Welcome to my pointless tribute to King Kong! To find the lyrics of the original song, search for the lyrics of "land of the silver birch" I don't own the original version of the song this is based off of, or King Kong, because if I owned King Kong, he wouldn't die, but he would get back to Skull Island, find a nice giant-girl-gorilla, settle down, and start a family, but then again, I'm a sap. ;-)

Land of King Kong

Land of the giant bugs,
Home of the dinos,
Where still King Kong
Wanders at will

(Chorus)

Blue sea and New York shore,
King Kong lives forever more
Boom diddi ay dee

Boom diddi ay dee

Boom diddi ay dee

Boom

(Chorus End)

What has been done to you,
King of the Island?
What did they to you
King of the north.

Blue sea and New York shore,
King Kong lives forever more
Boom diddi ay dee

Boom diddi ay dee

Boom diddi ay dee

Boom

Swift as the silver fish,
Boat of steel bark
Thy might waterways
Take me forth

Blue sea and New York shore,
King Kong lives forever more
Boom diddi ay dee

Boom diddi ay dee

Boom diddi ay dee

Boom

There where the ruins lies,
I'll lay you down
With your family,
Silent and still

Blue sea and New York shore,
King Kong lives forever more
Boom diddi ay dee

Boom diddi ay dee

Boom diddi ay dee

Boom

If you didn't really understand the song, please don't flame me! I know that King Kong dies, so in the chorus it just means that he lives forever, especially in people's hearts. The second verse is just about King Kong going to New York, and the third verse it about King Kong being laid to rest by the bones of his family. (Like that would ever happen, why get rid of a perfectly good test subject?) The format of this may be a bit srewed up, but please don't get mad at me for that.

I hope that even if you don't like this, you don't hate it!
