Two Souls

A/N: I wrote this for an assignment in my creative writing class. Poetry isn't my thing, but I like it, and I thought afterwards it applied to The X-Files. It has no names so you can apply it to any couple you want! Enjoy!
Two souls in this world,
Alone at the start,
Now two souls connected,
Conjoined at the heart.
Two peas in a pod,
Two halves of a hole,
Two separate life journeys
With one separate goal.
To be with each other
And never part ways,
To love one another
'Til the end of their days.
He's all that she wants,
He needs only her.
They give reassurance,
When the other's not sure.
He fills up the void
That she's felt for all time.
She's the missing piece of his heart
That he's tried hard to find.
They're finally together,
And they know that they're love
Will last even when
One is sent up above.
