……She couldn't do anything about it, 'cause she knew he was right. She couldn't stop him. All she could do was watch as he walked further and further away. The tears that came were cold and hard, like the rain that hadn't let up sense he came to tell her he was leaving. In the distance you could make out the silhouette of the lone figure on the hill. The sound of the clatter of the umbrella had long sense passed and was over thrown with the roll of the thunder……

One last tear shed, one last good bye, she turned to never return to the face of her loved one.

And then there were none.
