Chapter 9:
Since we had my amazing powers of mental flight, I managed to have our group skip a good portion of the map in the form of simply flying over to the center pillar and having it descend deep down into the bottom-most parts of Anor Londo. We didn't have to deal with the gargoyle oddly enough, because the Darkmoon Knightess simply told it to piss off and it listened! We then finally descended into the room at the very bottom, me lighting the bonfire as we then moved forward and Dorothea then stood at the fake wall and held the ring up to it.
"Lord Gwyndolin... you have some visitors, she said as we then descended the stairs and simply halted at the bottom before the fog wall from the voice of the darkmoon deity himself.
"HALT! None may enter my sanctum, lest you feel my wrath!" Gwyndolin said as Dorothea spoke.
"We weren't planning on it, Master Gwyndolin... we were hoping to have some answers for these new travelers," Gwyndolin said, me then looking at the wall and seeing that a single snake poked its head through to look at us.
"I sense another of the Darkmoon soldiers amongst the group... which one of you is that servant?" he asked.
"That would be me, Lord Gwyndolin. Pollocks the Necromancer," Pollocks said as he waved hi from atop my head, as the room was too small for the golem body.
"State what your business is after leaving for 20 years," the snake said with seriousness.
"My new friend and master of the blade, Master Holly, wishes to ask you questions... questions about Lady Gwynevere," he said, which immediately made the snake hiss before then retreating into the fog wall.
"What kind of questions do you dare to ask about my deplorable sister?" Gwyndolin asked, me looking into his mind with my own just to see what he saw... and when I did? I now knew exactly where Gwynevere was. She was hidden within his own soul, trapped via dark magics!
"I just have one request. Free Gwynevere from your soul," I said, Gwyndolin then hissing again before then doing something shocking. He sent a coil of snakes out and wrapped them around my neck before dragging me through the fog wall!
"I will NEVER do such a thing! And to dare demanding I free my sister from her prison, YOU! WILL DIE!" he shouted as I then did something. I burned the snakes around my neck with the ring of Chaos, which Gwyndolin hissed at as I then grabbed him in a headlock before using one final spell, that being Tranquil Walk of Peace, which prevented the snakey sneak from escaping via teleportation! "UNHAND ME, FOUL DEMON!" he shouted at me as I looked in his mind and saw something even more shocking... he wasn't doing this willingly! He was being mind-controlled in a similar fashion that Castor and Pollocks were! Only, in his case, he was being controlled by Seath the Scaleless, hence his snake-coated lower half!
"I will free you from Seath's corruption, even if I have to knock the sense into you!" I shouted as I then proceeded to try using the resist curse part of the ring and my spell, along with healing spells on him, but then I remembered... I was also affected by Tranquil Walk of Peace! And then, I gasped as I felt one of his snakes bite my foot, me shouting in pain as my allies finally managed to pile into the room from the fog wall and the walk of peace finally ended and Gwyndolin then forced the room to be its endless version and he teleported away further ahead!
"What's going on?!" Dorothea asked, me being shocked that she had joined in on the adventure, me motioning our group to the pillars as Gwyndolin then proceeded to send Homing Soulmass at us from far off!
"He's been mind-controlled by Seath the Scaleless! I need to get close to him so I can get the sense knocked into him, but not kill him, as Gwynevere is held captive in his very soul!" I shouted, Dorothea then nodding as we then moved forward, baiting Gwyndolin to attack with his spells as we got closer and closer before Dorothea tackled Gwyndolin to the ground and she placed something on him I was shocked by, it being a ring that halted all of his magic spells! I proceeded to then rush forward while she pinned him and I proceeded to use all the healing spells I could, but also remedy on both him and myself, in case the snake bite was poisonous. And after doing this and seeing just a hint more darkness inside of him, I proceeded to do one more thing.
"This may sting a bit!" I shouted at him as I then proceeded to punch Gwyndolin in the cranium, but making sure to hold my strength back. And after that hit, Gwyndolin then groaned in pain as he then looked around in confusion.
"Augh... my aching head... where am I?" he asked as the room returned to its normal state.
"Master Gwyndolin... do you remember anything? Anything at all?" Dorothea asked him.
"I... I think... Seath... that bastard! I REMEMBER NOW! I REMEMBER EVERYTHING!" he shouted in anger as I then saw his heart billowing out with flames before we then saw the form of Gwynevere emerge from it and she was now in the same room as us... and she looked to be very uncomfortable as of now due to the cramped corridors.
"Oof... at least you managed to rescue me... now to go above ground..." Gwynevere's giant form said as she then flicked her wrist and, in an instant, we had been warped to her throne room... and we saw that Ornstein and Smough were about ready to kill us, but they were immediately halted when they saw Gwyndolin.
"I remember everything now... nearly 200 years ago, the day of Lord Gwyn locking himself away in solitude with the First Flame... Seath commanded his Crystal Golems to raid our city of Anor Londo for experiments... he controlled my mind against my will, locking my beloved sister in my soul and making me think her as atrocious... before then mutating me to be a hideous abomination..." Gwyndolin said with sadness.
"And... where are my hand maidens?" Gwynevere asked in concern.
"They were kidnapped that same day... they are still within Seath's prison, which is guarded by the Lordvessel's seal... you, fair maiden... I must know your name to have saved me and my sister from that darkness," Gwyndolin said to me.
"Penny Pines... sorry for the bad hit to the head, by the way. I'd managed to get most of the dark curse lifted from you, so I felt the only thing left was to knock the sense into you," I admitted.
"Well, it worked... and I am forever grateful that you and your allies saved us," Gwyndolin said before Solaire spoke.
"We didn't do much. It was Penny and Dorothea that did most of the work," Solaire said.
"Not true. You helped distract Gwyndolin while Penny and I got closer and out of sight," Dorothea said.
"If you think about it, that's a very good strategy that Penny came up with," Castor smiled widely.
"Um... may we interrupt?" asked the voice of Ornstein, which spooked me when it sounded EXACTLY like the Dark Sauce version on Youtube! "Is our duty still to defend you and Lady Gwynevere? Or do we lead an attack on the Duke's Archives to defeat the traitorous dragon?" Ornstein asked, me sighing at that.
"Well... I think that miss Penny should give that order this time, since she rescued me and Gwyndolin from the dragon in question," Gwynevere said, me looking at the giantess goddess in shock before then recollecting myself, feeling the spotlight on me and solely me.
"Um... ahem... I think that your assistance would be appreciated, but I don't think it would be wise to attack Seath without a plan. Does he happen to be an immortal dragon?" I asked.
"He didn't use to be, but he became immortal from the discovery of the Primordial Crystal. So long as his soul resonates with it, Seath will be impervious to any and all damage. But we don't know where that crystal could be..." Ornstein frowned.
"Well, it's sure to be close to where his residency is. And since his base is outside of Anor Londo, he should have some kind of hiding space on the other side of that building. My guess, like most dragons, he hides his treasure in a cave," I said, which made Gwynevere gasp.
"Of course! The Crystal Caves! It's said to be filled with crystals of pure magical power! I'm sure this Primordial Crystal should be at the deepest parts of the cavern!" Gwynevere smiled widely.
"So... when do we strike?" Smough asked next, his voice also being the same as Dark Sauce.
"First, I need the Lordvessel and I need to meet up with Fraampt once again. And then, I made a promise that I'd defeat Gravelord Nito first for a group of young clerics," I said, the dragonslayer and executioner nodding at me. "Then, once that's done, I'll assist you in going after Seath to give that scaleless reptile some deserved payback for what he did to Gwyndolin and Gwynevere," I said with seriousness.
"Would you like to get your reward first? Before you leave?" Gwynevere asked, me looking back at her and smiling.
"Yes," was my simple answer.
"Heehee, okay," she said as she then cast a spell on the others to... trap them in time?! Awesome! I then was grabbed by the giantess gently before she then placed me on her giant chest, me smiling as I fondled them and she giggled. "You really are a weird heroine, aren't you?" she laughed at me.
"Well, you're beautiful, a giantess, and a goddess. All three of them being personal fetishes of mine... I'm never going to get a chance like this again in my life, so might as well capitalize on it, right?" I smiled at her as she giggled at me.
"I guess it would be a crime to miss out on such a feeling. That, and being able to do the same with a Minosian," she said, me smirking at that.
"It is weird being the giantess to someone else. I just wish he wasn't already in a family, or else I may ask if it'd be okay with him being in a relationship with me," I admitted... but then, something happened.
"You do realize that we don't care about polygamy in Minos, right?" I heard POLLOCKS speak! I then looked all over before then finally realizing that he was now on top of Gwyndolin's head and that he, Gwyndolin, and Dorothea were unaffected by the time stop!
"Whoa!" I shouted before then losing my balance on the squishy mountains and proceeding to fall down onto the ground and onto my back, me groaning from the impact, though luckily, it wasn't that big a fall from a giantess, just six feet.
"Sorry, we didn't want to interrupt your... ahem... charming moment," Dorothea smirked with a snicker, me facepalming myself.
"The time stopping technique is able to be resisted by the Darkmoon covenant," Gwyndolin spoke.
"Okay... I thought that I was alone with her in private... but uh... you heard that, Pollocks?" I asked, him nodding at me. "So... um... before I ask the obvious, I have another question... is the polygamy because of the Oolacile attacks?" I asked.
"Yes, it was. Most families don't last long, so we're encouraged to marry with as many as we can and have as many kids as possible," he said, me nodding at that.
"Alright... so... would you be willing to be my boyfriend despite the size difference?" I asked, him smirking at me.
"As thanks for freeing my god and goddess from their plights, saving my nation, and rescuing my wife Francesca and daughter Lauroca, I should be the one asking you. So, my answer is a firm yes... just don't get killed, please?" he asked, me nodding at him.
"Just make sure the same can be said for you," I smirked, me then picking him up gently and snuggling him to my face before he kissed my giant lips.
"I'd do the same to you, but I don't know if it'd hurt you," I admitted to him.
"It's like getting your air sucked out of your lungs," he admitted.
"I thought so. And now I know to treat Minos residents like you with gentleness," I smiled.
"And I am forever grateful," he smirked as the time stop then finally ended and I then saw the others looked confused.
"What... Why are you in a different spot, Penny?" Solaire asked.
"I had to do a small, private conversation between myself and Gwynevere about personal matters, since she was the one to summon me here, after all. But the time stopping doesn't affect Darkmoon members, which is why Pollocks is in my hand as well," I explained, him blushing a bit at me saying that.
"And why does he blush like that?" Castor asked.
"Well... we're a thing now, I guess," I smirked.
"A thing now? What does that mean?" Ornstein asked.
"Ugh... me and him sitting in a tree? Birds and bees? Any of these ringing a bell?" the whole group of them shook their heads no, me frowning at the fact that all of those phrases did not exist in this dreary world. "Ngh... We're boyfriend and girlfriend now. There, I said it, get your yucks out," I grumbled, the only one to laugh being Smough, but it was just a short, creepy chuckle, as expected from someone who liked torture and eating dead prisoners.
"I see... will his wife and kid be okay?" Solaire asked.
"Polygamy is allowed in my culture ever since the downfall of Oolacile, and we made it an unbreakable law now that our numbers are very low. We've even made more laws stating we can procreate with non-Minos peoples so long as they were proven not to be man eaters," Pollocks explained.
"I see... so... about that Lordvessel?" Solaire asked.
"Yes, yes, Solaire," Gwynevere giggled as she then produced the Lordvessel from above, it being used as a cover for a chandelier. "This Lordvessel had to be hidden by me to defend it from Seath's rampage. He would've tried to destroy it if he knew of its existence... take the Lordvessel to Fraampt and he will lead you to the resting place of my father and the First Flame. He will explain the rest when you meet him. Any questions?" Gwynevere asked, me having a very important one for sure.
"Yes, one question. Who was you and Gwyndolin's mother?" I asked, the duo then gasping and looking at each other before then looking at me again.
"Um... our mother... was the Witch of Izalith... and we were born shortly before her attempt to remake the First Flame... and now she is nothing more than a hollow husk, a catalyst for the Chaos Flame... sadly, when our mother dies, the flames of Chaos will be unleashed across the world without anyone to control them... so someone needs to be sacrificed to it so the flame will be quelled to nothingness," Gwynevere said, which actually tied into the second and third game plots, if you can believe it!
"But... who would we ask to be that sacrifice?" I asked.
"It has to be someone who has commited horrific atrocities in the past, so many that they will be able to quell the wrath of Chaos itself," Gwyndolin explained. I then looked over at the fat executioner and he looked at me with concern.
"Why do you look at me?" he asked.
"I don't know. Why do you think?" I asked, as I could already see into his mind. And I only saw one memory, it being enough to let me know he was deserving as the sacrifice. Him killing a family of three in front of each other, starting with the father, then the mother, and finally the crying child, before eating their raw bodies for supper. "Restrain him," I said, which Smough gasped at as he immediately readied his hammer to try and do his infamous charging hammer attack at me! But then he was stopped via a magical prison by Gwynevere!
"I would say no to restraining him, but I despised his treachery long before I met him in person... killing prisoners in Sen's Fortress, some of which committed minor infractions, just to quench his endless appetite for human flesh. He will be a perfect candidate for quelling Chaos," Gwynevere said with a stern gaze of a mother bear.
"In the meantime, we need to get back to Firelink Shrine," I said with seriousness.
"Use the Lordvessel, then. It will allow you to travel between activated bonfires across the world," Ornstein said with seriousness. "And believe me, I hate Smough as well. But I only worked with him because Gwyndolin told me to do so while under mind control," he said with disgust.
"I still expect you and Gwyndolin to protect me, in case Seath decides to send anything else to attack us, Dragonslayer Ornstein," Gwynevere smiled.
"But of course!" he said dutifully as I then gathered my group around the bonfire and had us travel to Firelink Shrine with the powers of the Lordvessel... and boy would the people at the shrine be shocked to see us emerge from the fire!
