Yali tucked the small girl into her bed and kissed her forehead. It just wasn't fair. All because of this murder little Glaki didn't have her mother.

With that Yali left the room. What now? She didn't have to work for another three hours and Glaki had her room. Poppy was out, along with everyone else but her and Glaki.

With a sigh Yali sat herself down in the courtyard and began to think. It wasn't fair to Glaki's mother. All the woman was doing was working her job. Yali pounded her fists on the ground and cried in frustration as unwanted tears began to leak out of her tired eyes.

"Yali?" a voice called out from at the door.

The young woman looked up to see a young man of average height walk through the door.

"Keth!" Yali jumped up from the ground, "You're home early."

Keth nodded, "My teacher left me out after I made another globe." Then he frowned and looked at her more closely. With a gentle hand he took off Yali's veil.

He brushed away one of the tears, "What's wrong, Yali?"

She couldn't take it anymore. With a gasp she broke down. As the tears fell she felt the strong arms of a craftsman pull her close.

She cried into his chest until she finally got a grip on herself again. When her head cleared she pulled away, "I'm sorry. I guess with everything going on I loss control of myself."

Keth nodded slowly. He was never good at this.

Then Yali grinned up at him making his heart jump, "Glaki's sleeping. Say, would you mind watching her tonight. With buying food and all for her I'm beginning to run out of money."

Keth down at her; gosh she was pretty, "Of coarse I'll watch Glaki. Tell me if need money, alright?"

Yali looked down and nodded. Keth couldn't take it anymore. Gently he put his hand underneath her chin and lifted her head up. Lightly he put his lips on hers.

The kiss was slow and sweet. When they broke apart both were speechless.

Yali looked up and pulled him back down for another kiss as the rest of the world faded away. Nothing mattered anymore; nothing, except the connection between them.
