The rest of the day passed without any more problems, we kept on handing out cups filled with water and when the tanks or cups ran out Aqua either refilled them or simply pulled more out.
By the end of the day both Sasha and Gloria were exhausted and covered in sweat, as luck would have it we made enough to consider it a good opening day.
Santo Domingo is the 6th Street Gangs territory, so it's no mystery why they showed up, but looking at the way that both they and the police showed up I could tell that their arrival was unusually coordinated.
In the end, it doesn't matter even if the two are working together, as long as we can work in peace, after all by now word of the Axis Cult and its miracle cure has spread and things will start to get interesting from here on out.
Before we all went home I ordered Aqua to undo her magick on the water she summoned, but she said that she couldn't as doing so went against heaven's rules.
So we had no choice but to open the plugs that were on the sides of the tanks and let the water spill onto the floor again and throw all of the trash from the factory into the warehouse so no one could get their hands on it.
Tomorrow, we'll start fixing the building and maybe we might get some work without having to go to a Fixer.
Unbeknownst to anyone in our team videos of sick people drinking what was now being called the miracle cure began to spread through the net.
As usual, there were a lot of people that claimed that it was some kind of hoax, while others argued that they had taken it and were cured, and before Aqua and I knew it our pictures were spread through the city.
We didn't know it at the time, but we had unwillingly started something but what it was we wouldn't know until we were already too deep to get out.
The next day started, as usual, I could hear Aqua singing in the shower and Sasha who had taken to sleeping with us was still snoring next to me.
I looked at my messages and found that there were so many that my inbox just stopped taking them.
I opened the first three and stopped opening the messages after I read each of them, they were either threats or insults from people that didn't have anything better to do with their lives than to bother other people.
So I switched to the voice mails and smiled as I heard the first one, it was someone that needed us to help her sick person who couldn't leave their building.
So after we did our usual routine, we went and knocked on Gloria's door, but after no one answered, I sent her a message before we all went back to the factory.
We had to clean the first floor first before we could start fixing anything and as we walked inside, I felt my enemy detection skill along with my dodge and evade skill activate.
Out of pure instinct, I grabbed both Aqua and Sasha before I jumped out of the way, as we were about to hit what was left of a support beam I turned around and used it to jump down.
I immediately used my bind skill along with my snip skill to throw a wire toward a wall pulling us to safety.
The sound of gunfire and miniature turbines followed after us, and as we stopped to catch our breaths we saw the drones that were waiting for us inside the factory shooting at the areas we should have been standing on.
The glow of Sasha's eyes told me that she was either trying to hack the drones or calling for help.
As I watched the flying drones stopped shooting and begin to search for us, my enemy detection skill activated again, and I barely managed to teleport the three of us away before a metal box on wheels began to shoot at us.
Aqua and I gasped for air as we tried to wrap our heads around what just happened.
Even as we watched the drones explode one after another and Sasha said that there weren't any more drones or people with guns pointed at us.
We couldn't believe what just happened, someone just tried to kill us.
"Can you find out who sent them?" I asked Sasha who shook her head.
'No, whoever sent them and was controlling them covered their tracks." she answers.
"Hey, can you do something for me?" I say to her as I hand her my tablet.
'Can you separate all of the ones that are just insults or saying that we're fakes and delete them, but can you separate any of the ones that are threats if there are any?' I ask her and Sasha takes my tablet and begins to do what I ask her.
"Done, the ones that are green are people that want us to help them and the red ones are threats from corporations, the police, and anyone else," she says to me as she hands the tablet back to me.
'So what now?" Sasha asks me.
"We fix the Axis Church, of course,"
"If we run away from a small thing like this, then we have no right calling ourselves a church and I have no right being their goddess."
"The people need to know that their goddess won't hide from anyone, be it, devils or idiots," Aqua answers her, as she starts to walk towards the factory.
In a nearby car, a woman began to download everything her cameras had recorded before she destroyed them with a virus that made them explode.
She smirked, she had been hired to see what Blue and Green were capable of and while she didn't expect her plan to work, she had at the very least seen what Green was able to do.
