Author's Note: Thank you so so much if you have read all the previous 12 chapters! This series will now take a turn, as Tadano and Komi are both fighting for each other.

Komi gripped Tadano even tighter as his eyes kept darting around for an opening. There was none. They were trapped with no way out.

"Seize them."

Immediately, Komi and Tadano were dragged forcefully apart from each other by 8 different pairs of arms. 4 girls were holding onto Komi while 4 guys were onto Tadano's.

"Shouko!" He called out in desperation as his girlfriend was dragged further away.

"Take her somewhere safe, we'll deal with this man." Yamai instructed the 4 girls, who intentionally left slowly as Tadano could only look on in distraught.

"Ahh… How did it feel, Tadano-kun? Your free trial of Komi-san is now over."

"Let me go."

"I don't think we will."

Tadano felt a blade pressed against his neck. He had no way out.

He glanced at the far end of the corridor. Komi was almost out of sight, but they still managed to exchange looks with each other. Her eyes were filled with shock and tears.

This might be the last time I'm seeing her… He gulped. His eyes stung as he felt tears about to rise up in them.

"You miss her already, huh?" Yamai smiled menacingly in his face.

He didn't respond, just glared at her.

"You would have been gone a week ago had this Ramorou guy not failed twice…"

Tadano felt the blade pressed against his neck loosen, and his eyes darted right to see the man who had been attacking him.

"So, it was you?" His eyes blazed with fire as he spoke.

"Yeah, it was." Ramorou pressed the blade back against his neck with strength.

"All that worry and desperation you gave me when you failed on both occasions. I would have killed you myself even if I had the authority…"

Ramorou faltered. "You…"

"Just do as you're told, I'm in charge here." Yamai then backed off to regroup with the Church members. "Take him to the room."

Tadano felt the pressure on his neck lifted. He glanced down to see Ramorou holding his blade by his waist. He had decided not to show any signs of resisting, which caused the grip on him to loosen.

"Perfect…" He thought.

Immediately, he chucked his arms forward and drove his elbows back into 2 of the guys holding him, they flinched and let go of Tadano as he fell to the floor, before immediately getting back on his feet.

"You thought I wouldn't resist, huh?" He smiled a little. Hatred and fury rose in him. Time for payback.

3 of the guys instantly charged to retaliate. Tadano, by instinct, grabbed the first guy by the arm and drove his fist into the second guy's face, which caused him to collapse to the floor with a bloody nose.

He then sent a forceful uppercut to the first guy, throwing him off his feet and he collapsed in a heap on the floor next to the wall.

The third guy took the opportunity of Tadano being busy with the other two, and sent a punch for his face, which missed and struck his shoulder instead.

Tadano instantly flung around and delivered a straight punch right onto his cheekbone, and with a perfectly aimed kick right at the chest, the third guy was dealt with.

He then looked up at Ramorou, who had not moved.

"Perfect. You're one hell of a fighter, huh, Tadano-kun."

Ramorou strode around where he was, fondling his dagger.

"This is the way I wanted it to be. Just you and me. And now, we duel." Their eyes met each other, and they could feel the adrenaline pumping through each of them.

"Alright, then." Tadano felt ready. "Bring it on."

Ramorou immediately charged, thrusting his dagger at Tadano who swiftly dodged it.

"We're doing this game again, are we?" Ramorou snarled.

"Maybe we are."

Ramorou swung once more, and once again Tadano dodged.

"Fight, you coward!"

Ramorou swung with full force, but Tadano swiftly responded by sending a well-aimed punch at his wrist, below the palm. Ramorou thus missed the swing.

Tadano held his ground, even if his life was at risk. Ramorou knew that and was trying every single trick he knew to make him vulnerable.

Ramorou grabbed the dagger with both hands and did an overhead thrust aimed for Tadano's chest, but Tadano saw it coming, and while Ramorou's hands were both lifted over his head, he seized his opportunity.

His hands locked around Ramorou's arms, and he shoved him backwards with full force and caused his head to slam against the poster cabinet, splintering glass all over the floor, and injuring him.

"Son of a…" Ramorou then used his legs, which were free to move, to land a sideswipe kick on Tadano's shin, and caused him to fall to the floor and on to some of the glass shards.

"Argh…" He slowly regained composure and stood up. It was at this time Ramorou chose to strike.

"AGHH!" Tadano felt the blade slash across his left arm, and there was a long cut that ran the length from his elbow to his shoulder. It wasn't deep, but nor was it shallow.

Ramorou seized another opportunity to strike the weakened Tadano, this time causing another cut, a deeper one, on the back of his palm.

Tadano retreated backwards a few steps. He had been hurt; blood was dripping to the floor.

Ramorou slowly approached him, and Tadano turned around to see that he was backing off towards the staircase lobby. He had nowhere to run now.

"Your time is up, Hitohito Tadano…" Tadano watched as Ramorou raised his dagger, the end of the sharp blade driving downwards…

"It isn't."

Tadano dove downwards and shot back up behind Ramorou, landing a punch at the back of his right shoulder, causing the dagger he was holding to fly out of his hands.

Immediately, it turned into a fistfight. Ramorou swung around and struck Tadano in the cheek, causing him to stagger back a little bit.

"I'm more than capable of fighting with my own fists."

He threw a punch at Tadano, who successfully blocked it, and they began trading punches back and forth. A punch hit Ramorou's collarbone, and another struck Tadano above his nose.

I need to end this soon; I doubt I will last much longer. Both parties were thinking as they continued swinging at each other.

Then, Ramorou made a crucial error, overcommitting a punch which Tadano managed to swiftly avoid, before receiving a quick one-two punch with full force to the side of the head, and he fell to the floor.

Slowly regaining his composure, he tried to grab his dagger, but then realised it was at the bottom of the flight of stairs.

"Oh, so it's your dagger you want?" Tadano spoke as Ramorou slowly stood up, still not fully focused.

"Then go grab it."

He then lifted a leg and sent the most forceful kick he had ever given, and it sent Ramorou falling…

There was a loud thud of bone hitting metal as Ramorou's head struck the metal railing of the stairs before his body rolled down the remaining few steps and came to rest at the bottom of the stairwell.

He had been knocked out.

"Good riddance." Tadano looked down at his assassin's unconscious body and turned, darting out of the stairwell to find Komi.
