All his life, it seems, can be neatly divided into before International Rescue and after.
He reached over and opened the concealed compartment in the console before him, taking out a small package of photographs. Life before. His breath caught as he slowly went through them. Him, and her. Laughing at each other, one of them kissing.
He had only loved two females in his life, and the second, the metal one, had stolen him from the first. He wiped a tear away as he carefully put the pictures back into their compartment.
Ironic, really. His metal love keeping safe the memories of his human love.
He wished there was some way he could have them both.
