Cianwood City, Pokémon Center

"Thank you for your patience. Here are your Pokémon." Nurse Joy told Jackson, handing him his tray of Pokéball, with Leafeon hopping onto the counter, before leaping onto her trainer's shoulder.

"Thank you so much, Nurse Joy." Jackson replied, taking the Pokéballs and pocketing them.

"It's been a long time since I have been on your shoulders like this." Leafeon pointed out, relaxing herself on his shoulder as they walked out.

"Yeah, and it's been a long time we've seen the team, although considering the whole time axis between worlds, it won't seem THAT long to them…"

Yep, according to what he learned earlier that morning, it had only been a few days since he left Olivine City, not the month and a half he had been in the alternate Pokémon world. He reported in to Kris, thinking of an excuse as to why he hadn't called in the past few days, and explained that he got shipwrecked during the trip, which is why he lost the boat, and had to use his otherworldly powers and gear to get across to make it to Cianwood. Because he never explained the limits of his skills, she was fortunate to believe him, but made sure to tell Jasmine a different story as an excuse. She wasn't gonna believe he was from another world anyway.

With that, she did say that Ethan had traveled to the Safari Zone in order to get some training in, so Jackson was glad he wasn't around just yet. He had some catching up to do, along with new training he came up with.

"Alright, Leafeon…" Jackson started, leaving the Pokémon Center, "Let's reunite with our team, and then, we'll get to new training!"

"Alright. I cannot wait to show how much stronger I have gotten." Leafeon answered. Jackson took off into a brisk run, making his way over to the shorelines near Cianwood City.

Music Intro

(Traveling through shining golden tunnel of energy, leading out into space with many world, all of which different colors, with the central world being the Pokémon world. The logo 'Jackson in Johto' appears on screen, before the camera passes through the arch of the 'n' from 'in, going into the world, through the clouds, where the glowing shadow of Ho-Oh can be seen, to the sea, where the shadow of Lugia is flying beneath the waters, before reaching the shoreline, getting blinded by the sun.)

Yeah, stand up boys!

Come on, face forward

(Jackson stands up, with Quilava at his side, followed by Dewott, Weavile, and Scyther, all of which expressing their unique personalities to Jackson.)

The call enveloping you is your guide

Step towards tomorrow

(Dewott gets angry at Weavile for trying to act so cool, while Jackson rolls his eyes before he, Quilava and Scyther took off ahead, with Weavile following behind, ignoring Dewott, who panicked and ran to not be left behind.)

Yeah, stand up girls!

At the end of what's more than real

(Leafeon rises up with Lyanne as Jackson and the boys pass by. The two look to one another, before giggling at the sight of the boys, before looking to the sky.)

We'll grab a light that's been covered by thick clouds

(Camera goes up into the starry sky, where a ball of light was slowly falling down, with the image of Gardevoir inside, her eyes slowly opening up as she looked up.)

How we spend our days before isn't good enough

(Camera passes by still images of all the companions and gym leaders that he has met or will meet in the future, including Cypher at the end of the pictures, while Jackson, Lyanne, Leafeon, and the rest of his current team walked along the bottom of the screen.)

At full speed

We can blast through

Even the highest wall

(Team Rocket suddenly appears, with the four admins of Team Rocket standing together, with the images of their ace Pokémon at their side, and the satellite system right above them.)

Stand up for your dream!

(Jackson draws his sword, while Lyanne turns into her Latias form, and the rest of his team ready to fight together.)

Be enthusiastic at what you do, no matter what it is

(Jackson rushes forward as he slashes his blade against Team Rocket grunts, followed by a spin kick, sending them flying, while Leafeon leaps up and unleashes a forward somersault Leaf Blade, taking out their Pokémon.)

Push your way through to make an opening

(Weavile unleashes an Ice Punch as Dewott throws a Water Pulse at a different direction, followed by the pair unleashing simultaneous Night Slashes. Quilava leaps through their attack, going into a Flame Charge.)

No matter how far

The answer you're seeking is

Stand up for your dream!

(Scyther flies in, unleashing an X-Scissor, followed by a Vacuum Wave, before Latias flies above him, unleashing a Mist Ball, sending it ahead. The attacks all created an explosion that consumed the scene in smoke.)

Even if my feeling show weakness

Your voice that I hear close by

(In the burning Ecruteak City, a serious Jackson raced along the path with Leafeon and Quilava at his side, towards the two towers, where a deranged Ho-Oh and Lugia were at, unleashing Aeroblast and Sacred Fire onto the city.)

Gives me courage and strength

I can go the distance

(Jackson leaps high, landing on Latias's back as they flew off, with the rest of the team leaping with him before encased in a stream of their signature colors, before the screen turn white, with a crystal blue Pokéball with a gold and silver sword crossing behind it the only thing remaining.)

Jackson and Leafeon reached the shoreline away from the city, before they came to a halt. Jackson pulled out his Pokéballs, and shouted, "Alright, everyone! Come on out!" He toss the balls out, and Weavile, Dewott, Quilava, and Scyther appeared.

"Jackson! What's kept you from getting us out for so long?!" Dewott demanded.

"Sensei, I am rather perplexed as well." Scyther agreed.

"It hasn't been that long." Weavile noted calmly.

"No, but…it kinda feels like it has been." Quilava noted.

"Yeah, things have been pretty complicated." Jackson admitted, "Sorry it's been a while. Let me explain everything that has happened so far…"

Jackson and Leafeon went into the long story of what they went through, acknowledging the fact that it was Arceus's trial for them. Dewott was infuriated that he didn't get to be tested like Leafeon did, but Jackson shut him up by saying Weavile didn't go either, so he didn't get ahead of him there. Once they finished, the four Pokémon seemed rather dumbfounded.

"It's hard to believe you were a tiny little Torchic, Jackson." Dewott argued.

"And yet, you faced Legendary Pokémon, and held your own?" Quilava asked.

"Consider me impressed." Weavile told him.

"As expected from Sensei." Scyther finished.

"Speaking of which, I'm not sure if I got a little rusty on my swordplay after all that time." Jackson argued, pulling out his sword, switching it to training mode, "Leafeon, let's test if I lost my touch by showing them how much stronger you gotten."

"With pleasure." Leafeon answered, backflipping away from Jackson, flicking her tail as she glowed before shouting, "Sunny Day!" She shot energy into the sky, making the sun burst down onto the field.

"So she learned a new move, after all!" Quilava noted, "This might come in handy for me, too!"

Jackson and Leafeon shot at each other, Leafeon's Chlorophyll activating as she gained high speeds, zipping around Jackson, who kept tabs on her position, before she unleashed a Quick Attack at him. Jackson parried, holding her back as she pushed against his blade, before she was knocked back by her trainer. She landed on her feet and launched forward with a Leaf Blade. Jackson readied his sword, and the two engaged in a dance of sword swings tail versus actual sword. The others were in awe at what kind of battle was taking place.

Leafeon and Jackson backed off as Leafeon gathered up solar energy, before firing a Solarbeam from her mouth at Jackson, who switched his sword to a steel form, and unleashed several sword beams to counter the attack, but it was coming closer and closer to him. He ended up quickly jumping as the Solarbeam nearly hit him, and he gathered up the winds in his blade. "Avian Espada!" he roared, unleashing a tunnel of slicing winds at Leafeon, who couldn't evade it in time, and got hit by it. She endured as best as she could, till she found the strength, and leapt out of the cyclone, coming to halt, very battered, but still good to go.

Jackson landed on the sandy shore, looking to Leafeon, before nodding to signal the fight was over. Leafeon sighed in relief, and the pair looked to the gaping other four Pokémon. "If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't believe it..." Quilava muttered in shock.

"I'm speechless." Weavile noted.

"You're pretty close to that, though..." Scyther argued.

"You seriously got that tough in just a few days?!" Dewott demanded, "No way! I don't want to believe that! You really did go away for a long time!"

"Told ya." Leafeon replied, as Jackson approached her side.

"And this is where we came up with our new training regiment." Jackson told the group, "You guys are seriously tough. I taught you well, and you accepted the training. However, now you guys need to learn how to act smart and successfully, even without my commands."

"Say what now?" Dewott asked.

"In the other world, I saw Pokémon who were able to function just as well as any normal human." Jackson explained, "They were able to rationalize, act with clever planning, run shops, do chores, all sorts of things. That's why I think you guys should try to do such things even when I am not around. And I don't just mean battles, but I also mean menial tasks like chores, deliveries, item gathering, pest control, and also coming up with ideas on what to do here and there. So I can give you a task, and you should know how to accomplish it with ease."

"Really? That's what you want us to do?" Quilava asked.

"Yep. I ended up starting to do that more when I was in the other world." Leafeon stated, "Let's start with some task that is easy for the four, Jackson."

"Right. Let's start with..." he looked around the place, till he saw some boulders that had fallen here and there, as well as garbage that had washed ashore, and answered, "Ah, there's a plan! Clean up the shores, and make it more open for everyone. Break away boulders and gather up garbage around here. We need to keep the environment clean for everyone.

"Sounds simple enough." Weavile understood.

"Can burning up the garbage count?" Quilava asked.

"Not all garbage is flammable." Jackson explained, "Some would melt and cause toxic fumes. Just stick to gathering. I'll get a garbage bag for us to use. As for the boulders, break them apart, sweep them towards the cliff walls, and let nature take care of the rest. Use any method that feels comfortable, but I will call you out if I see you doing the wrong thing or if I could see you do better. Ready? Start!"

Jackson pulled out a garbage bag as his Pokémon went to work. They scattered about, looking around the shorelines, with Dewott wanting to do everything better than Weavile, while he was just gathering up garbage mainly and dumping them in the garbage bag, with Weavile doing the same. Leafeon was breaking rocks with her Leaf Blade and sweeping up the cracked boulders with her tail. Quilava did the same with his Flame Wheel or Swift attack, before burning the rocks, melting them away. Occasionally, a Pokémon like a Shuckle or a Krabby would pop out, trying to attack, but they would be swatted away by them, or Dewott, should he be there.

At some points, Jackson would speak up should he have a suggestion or a correction from the group. "Weavile, don't go swimming out to that can. Freeze the water up to the can so you can walk over and gather it."

"Dewott. If you are accomplishing a task, don't multitask! Choose one thing to do fully, then you can do something else."

"Scyther, I see some garbage on top of the shrubs on the cliffside. Use your wings to get to them."

They took a good long hour before they finished their tasks, with Jackson having to pull out more garbage bags, and the team feeling a bit satisfied at their accomplishment. "Well done, all of you." Jackson told them.

"Heh! Nothin' to it!" Dewott stated with a huff.

"We only got this done thanks to Jackson's guidance in some parts, though." Leafeon admitted.

"I failed to accomplish this without your assistance, sensei." Scyther said with a guilty expression, "Forgive me."

"Don't worry about it. This was only your first task." Jackson assured him, "As we continue to train, we will get stronger and wiser together, so that you will be able to do things without me teaching you how to do it. I have faith in all of you." The team looked pleased at his answer, before they all stared behind him suddenly shocked to see something, or someone. Jackson didn't need to turn around to feel the power of the character behind him. It was strong, but also familiar. Turning around, he found himself face to face with a Pokémon he had met once before; Suicune.

"We meet again, young trainer." it greeted Jackson.

"S-Suicune!" Jackson gasped.

"I see you managed to make your way back from the other world." Suicune noticed.

"You knew about that?" Leafeon asked as the others gathered around Jackson.

"Indeed, for it was Arceus who asked Lugia to use its whirlpools to create a portal for you to the other world." the Legendary explained.

"I figured as much..." Jackson muttered, "That whole thing was a test to see if we were ready for the future that we witnessed and learned."

"Which one was that?" Scyther asked.

"Right, you didn't know about that." Quilava realized, "You see, Celebi showed Jackson a future in which he was involved in a fight with something incredibly evil and powerful. It scared the living daylights out of him."

"Yes, and before that..." Weavile continued, "...in the Ruins of Alph, we learned of a prophecy of that evil, and that in one future, Jackson would be involved in a fight between the evil and a group of heroes."

"Yeah, and I know we're part of it, too!" Dewott stated smugly.

"Jackson, Leafeon, you two have shown your resolve to facing great danger." Suicune acknowledged, "You faced all sorts of endeavors, showing your bravery and your selflessness when it came the multiple kinds of opponents and threats to the world. You have deemed yourself worthy to prepare for the future."

"Prepare?" Quilava asked.

"I thought that would've proven how we were ready for that future." Leafeon argued, looking to Jackson, "Don't you think so, Jackson?"

"No, I don't." Jackson answered, surprising her, "Think about it; While we did stop a falling star, we didn't do it with our own power, and had to ask Rayquaza to do it for us. What's more, I'm sure the world would still survive even after that. From what we learned and witnessed, the evil we have to face in the future is not only able to destroy the world entirely, but multiple ones, including my home world. Power of that level is something we are not ready to face."

"When you put it that way..." Quilava muttered.

"It makes complete sense." Weavile admitted.

"It's good to see that you are aware of how big of a threat we will face in our future." Suicune acknowledged, "A lesser human would be too overconfident after accomplishing such a great feat."

"I'm just able to tell the level of threat we were dealing with." Jackson argued innocently, "My masters taught me never to be overconfident, and that I am always growing, always improving. And as such, I plan for all of us to grow stronger and stronger, both physically and mentally. I wanna be completely ready for what is to come, and I'll take the experience I got from that world to use for the future." The rest of his Pokémon team all smiled as they approved of his comment.

Suicune paused for a moment, before smiling as it stated, "It would seem I should add humility to the things I commend you having. Never forget what you had said to me, just now."

"I understand." Jackson replied.

Suicune looked to the Verdant Pokmon as it added, "Leafeon, I should let you know that in honor of your dedication to fight alongside Jackson, you have been given a gift by Arceus itself. Something Pokmon are normally not able to have."

"Really? What did I gain?" Leafeon asked, examining herself, "I don't feel any different than before."

"You will know in due time. Oh, and..." Suicune added, looking behind Jackson, "Thank you for cleaning these lands." Jackson turned back to the loads of garbage, glad to see it appreciate all they had done when it was really just training. He turned back to say something, but was surprised to see that Suicune had already vanished, leaving the group.

"How did he do that?" Dewott asked.

"So silently..." Scyther noticed.

"My masters are able to do the same thing." Jackson compared, "I still don't know how they do it."

"Hey, Jackson, right?" spoke up familiar voice. Jackson turned to see none other than Eusine approaching Jackson.

"I remember you. At the Burned Tower." Jackson recalled.

"That's right." Eusine replied, "But never mind that. I just saw Suicune with you just now."

"Yeah, that's right." Jackson replied.

"It seemed like you were conversing with it. I'm dying to know what you were talking about."

Jackson paused, not sure if he should explain exactly what they were talking about, but Jackson replied, "He was just interested in my strength, and commending me for cleaning up the beach."

Eusine looked to the garbage bags nearby, before looking back at Jackson, saying, "I can't help but be envious of you. You managed to speak with Suicune, witness its majestic appearance. As for me, I only could glimpse it before it took off over the water. How I wish to gain an audience with Suicune like you did." He thought for a moment, and answered, "Okay, I've decided. Jackson, let's battle!"

"Wait, why?" Jackson asked.

"I want to be worthy to meet Suicune." Eusine explained, "Plus, I would like to see why Suicune chose you. So I won't give you any option but to fight me!"

"Uh..." Jackson turned to his team, asking them, "Well, what do you guys think?"

"Heck yeah!" Dewott declared.

"It is your choice, sensei." Scyther nodded.

"Could be a good warmup for you, Jackson." Leafeon argued, "You haven't fought as a trainer in a while."

"That's true." Jackson admitted, turning to Eusine, "Well, I guess I'm game. Let's do it!"

"Thank you." Eusine answered, turning around and walking away to give himself some distance from Jackson, while he returned all but Leafeon to their balls. Eusine smirked as he mentally noted, 'I at least know what he has in store for me. Meanwhile, he has no clue about my Pokémon team. I have the advantage in surprise.'

Once they were prepared, Jackson called out, "So how are we gonna do this?"

"A series of knockout battles." Eusine answered, "Both of us have five Pokémon each, so we'll have five rounds. Best three out of five wins!"

"Sounds good to me." Jackson replied, "And since you wanted this, why don't you start us off?"

"Fine with me." Eusine answered, "Girafarig, go!" He tossed out a ball, and out came a giraffe-looking Pokémon that Jackson recognized back when he was in the other world. Nevertheless, he pulled out his Pokédex to examine it.

"Girafarig. The Long Neck Pokémon. Girafarig's rear head contains a tiny brain that is too small for thinking. However, the rear head doesn't need to sleep, so it can keep watch over its surroundings 24 hours a day."

"Jackson, what is your strategy?" Leafeon asked.

"I'm familiar with it, so I know what to do." Jackson replied, "Scyther, go!" He tossed out Scyther to the field, who looked ready to fight.

"Girafarig, Zen Headbutt!" Eusine called out, and his partner charged forward with psychic energy encasing its head.

"Dodge with Agility!" Jackson called out, and Scyther flew forward, gaining speed, before instantly zooming past Girafarig, approaching behind it. However, Eusine cleverly knoew what to do here.

"Jackson!" Leafeon called out.

"I know!" Jackson replied, as heard Eusine shout, "Crunch!", the fangs of its tail head opening up. "Vacuum Wave!" Jackson shouted, and Scyther created a vortex of energy from its claws, and swung the energy at the chomping teeth, causing an explosion, and sending both parties flying away from one another.

"Girafarig, Psyshock!" Eusine shouted. Girafarig summoned orb-shaped masses with psychic energy, and threw them at Scyther.

"Destroy them with X-Scissor, and get in close!" Jackson shouted.

"Right, sensei!" Scyther replied, flying forward, with his claws glowing, before producing an X-shaped wave of energy from a cross-slash that destroyed the Psyshock, before flying in close to the startled Psychic/Normal-type. He unleashed another X-Scissor onto it, and there was a sand cloud that formed from the impact.

"Girafarig!" Eusine shouted, until he saw the cloud dissipate, and Girafarig was on its side, with spirals in its eyes.

"Yes! One win for us!" Jackson cheered, "Well done, buddy!"

"Excellent job, Scyther." Leafeon commended her ally.

"Thank you, sensei, Leafeon." Scyther replied, flying towards them. He stopped in front of Jackson, bowing his head to him. Jackson did what his masters did, and bowed back to him, before returning him to his ball.

"Girafarig, return!" Eusine pulled out his Pokéball, returning his partner into it, "I got caught off guard. But that won't happen again." He looked to Jackson, who pulled out his next ball, shouting, "Weavile! I choose you!" He tossed out the ball, and out came the said Pokémon to the field.

"Weavile, huh? In that case... Electrode, go!" He tossed out a ball, and out came a red and white spherical Pokémon with a grin on its face. Jackson pulled out his Pokédex, examining it.

"Electrode. The Ball Pokémon. One of Electrode's characteristics is its attraction to electricity. It is a problematical Pokémon that congregates mostly at electrical power plants to feed on electricity that has just been generated."

"Unusual Pokémon to send out. Wonder why he chose that?" Jackson asked, putting his Pokédex away.

"Maybe because he didn't have a better choice?" Leafeon assumed.

"Nevertheless, best be prepared." Jackson told her, looking to Weavile, "Alright buddy, let's give him a cold shoulder. Icy Wind!" Weavile unleashed a gust of icy winds from his mouth, blasting it at Electrode.

"Counter with Discharge!" Eusine shouted, with Electrode unleashing a wild surge of electricity, overpowering the icy winds, and nearly striking Weavile had he not dodged out of the way.

"That was too close!" Leafeon gasped.

"No kidding. Weavile, Ice Punch!" Jackson called out. Weavile landed on his feet, and launched forward with an icy fist.

"Rollout!" Eusine shouted, and Electrode went into a spin, rolling towards Weavile, and the two collided. After a few seconds, Weavile's attack got overpowered by the attack and was sent flying upwards.

"Jackson, it isn't working!" Leafeon argued, "It'll be like Whitney all over again!"

Jackson thought quickly, before looking at the grooves in the sand formed by Electrode's attack, and struck an idea. "Weavile, Night Slash, and drag it on the sand from the water!"

Weavile and Leafeon looked confused, but the latter stated, "Just go with it. He has a plan."

"Understood." Weavile answered, producing a purple energy sword. He leapt over Electrode to evade its Rollout, landing right by the seawater, and dragged his sword from it along the sand.

"What is he planning?" Eusine questioned as he created a very long line along the ground.

"Now, slam it with Metal Claw!" Jackson shouted. Weavile brandished his metallic claws, and slammed it along the ground, causing sand to fly as the shockwave went along the groove, suddenly turning it into a curved moat, the blown sand pushed Electrode away from making another assault, but which drew the water in.

"Now, Icy Wind!" Jackson shouted, as Electrode spun around and came at Weavile. The Sharp Claw Pokémon breathed its freezing winds on the water, freezing it up, creating a long, icy groove on the ground.

"Is this what you had in mind?" Leafeon asked.

"Yep. Weavile, run along it!" Jackson called out. Weavile leapt into his creation as Electrode pursued him, getting into the icy groove. The result? With the half-pipe design and the slippery texture, Electrode couldn't escape what Eusine realized was a makeshift trap.

"Oh no! Electrode, get out of there!" Eusine called out. However, his Ball Pokémon couldn't even stop spinning. Weavile leapt out of the way as it spun right into the ocean, creating waves as it finally slowed down, drenched.

"Weavile, use Night Slash!" Jackson called out, and his partner twisted about and leapt at the water-soaked Pokémon with an energy sword.

"Stop him with Discharge!" Eusine called out. This was a mistake, as when Electrode unleashed the wild electricity, it also ended up shocking itself, while Weavile also got shocked. Weavile fell to the ground, damaged, but witnessing Electrode was not feeling good from its own attack used against it.

"That's what you had in mind!" Leafeon realized.

"Yep. Electrode can't do that without hurting itself!" Jackson noted, "Weavile, run in and use Ice Punch!" Weavile regained itself, and unleashed an icy fist, punching Electrode with it, and causing ice to form around its body.

"No, not again!" Eusine, seeing Weavile ready another icy fist, "If we can't win this fight, we won't let you, either! Explosion!" Electrode smirked as it gathered up a large of energy within itself, causing Weavile to stop its next attack, startled at what was taking place, as was Jackson. All of a sudden, there was a humongous detonation, water shooting into the sky like an erupting geyser. Jackson and Eusine shielded themselves from the shockwaves and debris of the detonation. When it died down, they looked to see Electrode was unconscious, while Weavile was flung away, also unable to continue.

"A double knockout?!" Jackson exclaimed.

"Meaning no one won that fight." Leafeon understood.

"I won't let you take that win, Jackson." Eusine told him, putting Electrode back into his ball, "It was a clever strategy, but one I could still overcome in some way."

"Yeah, and now it's one win and one tie." Jackson noted, putting Weavile back into his ball, as well.

"Now, let's see how you handle this next one. Hypno, go!" he tossed out a ball, and out came a yellow human-like Pokémon with a white collar and a pendulum coin in one hand. Jackson pulled out his dex to examine it.

"Hypno. The Hypnosis Pokémon, and the evolved form of Drowzee. Hypno holds a pendulum in its hand. The arcing movement and glitter of the pendulum lull the foe into a deep state of hypnosis. While this Pokémon searches for prey, it polishes the pendulum."

"Sounds like one tough customer." Jackson noted, "Leafeon, I'm counting on you."

"Understood." Leafeon responded, bounding forward to take a stand.

'I will show you how big of a mistake that is.' Eusine told himself, as Jackson and Leafeon readied themselves.

"Leafeon, Sunny Day!" Jackson called out, and his partner unleashed a burst of energy into the sky, causing the sky to shine brightly around them. Leafeon's body started to glow a light green hue, which did surprise Jackson for a second, as he had never seen this before. However, he dismissed it, deciding to figure it out later.

"Dealing with the weather? I can deal with that!" Eusine called out, "Hypno, Fire Punch!" His partner created a fiery fist, and leapt at Leafeon, the fires burning hotter thanks to the sun.

"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Jackson shouted, and his partner zoomed out of the way, easily evading the attack thanks to her Chlorophyll ability. She then turned and struck Hypno hard. "Keep it up!" Jackson called out, and his partner kept zipping around, slamming into Hypno over and over again.

"Your speed will not matter! Psychic!" Eusine called out. Hypno managed to regain itself, and created a psychic wave that struck Leafeon, causing her to stop and float into the air. Leafeon struggled to move, but was unable to do so.

"Leafeon, Solarbeam!" Jackson called out, and Leafeon started to quickly absorb the bright sun, ready to fire.

"Stop her. Slam her into the ground!" Eusine called out, and his partner waved its free hand down as it made Leafeon hit the sand hard, stopping her from firing the attack. Leafeon struggled to get back up, and saw Hypno had quietly approached her, and she looked up at him.

"Hypno, put her to sleep with Psychic." Eusine called out, and his partner started to wave its pendulum, unleashing a hypnotic wave at Leafeon, who could not evade. Eusine smirked as he told himself, 'All I have to do is put her to sleep, and use Nightmare to knock it out. This will be my win.'

"Leafeon, stay awake!" Jackson called out. Leafeon started to attempt at resisting the urge to sleep, but then suddenly started to realize something; She was not getting drowsy whatsoever. She managed to rise to her feet as Hypno looked really startled at this.

"Wait a minute, why aren't you falling asleep?!" Eusine questioned, "This should be impossible!"

"Leafeon, you're still okay?" Jackson asked.

"Yeah. I'm completely fine." she replied, "But...my body is feeling strange. It's like I am protected by the sun's rays on my body."

Jackson looked confused, and pulled out his Pokédex, examining Leafeon, wondering if there was any changes. Suddenly, he noticed something, and it was something even the dex could not completely understand. It was shifting between two different abilities that Leafeon seem to be activating. One was Chlorophyll. The other one was Leaf Guard, and according to it, it was able to make Leafeon immune to status effects in the sun.

"Leafeon, I don't know what is going on, but it seems like you are activating two abilities at once!" Jackson called out. Leafeon looked startled.

"Impossible! Pokémon can only have one ability each!" Eusine argued as Hypno backed off, stopping its attack, "There is no way one could have two at once!"

Leafeon thought for a moment, then recalled what Suicune told her before it left. "Something Pokémon don't normally gain..." she repeated its words, before gasping, "Jackson! This must be the gift Arceus has given me; the power of two abilities!"

"For real?!" Jackson asked in shock, "That's super awesome! Thank you, Arceus!"

"Arceus? You mean the Pokémon god, itself? Is this its' doing?" Eusine realized, wondering how it would choose Jackson, before shaking his head as he muttered, "No, I don't get it. I have to keep fighting. Hypno, use Psychic on Leafeon!" Hypno readied itself to unleash another psychic wave to trap Leafeon.

"No you don't! Solarbeam!" Jackson called out. Leafeon gathered up her solar energy, and fired it in a beam at Hypno, who took the blast hard before it could evade, causing it to endure the blast as it was sent skidding along the ground. Just as it came to a halt, it looked up to see that Leafeon was already in mid leap and spin, unleashing a Leaf Blade with its tail. It slammed it hard into Hypno, causing it to get sent flying, crashing at Eusine's feet, where it laid there, unconscious.

"Nice combo, Leafeon." Jackson commended her.

"It was thanks to your training." she replied, walking back up to him, "But I would also like to thank Arceus. To think it god itself would give me two abilities at once."

"Agreed. Boosting your speed AND make you immune to status effects in the sun? Almost OP, but not really." Jackson noted, "I mean, it has requirements to activate, and it doesn't cover everything, so I think it's completely fine."

"Why are you sounding like you're trying to defend what we gain?" Leafeon asked.

"Just feel like some people might find this an issue..." Jackson replied, turning to the viewers for a second, before looking away as he stated, "Anyways, that's two wins and a tie. One more, and we'll..."

"No. I give up." Eusine called out, having already returned his partner to its ball, "I don't stand a chance against you. You and your Pokémon are amazing."

"You sure?" Jackson asked.

"I am. I can see why Suicune has been keeping an eye out on you." Eusine understood, "And it seems like you might even have greater powers taking an interest in you, as well. That said, I won't give up. For my passion for Suicune is much stronger than yours."

"Well, I wish you the best of luck on that." Jackson told Eusine, "And thanks for the battle. I feel more confident than before. Once I make sure the medicine is sent over to Ampharos at Olivine City, I'll go challenge the gym leader here."

"Oh? You plan to go to take on the gym?" Eusine asked, "If memory serves right, his name was Chuck, and he is a Fighting-type expert."

"Fighting-types, eh?" Jackson asked, "Better plan around my strategy around that."

"Indeed. Eusine might be one thing, but a gym leader is another." Leafeon argued, "Best be prepared."

"I wish you the best of luck. Farewell!" Eusine told him, shaking hands with Jackson, before they parted ways with one another.

Jackson watched Eusine leave, before looking out to sea, at the sun in the sky. "It almost feels like a distant memory, what happened in that world." Jackson noted.

"Agreed. But I bet Squirtle and the other members of Team Blade are doing fine." Leafeon answered, "And you have to uphold the reason why you left. There's a lot of things you have yet to accomplish."

"Yep." Jackson replied, pulling out the Rescue Team Badge he gained from that world, "And let's start with what I just told Eusine. Let's get healed up, then get back to more training. We oughta get ready for the Gym battle." With that, he and Leafeon made their way back to Cianwood City.
