Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. It belongs to the dazzling JKR.
A/N: This poem was inspired by a story I read about Peter's fall. So the following is in his perspective. Evil, obviously, is Voldemort & Co. "Good" represents the Order of the Phoenix. The last half of this poem is Peter saying, "Yes, I did screw up, but if I can't show my sorrow, why then, I might as well be glad."
Okay, I better stop now, 'cause this note is longer that the poem!
Fool's Song
For fear of Evil's strength,
I hid 'neath Evil's wing.
"Good" I betrayed. 'Twas killed, 'twas slain.
My doom the deed will bring.
The friends I lost for a fool's fear!
Shame I brought brings more than a tear.
The sorrow within, no one will hear,
For Fool's triumph, Fool will sing.
