tell you or the paper disappears." Ainz reiterated and Arachama nodded.
She heard Monga leaving and prepared herself to fight Shalltear. She would prepare the use of debuffs, mainly against mobility. She then would wait for either Ainz to cast his super-tier magic or she could use her skill. But that would be decided then.
She knitted while waiting, relaxing her nerves and fighting the boredom. She heard the fist "Fallen Down" and shuddered. The battle ensued, its noise ringing loudly through the forest. This grim reminder gave Arachama shudders, which only calmed when she continued to knit the next pillow. She had finished her third pillow and stored it in her inventory when she heard a loud noise and felt a big amount of death further into the forest. The "Spider Paper" dissolved and Arachama knew that it was now time to engage.
She used "Teleportation" and appeared besides Monga. She saw Shalltear wearing red armor, which left openings for her face, hair and gave Shalltear two angellike wings. The eyes of Shalltear were filled with joy. Arachama also saw the area she was in. She stood in a circular desert.
"So I can not only kill one but two supreme beings?" Shalltear rejoiced.
"Who says that you will be victorious?" Arachama smiled. Shalltear was taken aback and then smirked evilly.
"I am a melee fighter while lord Ainz is a caster and you a summoner. You are practically useless in this battle while lord Ainz has a big disadvantage." Shalltear smirked.
"I see. "Summon Jorogumo" "Spider Web Embrace". Let me see how you will fare against me." Arachama smiled. A circle formed in front of her and large quantities of spider web captured Shalltear, binding her for a short time.
"Spider Web Embrace" was a tier 8 spell, which demobilized a target for a time, allowing some strategies with heavy hitters. It would also give a debuff in agility afterwards.
"Summon Jorogumo" was a tier 10 summon and would summon one of the highest spider-yokais. It had the body of a joro-spider and the alluring looks of a beautiful woman. This summon would be able to use elemental spells, buffs on friends, including healing, and curses.
Shalltears smile further developed and she began to laugh
"You are sure you want to use summons against me and my lance?" She bellowed.
"Alluring Healing" Jorogumo casted and Shalltears body began to flame up. Shocks filled the vampire.
"How did you do that much damage?" Shalltear howled, fighting the silk.
"One of my abilities strengthens spiders. It is called "Aura Of The Spider Queen", "Soul Healing Flame"" Arachama casted and Shalltear was now set ablaze. She then charged at Arachama and the Jorogumo. Damaging the summon.
"Soul Healing Flame" was a spell that would heal good beings and damage evil beings, which was determined by their karma value. Shalltear sat at minus 450. This meant that Shalltear received a substantial amount of damage, boosted since it was a fire spell and Shalltear was weak against fire, because she was an undead.
"Aura Of The Spider Queen" gave all allies a buff on their magical attack and defense, and if those allies, summoned, NPC or players were amongst the insectoid she the buff would extend to their other stats as well.
"Let's see."Spider Web Embrace"."Feeding Childrens Bite"."Greater Healing". Now we will start widdeling" Arachama smiled. Shalltear again was engulfed in silk and fought it with her might. The jorogumo meanwhile got healed by Arachama.
"Feeding Childrens Bite" would utilize spiders, who would drain HP and MP from the enemy and then give it to the user. It was a tier 9 summon-spell.
Shalltear fought against both, only freeing herself against the silk. Sadly, for Shalltear, Arachama and her summon had regenerated and Shalltear saw a new threat moving towards her.
"Pyroclastic Wave" Shalltear heard and tried to dodge as fast as she could, but the silk on her body was sticky and partly hindered her movement, resulting in an enormous amount of damage. It was expected from "Pyroclastic Wave", since it was a super-tier fire spell. It would burn or melt everything. It came with her "Mother Of Calamities"-class. While it could deal massive amounts of damage, it was easily dodged. But in combination with the debuffs on Shalltear, it was nearly guaranteed to hit home.
Shalltear roared, seemingly having lost half of her HP. She tried to charge again.
"Seems like you wasted your skill "mother amongst the supreme beings", I can get closer" Shalltear rejoiced. She charged and Arachama ordered the Jorogumo to fall a bit back. Arachama tried to evade, sadly getting hit two times.
"Now it's getting close "Absorption Cocoon"" Arachama used and saw Shalltear engulfed in a cocoon. While she was engulfed in a green aura, the cocoon would become red in color.
"Absorption Cocoon" was a tier 9 spell. It would catch the enemy in a cocoon and deal damage to the enemy. The user would get HP in the value of half the damage done to the enemy.
After a short while Shalltear broke free and tried to charge again. This time Monga jumped between Arachama and her.
""Spider Web Embrace", now she should be weakened enough" Arachama said and Monga nodded.
While Shalltear fought against the restraints, Monga prepared a cast and used "Casters Hourglass".
"Casters Hourglass" was a cash shop-item. It would allow a caster to use a spell immediately.
"Now then Shalltear. "Fallen Down"" Monga casted and Shalltear was obliterated.
"Fallen Down" was a super-tier magic spell. It would call upon a beam of light, which would burn everything. For it to work against Shalltear, they had to bring her HP low enough. Luckily they did. Once the light was gone Arachama and Monga breathed deeply. Shaltear was defeated.
"This went well. It could have gone much worse" Arachama smiled while giving Monga a reassuring hug.
"Let's hope that revival is possible. Then we look out for the ones who did that. Then we make them pay dearly" Monga replied and his red flames got bigger.
"That we will do. But before we do that. Remember the "Corner Spiders" I placed one on one soldier from the Slane Theocracy?" Arachama asked.
"We will talk in my office. It is already noon. I will order Albedo to bring something to eat for you." Monga said and they used "Gate" to get back to Mongas office.
→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Ninya ←
Ninya woke up from her bed. She hated being here and hated her new form. She wanted to be a human again, sadly this was nothing then a remote memory.
"But why shouldn't I be able to get my sister back by myself?" Ninya thought and observed the room. She saw a window, wide enough that she could squeeze right through and then run away.
She prepared herself and ran. She had stolen the key to a storage building and knew where it was. She planned on using it as a hideout until she could move around more safely. Spiderwebs made it much harder for Ninya to squeeze through the window, but she managed that and tried to run away. Luckily it was still dark outside and therefore no one saw her move through the city. She managed to move over the roofs and make as little sound as possible. Once she reached the city walls she observed for a short while until she tried to cross the walls. She wasn't seen and found the shed. Once there she felt tired and fell asleep.
Once she woke up, she observed her surroundings. She was in a storage building with barely anything in it. She tried to remember how she got here and managed to do so without any problem. Once she went through her memories she was happy to escape the insane asylum called mansion. Ninya looked for something to eat, when she heard voices outside. She moved further inside when she stumbled upon corpses covered in blood.
There were multiple corpses, most of them were men in their early twenties. There was also a family amongst them. A mother, a father and three daughters. She heard the voices coming closer and steps were now audible. She heard the lock being broken and Ninya felt her panic raised to higher levels.
"I need to hide and that better quickly" Ninya thought and began frantically searching the building for a hiding spot. She then saw a hidden floor just below the ceiling and hid there. The spot was full of dust and extremely hot, but fear kept her there. She saw multiple soldiers walk inside the room and take note of the situation. She also saw a stunning blond woman and an old man wearing the robes of a caster.
"We didn't find anything mam. We suspect that there isn't anyone here." A soldier reported and then waited for further orders.
"Continue to search. The blood is fresh and I want results." The blond ordered and then the most frightening hour of Ninyas life began. The soldiers cleaned every room of the storage building and found nothing until only the room with the corpses remained. The old man got a golden glimpse in his eyes and whispered to the blond. She nodded and smirked.
Ninya was frightened beyond the capabilities of her nerves. She needed to relieve herself and the dust and heat took a great toll on her. The soldiers began to pour inside the last remaining room. She breathed heavily, trying to keep it under control by breathing into her hands. Dust began to fill her nose and then…
"HATCHOO" Ninya sneezed so loud she could have sworn the building would collapse. The blond grinned and took the spear into her hands.
"Get Here soldiers. It looks like we found our culprit." Leinas shouted her orders while the old man retreated behind her. Ninya felt her heart sink and fear gripped it with an iron fist.
"I didn't do it." She pleaded.
"Says the monster," The old man replied.
"I am not a monster," Ninya replied.
"Sure it looks like it," Leinas replied and Ninya began to cry. She hated her new body and would give nearly everything to be human again.
"Please listen to me" Ninya pleaded again and heard an arrow fly beside her head.
"We should make more mandatory training for our Archers," the blonde said and the old man nodded.
"I will talk to the emperor about it when we bring her head to him," he replied.
Ninya was shocked and saw no other way than to fight. A battle ensued between the soldiers and Ninya. Ninya did quite well, taking out many of the soldiers. It was then that a small rout began and the soldiers fled. Ninya was exhausted and the blond closed in. Ninya tried to dodge, but got smacked in her abdomen. Pain shot through Ninya and she wanted to cry loudly and wished she had her sister here.
"Such a foolish creature" the blond remarked and smacked Ninya on the head, knocking Ninya out from the smack and exhaustion. The last thing she saw was a portal opening.
→ Nazarick Ainz-office / Arachama, Albedo and Ainz ←
Arachama was eating a nice portion of "Chilli Con Albion Sheep", as the maid called it, and listened in on Monga. He explained to Albedo how the battle went. Once Arachama was finished she placed the bowl on the desk and nearly burped. Albedo and Ainz were talking until Arachama caught and then Monga looked at her.
"You mentioned "Corner Spiders" and I want to know what is with them. The ones from Slane don't write any more." Monga asked.
Arachama nodded, took one of her "Spider Papers" and looked at it. She read past entries and then smirked.
"Because there is no Slane Theocracy anymore." Arachama smiled and placed the "Spider Paper" back on the desk. Monga had a green shimmer while Albedo had to concentrate to not lose herself.
"How can you be so sure about it?" Monga asked, sounding a bit worried.
"Because the spiders reported "The Punishment of the seed has been brought to the unworthy". I guess they mean "Holy Seed Of Punishment" and that it destroyed the Slane Theocracy." Arachama explained and Monga looked thinking.
"We should look at their vaults," Arachama continued.
"First I want to be sure that there is no one left." Monga said.
"No need for that. We could use "Gate" since I have a map of their capital and its location. Then we can plunder their vaults. It is that easy. The spiders would have talked if there was anyone worth reporting about." Arachama smiled and Monga again had a green shimmer. Albedo meanwhile looked and nodded.
"I will immediately call for all available hands to help carry anything you deem worthy enough. Then we can ask Pandora's Actor to place it into the treasury." Albedo smirked.
"That would be nice. But leave Victim, Gargantua and Demiurge here. We can't leave the Tomb without any defense." Arachama smiled, Albedo nodded, Ainz shimmered green and a maid brought a new bowl of "Chili Con Albion Sheep" to Arachama.
It took only half an hour for Arachama to finish her bowl and for Albedo to collect as many helpers as possible. There were 30 homunculi-maids, a few skeletons and other mobs. Then there were Cocytus, Mare, Aura, and a fearful Hamsuke.
Arachama had contacted Pandora's Actor to bring 500´000´000 Yggdrasil gold coins to the throne room, since they would be needed later.
Once everyone was at the colosseum on the sixth floor, Arachama used the "Gate" spell and everyone walked through. They found themselves in a cathedral with many dead people on the floor.
They moved deeper into the cathedral. The trip went through long walls made from white marble and a deep blue carpet on the floor. The trip was easy since the "Corner Spiders" formed arrows for their master to show the way towards the treasury. The trip went well and the group found itself in front of a giant double door, made of gold.
"So this is where the treasury is. Lets open" Arachama smiled and pushed the door open. She found a lonely figure waiting there. She looked hungry and like she was betrayed.
"Ara ara. What do we have here? I will give you an option. Surrender or I shall send you to help my friend." Arachama smiled and the lone figure stood up.
She had white and black hair, right through the middle of her head. Her clothing was white and black. She seemed to use a double headed scythe and looked frail at the moment. Though she obviously had lost a bit of weight and was confused.
"So you fought all the others?" She asked.
"Ara ara. It wasn't a fight, I am merely here to collect the reward for a close friend. But why don't you give up and simply bow? It would make our lives easier." Arachama smiled and tried to sooth the young women. The woman looked like a bored teenager. Mini-Arachama meanwhile began to squeak in joy. She had made her decision.
"I wish I could simply bow. I am already at the end of my patience and I am tired. Sadly I have to ask you to fight me." the girl stated.
"What do I get if I win?" Arachama asked.
"I will serve you and you gain access to the treasury. I only wish to have a strong child along the way." the teen replied.
"Ara ara. I can do that. But first I have to ask your name." Arachama smiled.
"I am Antilene Heran Fouche, but all simply call me Zesshi Zetsumei." Zesshi replied.
"Ara. "Certain Death". I like it. Now then. I am Arachama, the mother of spiders and calamities." Arachama smiled and Zesshi shuddered.
"My lady, surely you don't need to fight while we are around," Albedo said.
"Ara. There is no problem. She will lose" Arachama grinned and Zesshi shuddered.
Both went into position, while Zesshi looked as if she was in deep thought. Zesshi looked back at Arachama and then charged. Arachama used "Teleport" to get out of Zesshis scythe. Zesshi looked around, only to get a taste of a tier 8 spell called "Flamethrower".
The spell worked as the name implied, flames shot from a spell circle and hurt Zesshi, who then turned around.
Zesshi charged again and swung her scythe rapidly. Arachama got hit on one of her legs, though she was able to teleport before more damage could be received. The loss of one leg still hurt and brought her a bit off balance. She used her opportunity and casted.
"Now I have you "Nachtmahr". I wish you a good slumber" Arachama hissed.
"Nachtmahr" was a tier 10 spell, which placed the victim in a state between deep slumber and heightened senses. In Yggdrasil this spell gave a nasty problem, since it would simulate a trip on drugs. Quite nasty if you want to PK someone. Arachama didn't know the effects of this spell, though the flavor text mentioned something about "worst nightmares".
It didn't take 5 minutes when Zesshis body shivered and Zesshi cried her eyes out. Zesshi whined about her mothers death and how her life was terrible. How she felt locked up on her position and how she felt forgotten. Arachama simply listened and made mental notes.
"Will you give up or do we need to return tomorrow?" Arachama soothed.
"Please make it stop," Zesshi begged, crying her soul out.
"If you vow your fealty and sign a contract." Arachama replied.
"I will do so." Zesshi nearly shouted in fear.
"I will trust you once you take the vow and your signature is on paper" Arachama soothed and Zesshi calmed down a bit.
"What is wrong with her?" Arachama asked herself while Mini-Arachama was juggling pom-poms through her mind.
"Albedo, please bring me the "Unbroken Vow Paper" and some ink. I want to secure the gains today." Arachama smiled and spoke in a soothing voice. Zesshi seemed to shudder.
"There is nothing to worry Zesshi" Arachama soothed and Zesshi nodded. Arachama meanwhile walked behind her and took her up like a child.
"Say, don't you want to be outside of this horrendous place?" Arachama soothed and saw the eye of Zesshi go blank.
"That would be great" Zesshi replied and Arachama carried her to a table where Albedo placed a paper and ink. It was written out and Zesshi would simply sell her soul for the chance of getting a child in future. THough Albedo looked annoyed.
"Ara ara. Look. Albedo was so nice and brought the adoption paper to me. Don't you want to please her and me and sign it now?" Arachama kissed Zesshi, who now broke and signed the paper.
"I will do as you please, mother." Zesshi replied and bowed, her forehead touching the floor.
"Ara ara. Please do as told and I will see to your success." Arachama smiled while Mare shook Zesshi. Zesshi didn't move and simply waited.
"Now Zesshi. Please lead us through this vault and help with bringing the treasures through a "Gate" I will cast". Afterwards we have to go to my mansion." Arachama smiled.
Zesshi rose up and nodded. She had regained some color and looked towards the floor. It was obvious to Arachama that she would need a small change to be perfect, but what can love do to you?
Zesshi leads them through the vault, showing the treasures of the six gods. Arachama smiled and couldnt believe that the humans were stupid enough to not use the world item "Blessing Of The Gods" to cure their theocracy.
"Blessing Of The Gods" was able to remove all status effects, even death. It would also block all attacks with status effects of the enemy for a year. It was quite dreaded amongst heteromorphs.
"Monga? We landed the jackpot. We got a new world Item and enough money to have our finances secured for a while. Plus important documents" Arachama used "Message" to tell Monga the good news.
"That sounds great. Why did Albedo run into my office and ask for "Unbroken Vow Paper"? Should I know something?" Monga replied.
"I have found a new child in need. I can't leave her behind. But she is strong. I will turn her in today and then we have a valuable asset more" Arachama replied. A Mini-Arachama meanwhile prepared a big pinboard to plan Zesshis future.
"If you think so. When do you plan to revive Shalltear?" Monga asked.
"I think you should have the honor, since you did a big part in her defeat." Arachama smiled
"I will revive her. Once she is back I will plan further." Monga messaged.
"By planning you mean you will bullshit our way through?" Arachama asked.
"No comment" Monga answered and then cut the connection.
"Meaning yes," Arachama smiled.
Arachama looked around and saw that most of the vaults were already brought to Nazarick.
She was quite surprised to see how fast this went, but smiled to herself. She saw Zesshi and hugged her from behind. She smelled and then smelled that she wasn't human.
"Ara ara. You aren't human, at least not fully. Tried to hide something from me?" Arachama soothed. Zesshis eyes meanwhile became blank again.
"I am a half-elf, mother," Zesshi answered in a monotone voice and Arachama nodded.
"I don't hold it against you. I will tell you now. I want to turn you into one of my own. I will give you your "Egg Of Arachne". Once that is done you will eat dinner." Arachama said and Zesshi nodded. Zesshi then began to knead a part of Arachama, which shouldn't be kneaded.
"Ara ara. That is unbecoming of a child" Arachama laughed while Zesshi realized her mistake and retreated her hand.
"I understand, mother. Please do as you please" Zesshi replied and Arachama simply nodded.
"I will. Once you are turned you will look much more beautiful" Arachama teased and Zesshi shuddered.
The vault was empty by now and Arachama saw the rest of the group off. Once everyone besides her was through she opened another "Gate" though Zesshi asked for a moment. Arachama looked at Zesshi, while she placed her rubik's cube on the floor of the vault. Then Arachama scooped her up and walked through with Zesshi. She was now in her mansion and ordered Zesshi to wait in her living room. Then she told the others of the new development and then used "Gate" to go to Ainz office.
Once there she waited and knitted another pillow and read through reports. She heard Ainz teleport into his office. He was obviously exhausted, at least mentally. Arachama looked at him and continued to knit.
"So, what is the next step of our "grand plan"? Are we now focusing on patting our ego or what are we doing now?" Arachama smiled.
"I will send Cocytus to annihilate the Lizardmen, so we can hopefully create stronger undead." Monga answered.
"Why not subdue them? With that we can have loyal subjects within the forest." Arachama asked.
"I tried, sadly Demiurge "interpreted" my plans like this" Monga replied and shimmered green.
"Then tell them that you want them alive at a later date. If I read through the reports correctly, they are splitted. Threaten them with annihilation and either they come together for us to subdue or they will destroy each other." Arachama smiled.
"Sounds like a plan. How is your plan progressing?" Monga asked.
"It is going. Baby Steps to Baby steps, though I might look more into job and racial levels. Luckily I have quite a few opportunities, though I will let Demiurge experiment a bit on his farm." Arachama smiled
"I hope his farm is doing great, though I am sure that his sheep live good lives" Arachama thought and looked at her hands.
"Mother, the plan is finishing" Arachama heard Enti through "Message" and nodded.
"I will be going now, "Gate", see you later and please don't say anything that sends them on a rampage." Arachama pleaded.
"You also watch your words, we don't want more "albion-sheep-incidents"" Monga laughed and Arachama walked through the "Gate", while jokingly giving stink eyes.
→ Near Arwintar / Arachama, Leinas and Fluder ←
Once Arachama was through the portal she stood in the shed she had prepared. She saw the corpses, Leinas and Fluder standing. In the corner was an unconscious Ninya. Arachama saw the stains from tears in her face and hoped that this lesson was now ingrained.
"So we didn't solve the crime?" Leinas asked.
"Ara ara. Of course you solved it. The Furt-family wanted to attack me and I showed them that this was a stupid idea. But that is not official. Officially they were kidnapped by eight fingers and a monster found and ate them. That monster is Ninya there. Luckily you have witnesses in the form of soldiers. Such a tragic incident" Arachama replied and both nodded.
The group exchanged more information when Arachama heard soldiers approach the building.
"I will go now "Gate" and wish you good luck. Congratulations on fending off the monster. I will see you, Fluder, in due time with you, Leinas" Arachama smiled, scooped Ninya up and went through the "Gate". Leinas and Fluder, unbeknown to her, would be seen as heroes for the next time.
Arachama went to her living room and saw Zesshi kneeling there with her head touching the floor. Arachama inwardly groaned. She couldn't have one of her daughters kneel like that to her, it was frightening.
"Ara ara. Trying to prove something?" Arachama asked and Zesshi blushed and smelled weirdly.
"No, mother. I just treat you like I treated my biological mother." Zesshi replied.
"She made you kneel? How disgusting she had to be." Arachama said and scooped Zesshi in her arm. Zesshi tried to grope her again, which was hindered in the way Arachama had scooped her up.
"Ara ara. You are playful, aren't you? But first we need to change you." Arachama smiled and Zesshi shuddered.
"Please forgive me, mother. I just can't contain myself. All my life I looked for a being far superior to me, so that I can have children." Zesshi replied and Arachama nodded.
"I see. But we can look for something. Meanwhile you need to get used to a new set of legs and eyes." Arachama kissed Zesshi on her forehead.
"If you wish, mother." Zesshi smiled and Arachama placed an "Egg Of Arachne" and a steak of albion sheep on the table beside some albion sheep.
"You will eat this then. Afterwards we will use the "Mirror Of Remote Viewing" to see what your country did to themselves and what you betrayed" Arachama smiled while Zesshi found the floor much more appealing at the moment.
"Ara ara. Don't be ashamed. I know that you would either stay loyal to me or die a painful death. But now dig in." Arachama smiled and fed Zesshi. Zesshi ate without objections. Mini-Arachama meanwhile prepared a baby bottle.
Afterwards Zesshi and Arachama looked at the capital of the Slane Theocracy. Zesshi was in shock at seeing the city overrun with pestilence, decay and rot. Arachama meanwhile smiled and cuddled with Zesshi, grabbing certain body parts "accidentally". Zesshi blushed sometimes and was unable to do the same, since she was scooped up into Arachamas iron grip. After some time Zesshi glowed a bit acid green and Arachama gave her a kiss. She brought Zesshi to a newly furnished bedroom in the western part and placed her on her bed. She then looked for Enti and Yuri.
Yuri got a new set of orders while Enti was nearly cuddled to death.
"Mom, did you get another stray?" Enti asked.
"Hm. Yes. This one is more loyal than Ninya. Besides, she is bold and useful. I like her. But you are my oldest, dear" Arachama smiled and buried Entis face in her bust.
"What orders did you give Yuri?" Enti asked.
"I gave her a "Mirror Of Remote Viewing" and sent her to a subordinate. I want to make a small impression. When my other figures appear next I will also show them the results of my punishment. What would I do without my oldest?" Arachama cuddled again and fell asleep on her couch
→ Re-Estice Royal Palace / Renner ←
Renner was terrified. She got a message from the spiders, to prepare her room within an hour. She wasn't allowed to have anyone inside the room, or she would get punished. Renner had her hands full to prepare some dishes while she also chatted with blue roses leader Lakyus and her friend Climb. She was working on a project with subordinates from lady Arachama and she needed those strong adventurers. Blue roses had brought a coded message, which she decoded and they prepared their next step.
"Lakyus, I sadly don't have much time left. I feel a bit ill as of late." Renner smiled a bit sad.
"I understand. Please let my group and me handle this. Good evening" Lakyus said and left.
"Climb? Could you please guard the doors while I sleep?" Renner asked.
"As you wish." Climb replied and went outside to guard the door.
Renner prepared her room and placed the used utensils aside for new ones and then prepared biscuits and tea. After the hour was over a portal appeared. Through it appeared a woman in a maid outfit. She had black hair tied in a bun over her head and wore a choker and green gloves.
"Good evening Princess Renner," the lady said.
"Good evening. Please forgive me for not knowing your name" Renner replied.
"I am Yuri Alpha. I was sent by lady Arachama to show you something. Lady Arachama explicitly stated to spread information about a certain capital." Yuri reported and Renner nodded.
"As lady Arachama wishes. The court shall hear about this. Do you want some tea or biscuits? I tried to make them, an honest opinion would do me great service." Renner asked.
"I can humor you with that." Yuri smiled and placed a mirror on the table. The mirror then shimmered and showed the surrounding area.
"It is a "Mirror Of Remote Viewing", it allows the user to look at places he wishes to look at. It can come in handy" Yuri explained.
"That is something interesting. If my kingdom had something like that we would have won, if the hands would have been capable." Renner thought.
"So we are looking at the Slane Theocracy today?" Renner asked.
"Indeed. One of the scriptures tried to fight lord Ainz and lady Arachama. Arachama saw fit to give this scripture a punishment." Yuri answered.
"Already showing me what happens if I don't work hard enough or betray them. They are good and when they do their part it will be a great pleasure to work for them" Renner mused in her head.
"The biscuits could use a bit less salt and the tea could use some honey. Otherwise they are good" Yuri smiled at Renner, who took mental notes to cook better tea and bake better biscuits for Climb.
Yuri looked at the mirror and used hand gestures to move the point of view of the mirror until she was happy and zoomed in and showed Renner a sad and ugly picture.
"Lady Arachama wanted you to see this. This is what happens when you betray or insult the "Mother Of Calamities". If you serve her with the best of your capabilities, you will be rewarded according to the deal you made and much more" Yuri smiled and let the mirror show more pictures from the capital of the Slane Theocracy.
"A wise king would take a few swaps of land while the Theocracy is headlessly bumping around, don't you think?" Yuri asked and Renner nodded.
"Especially if those swaps are given to certain people." Renner smiled and Yuri nodded.
"I see that you understand lord Demiurges understanding of Lady Arachamas and Lord Ainz's plan." Yuri smiled and used a scroll to open one portal and went through.
Renner looked where the portal once was and was in utter shock. Lady Arachama understood her scheme and prevented it. She had planned to give a mediocre service. But now she knew that this would only make Lady Arachama angry, and she saw the results. She had to work faster and in better quality. Renner breathed deeply in and out. Afterwards she took aside the biscuits and tea and naped for half an hour to not raise suspicion.
After the time passed she rose from her bed and walked out of her room. There stood Climb in his uniform. She found that he looked gorgeous. Her obedient puppy. She signed him to follow her, which he immediately did, and she walked to eat dinner. She got to the table and seated herself besides her oldest brother. Sadly her more intelligent brother was visiting one of his allies. She therefore only had her oldest brother and her father as company.
"I got new information about the Slane Theocracy, father." Renner began, while maids served dinner. Renner knew that most of those maids were spies for their families.
"Oho. What information did you gather?" Her father asked.
"I heard that their capital is nothing but ruins in the hands of plague, decay and destruction. No human lives there anymore. The Theocracy is more or less a hollow shell." Renner replied.
"We should take a bite then, before the empire does." Barbo grinned.
"I personally only bring information. Do with it as you please." Renner said and ate. She listened to how her oldest brother and her father had a small fight over the potential advantages by absorbing parts of the Theocracy. She could also hear the maids and butler talk vividly about what she said and knew she got their interest as well.
"I also have information about how they got this killing blow" Renner insinuated.
"How would that be? It has to be natural" Barbo bollywood.
"That summoner Arachama used a powerful spell, after the Slane Theocracy insulted her. It had a delayed effect and now the capital felt her punishment." Renner said and the temperature in the room dropped drastically.
"Magic can't do anything like that. Your spies must be drunk." Barbo shot back.
"Again. If Fluder Paradyne would actually cast spells at Katze Plains I would assume we would lose big time." Renner replied and continued to eat.
The fight continued, but Renner saw that she reached her goal and would now wait patiently until a chance would present itself to go to bed. This chance came when Barbo realized her lack of interest in the topic.
"I will excuse myself. I wish a good night, father, Gazef Stronoff." Renner smiled and went to her room. There she would go to her bed and fall asleep.
AN: Thanks for reading the chapter and please review.
I made Zesshi Zetsumei and the black scripture a chunk weaker to make it possible for her to level up in certain ways. I place her here around level 70, at most. I know that some estimate her much higher, the highest I heard was 95, but I want to experiment with that.
