Chapter Thirty-Eight: Dumb Love
Six Months Later…
Olivia stood in her kitchen washing and slicing strawberries for Jordyn for a snack. She was packing a bag for later, when she and Fitz took Jordyn to the fall festival in town. Olivia was excited for their little family day out. This would be Jordyn's first fall festival, hayrides, face painting, and petting zoo, and picking out her first little pumpkin. Olivia was more excited than anyone, and she was even more excited to dress Jordyn in the cute little outfit she'd found.
After slicing up the bananas, Olivia put them in a small container and put them inside the cooler bag she was bringing. She planned to eat any and everything at the festival, but Jordyn was a picky eater and Olivia wanted to make sure she had snacks on hand for her that she knew she'd eat. If it wasn't sweet or covered in cheese, Jordyn probably wasn't a fan.
Speaking of Jordyn, Olivia turned around smiling when she heard her baby girl's voice coming into the kitchen. She was crawling around on the floor with Fitz chasing behind her. She was giggling hard as she raced into the kitchen, her little pigtails bouncing as she went. She crawled over to her mother, who saved her a picked her up.
"Was daddy monster chasing you?" Olivia tickled her, but Jordyn didn't laugh. She was distracted by the banana she spotted on the kitchen bar. She grunted and stretched her little chubby hand towards the banana. "I swear you're going to turn into a banana one day." Olivia gave her half the banana and Jordyn immediately shoved it in her mouth."
"Hey easy." Fitz said in his dad voice, watching Jordyn's cheeks put in overtime to hold in all the banana she'd just shoveled into her mouth. "When did she get so fat?"
"Hey!" Olivia smacked Fitz on the arm. "Don't call her fat!"
"What she is. She looks like a little Pillsbury doughboy or dough girl." Fitz poked Jordyn's belly and Olivia couldn't help but laugh. Their baby girl was a little porker, a big belly, chubby cheeks and enough rolls on her legs and arms for two babies. But she was oh so cute.
"You're so mean, you need to learn how to talk to women."
"I got you didn't I?"
Olivia shook her head. "I don't count, I was young and naïve. And I fell for your tricks."
"Mhm… over and over again." Fitz pulled Olivia to him by the hem of her shirt, though he stopped halfway. Olivia looked at him with the What? Face. "Can I kiss you?"
Olivia was still looking at him weirdly. "Why would you ask me that?"
"I don't know. You've been a little hot and cold towards me lately. And after last week's argument-"
"I told you that wasn't an argument. We were just having a disagreement."
"It was a pretty loud disagreement, that ended with you throwing a pillow at the back of my head after you kicked me out of our bedroom."
Olivia smiled, holding in her laughter. "It was nothing, we're fine. I promise."
Fitz wasn't sure he completely believed her, but he let it go and pulled her the rest of the way against him, still holding onto her shirt. Jordan was squished between her parents as they slowly kissed. They were getting carried away when a voice pulled them apart.
"Gross! Would you two get a room?" Tabitha acted disgusted walking into the kitchen.
"This entire house is our room."
"Well then remember that you have guest. Isn't that right Theo." Theo just smiled and walked over to Olivia.
"Sorry Theo." Olivia picked him up when he reached up for her. Now she had JoJo on one hip and Theo on the other and he did not like that. It was no secret to anyone that Theo preferred Olivia over everyone else, even his own mother at times. And most of the time he was tolerant of JoJo, but not today.
"No!." Theo shouted, pointing at JoJo who was just smiling. "Down!"
"Theo be nice." Tabitha scolded him, but he paid her no attention.
"Down!"
"Do I need to remind you, again, that Olivia is my girlfriend?" Fitz went to take Theo from Olivia, but he threw a fit. Bucking and hollering as Fitz tried to wrestle him away.
"No! No!" He swatted at Fitz and popped him on top of the head.
"Theodore no!" Tabitha popped Theo twice on the hand. "We do not hit." Theo acted as if someone had popped him with a switch instead of a hand.
"Oh buddy." Olivia passed JoJo to Fitz and cuddled Theo. "It's okay." Olivia tried to soothe his crying by giving him the other half of JoJo's banana.
"That's what's wrong with him now Olivia. You spoil him."
"Him not spoiled." Olivia said in a baby voice, rubbing Theo's back. He was absolutely spoiled, and it was all Olivia's fault.
"The hell he isn't. And since you think he's such an angel, the next time he's being a little devil I'll be sure to drop him off with Aunty Liv."
Tabitha and Theo had come to town two days ago to spend the weekend with Olivia and Fitz and to take the kids to the festival. Tabitha also needed a little break from the city for a while and Olivia and Fitz's home was always quiet and calm. At least it had been while she was there.
But tomorrow wouldn't be as quiet, since they were all traveling back home. Tomorrow JoJo was getting baptized at Olivia's old home church. Fitz, Olivia and Tabitha were all driving down in the morning to her parent's house. The Grants would be in attendance as well and Marilyn had volunteered to host a little dinner party afterward.
"Are you guys doing anything on the tenth?" Tabitha casually asked, popping a grape in her mouth.
Olivia looked at Fitz and shrugged. "No. Why?" He asked.
"You mind going somewhere with me?"
"Where."
"Dinner."
"You're asking us to dinner?"
Tabitha nodded. "Yeah. You, Liv, me, and a guy."
Olivia smirked. "A guy?"
"Yeah."
"What guy?" Fitz asked with an attitude.
"Just a guy Fitz. We're having dinner on the tenth, and I want you and Liv to join us."
"I don't do double dates."
Olivia nudged Fitz with her elbow. "Of course, we would love to." Olivia answered for them both and Fitz rolled his eyes but accepted it.
"I'm going to get Jo dressed." Fitz left and the two ladies sat at the bar talking.
"So…" Olivia prodded, waiting for more information.
"Okay don't tell Fitz, but it's a blind date. I've never met the guy."
"Blind date?"
"Yeah, I met him… I met him on a dating website."
Olivia was shocked. She never would have thought Tabitha of all people would be on a dating site. She was gorgeous, smart, outgoing and had a killer personality. She could meet anyone she wanted. She didn't seem like the type of person that would even need to be on a dating website. Men hit on her all the time when they went out.
"I'm shocked Tab. I didn't think you did online dating sites."
"I know, and normally I wouldn't. But lately, I haven't had the best of luck with guys. Either they only want sex or my money or both. Or they find out who I am and who my family is and it intimidates them. The last guy I went out with took me to this really expensive restaurant because he was trying to impress me. But I knew he couldn't afford it, I tried to politely change his mind and suggest somewhere else less expensive, but he insisted. Long story short, when the bill came, he of course couldn't cover it. I offered to pay or even just do half and he got all pissy at me. He ended up splitting the bill between a bunch of different cards and tried to fuss at me for offering to pay. Something about being a man and I was emasculating him." Tabitha rolled her eyes. "Anyway, I cursed him out and left him at the restaurant. I'm so sick of these bitch babies perpetrating as men."
"I'm glad I don't have that problem anymore."
"My point exactly. You and Fitz are lucky to have one another, I just want that too. Especially now that I have Theo. I mean I know I can raise him on my own, but I don't want to have to. And I don't want Theo to grow up without a father. He has his uncles and grandfather, but a bond between a boy and his father is unmatched and I want Theo to have that."
"What website did you meet him on?"
"A single parents site. He has a little boy too, only a few months older than Theo. He's 31, a Libra, he went to the University of Miami, that's where he's from originally. He's an ad executive. He likes hiking, surfing, rock climbing, basically anything involving nature, he's run like five triathlons. We've been chatting online for a few months now, almost six to be exact and I'm finally ready to meet him. He's asked before, but I wasn't ready."
"What's his name?"
Tabitha hesitated for a moment. "John… John Smith."
Olivia gave her a look. "John Smith? That sounds-"
"Made up, I know. That's why I want you and Fitz there with me when I meet the guy. Just in case I'm getting catfished and a six-hundred-pound man rolls into the restaurant or if he does show up, but he's crazy. I know my big brother will have no problem kicking his ass for me." Tabitha laughed.
Olivia laughed in agreement. Fitz would absolutely have no problem defending his little sister. "Just give us a time and place."
"Alright, Jo is officially dressed." Fitz came back in the kitchen with a fully dressed JoJo, chewing on her fat fist. "Which means it's time to go before she ruins her outfit, and we have to change before we even leave the house."
"Oh don't you look so adorable." Olivia had picked out some burnt orange bell bottom pants, with a white long-sleeve onesie with a pumpkin that read lil pumpkin. She had a cream fluffy vest and a big bow on her head the same color as her pants. "Fitz where's your sweater?"
"Oh come on Livvie, I don't want to wear that." Olivia had gotten herself and Fitz matching sweaters that went with Jo's outfit. They had cream-colored sweaters with a pumpkin that read Mama and Papa.
"Fitz it's a set you have to match me and Jo."
"Why do we have to be the family that matches on the little outings."
"Because it's cute, and I want to take pictures in our matching outfits. Please Fitz, it's just one day."
Fits huffed. "Fine, but this is the only time. I'm not doing this every holiday."
Olivia smiled triumphantly. He was absolutely going to do this every holiday. Olivia had already a family costume in mind for Halloween and outfits and pajamas in mind for Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

It was about a month after their breakup that Alex finally went to see Quinn. She'd been staying with a friend until she eventually got her own apartment. When she moved the rest of her things out of Alex's apartment, she didn't do it herself. She sent her and Alex's mutual friends, which was awkward for everyone involved. Alex wanted to talk to Quinn the day after she came out to her parents, but she didn't know where she was staying. Their friends knew because they helped her to move into her new place. But Quinn had made them promise not to tell her.
She'd begged them nonstop to tell her where Quinn was staying, but they wouldn't stay. No one liked being in the middle of Alex and Quinn's drama, and they were not going to make it worse by telling Alex where Quinn was staying. The girl needed some space from Alex and they understood and respected that.
Alex, however, was not going to accept that. Nor was she going to accept that they were really over. No, this was another hiccup that they would eventually get over. She did, though, accept that her friends were not going to tell her where Quinn was staying so she decided she would find out for herself. Olivia told her to leave Quinn alone and to give her some space. And that maybe in the future Quinn would reach out to her to possibly be friends. But Alex didn't want to hear any of that. So against her sister's advice, she decided to stake out Quinn's job.
Olivia told her she was being ridiculous, and that stalking Quinn could land her in jail. But Alex didn't listen, instead, she insisted that her persistence was in fact romantic. She knew where Quinn worked and one day waited outside for her to come out. When she spotted her, she simply followed her until she made it home. Alex couldn't believe she didn't think to do this before. She could have known where Quinn was all this time.
Alex may have thought she was being romantic, but Quinn certainly did not. She was not happy when she opened her apartment door to find Alex standing there with a bouquet of roses.
"Alex what the hell?"
"Hey."
"How did you find me? Who told you where I lived?"
"No one. I… I followed you-"
"What?!"
"Before you say anything, I know it was extreme, but I didn't know what else to do. I've been calling you for weeks and no one would tell me where you'd moved."
"Because I asked them not Alex. I told you I needed space."
"I just need to talk to you." Alex pleaded.
Those damn eyes. They were pitiful, Quinn could tell Alex was not taking their breakup well. And if she was being honest, neither was she. It took a lot for Quinn to leave Alex. But she thought it would get easier after she'd finally done it. Alex missed Quinn terribly, it had only been a month and she didn't know how much longer she could last. Alex was like a drug to her and now that they weren't together, she was having withdrawals. Drinking a bottle of wine just about every night, constantly looking at old pictures of the two of them, and sleeping in Alex's shirt she'd stolen a long time ago. She didn't know what the future had planned for the two of them, but Quinn hoped that even if they weren't together, one day they could at least be friends. Because she honestly didn't think she could go on without Alex in her life.
"What is it Alex?"
Ale relaxed, "Well first off these are for you." She handed Quinn the flowers. "They are part of my apology and a thank you."
"Thank you?"
"I know I should have come out to my parents years ago, and I know I was wrong for so many things in our relationship. But my biggest regret is not loving you the way I should have. You were right, I was scared. Scared of so many things, for so many years and I let that fear ruin you and I. I wasn't ready to love you the way you needed and deserved, but I'm ready now. I'm not scared anymore. Quinn I love you and I don't care anymore who knows it. You gave me the strength and courage to finally come out to my parents."
Quinn's eyebrows raised in shock. Sure Dianna already knew after she caught them together, but Alex had actually confirmed it.
"Alex-"
"I know we've been through a lot, and most of it is my fault. But I'm not that same person anymore. I've changed… changed for you. I just need another chance to show you."
Quinn was more than moved by Alex's words. And if this had been a few years ago, she would have given in. But she couldn't, not this time. Alex was right, they had been through a lot and most of it was on Alex. But Quinn knew she had some blame as well. Afterall their biggest problem was the hiding, hiding their relationship and although it was Alex's idea. Quinn went along with it. She could have said no and walked away years ago, but she chose to stay and play the role of a roommate. Both of them needed to change, not just Alex.
"Alex I… I'm sorry. I can't."
"No. Don't say that. You can." Alex pleaded. "Quinnie I did it for you. I finally did it."
"It's too late. I'm sorry." Quinn softly closed the door just as a single tear fell from her eye.

Alex thinks about that day, five months ago, almost every day. It was the last time she saw or spoke to Quinn. Alex wanted to listen to Olivia's advice and give Quinn the space she asked for and hope than she would eventually come back to her. It wasn't easy though, just leaving her alone. Alex had to stop herself plenty of time from going over to Quinn's place or calling her. They still had the same friends and still hung out in the same bars and clubs. But Quinn made sure not to attend any friend function she knew Alex would be at. And she knew which days she could go to certain bars or clubs to avoid running into her. As spontaneous as Alex could be, she was also a creature of habit. She went to certain bars and clubs on certain days to meet up with friends and it'd been that way for years. Quinn knew her routine and easily avoided her. Except for today. Quinn was with a few of her friends from work. After having a particularly stressful week, they decided to treat themselves to a night out. They were going to go dancing at a club tonight, but before that they were having brunch at one of her favorite spots. Quinn always came here, maybe three times a week for their French toast and salted caramel hot chocolate. She walked in with her arm looped through one of her friends. Taylor was her bestie at work, their coworkers started calling them work wives because they were always together. When Quinn walked in the restaurant, she felt different, like someone was watching her. But she told herself to stop being paranoid and followed their waitress to their booth by the window.
They ordered bottomless mimosas for the table and toasted to a good night. Ordered their food, talked, laughed and joked around until the bill came. Quinn was enjoying herself, but the entire time, she just couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She couldn't shake the feeling and began swiveling her head around the restaurant. On her second pass, she spotted who she was looking for. In the back on the other side of the room was Alex. She was sitting in a booth against the wall with Chance and a few of their other mutual friends.
They locked eyes and Quinn was frozen. She hadn't seen Alex in months, not since that day at her apartment. Quinn thought about that day a lot. Mainly she thought about how Alex looked that day. She looked terrible. Dark circles under her red eyes, her hair was a mess as if she hadn't combed in weeks, and she was wearing old baggy clothes. She didn't look like herself. But today, it was a complete turnaround. She looked refreshed. There were no dark circles under her eyes, nor were her eyes bloodshot like she'd been crying for days. She was dressed in a pair of black jeans and a white sweater with holes cut out. Her hair looked like she'd finally put a comb through it and even a curling iron. She looked like Alex again, not some sad shell of her former self.
They were still staring at one another, but when Alex smiled at Quinn, she looked away.
Alex had noticed Quinn the moment she walked in. Chance had called her this morning and invited her to brunch, and she didn't have anything else planned. She didn't know where they were headed until they got to the restaurant. She knew this place well. Quinn used to drag her here all the time, she was addicted to their French toast. And Alex was fond of their chicken and waffles with the spicy, strawberry butter.
Chance had noticed that Alex's attention had been elsewhere for the duration of their meal, and he was about to ask her what had her so distracted. Then he noticed she was having a staring contest with someone and followed her gaze. He sighed when he noticed Quinn across the restaurant. They were on the other side of the room, but they still had a clear shot of one another.
"Alex." Chance called her name to break her gaze. "Lex come on."
"What?" Alex said.
"Stop staring at her."
"I'm not." Alex defended herself, tearing her gaze off Quinn.
"Bitch please." Trey, Chance's boyfriend, laughed. "I've been eating off your plate for the past fifteen minutes and you haven't noticed."
"What?" Alex looked down at her plate and noticed a good chunk of her food was missing. "Hey!" She laughed and stole some of his food off his plate. "I'm sorry, I just haven't seen her in a while."
"Months. And it's been a good thing." Chance said. "I love you girl, but you are sprung over that girl. You needed those months apart because you were a mess."
"I wasn't that bad."
"The hell you weren't, bitch I broke three combs combing out that matted bird's nest." Trey said, he'd been the one to tackle Alex's hair and get it back to its former glory.
Alex laughed, and tossed a napkin at Trey's head. "Fuck you."
Chance was laughing too. "But seriously Alex, you are doing a lot better now. Better at work, with the band. You got that new gig and you're being paid twice as much. You and your folks are doing much better, you stopped partying as hard and you even stopped drinking."
"Ugh, please don't remind me." Alex rolled her eyes, she really did miss a good cocktail every now and then. But she'd decided to quit because it was getting out of control. She knew she couldn't live her life partying and drinking almost every night. She had to grow up and get her life together.
"My point is, you're finally in a good space. Mentally and physically."
"I'm gonna go talk to her."
"No!" Both Chance and Trey said at the same time.
"What? I'm just going to say hello."
"No." Chance and Trey again spoke at the same time, this time much quieter.
"What's the problem with saying a quick hello to an old friend?"
"Because she isn't an old friend-" Chance said.
"Yes she is." Alex cut him off.
"You don't scissor with old friends." Trey said, making everyone laugh again. "And the last time you saw her, you almost went off the deep end. Maybe we should just leave her be and get out of here."
Alex stole one more glance at Quinn, she wasn't looking back anymore. Now it looked as if she was trying hard not to look her way to avoid locking eyes again. Alex did have to admit that she had been doing much better in the past months. Not being with Quinn has really helped her to discover herself. She'd cut a lot of toxic things and people from her life and she was thriving. She didn't want to say the reason was because of her split, but it was a catalyst for sure. She would like to be able to be friends with Quinn, but maybe Chance and Trey were right. Maybe she should just leave Quinn in the past.
Alex sighed. "Fine. Let's go."
Chance and Trey were both relieved when Alex finally agreed to them leaving. They were trying to avoid a scene. They paid their bill, gathered their things and headed out. They had to pass Quinn's table to get to the door, but Alex looked straight ahead as if she didn't see Quinn. She made it look easy to walk away, but it was a struggle. Especially when she got a whiff of Quinn's perfume in the air.
Quinn held in her breath when she noticed Alex gathering her things to leave. She tried to act as if she was focused on the conversation at her table, but she'd been zoned out for a while now. The closer Alex got to her table, the more nervous she got, the faster her heart beat. When Alex was just a few steps away, she braced herself. But to her surprise, Alex walked right past her. She just knew Alex would stop and speak. With the way she'd been staring at her, she was expecting at the very least a hello.
Alex was walking side by side with Chance and Trey on their way to do some retail therapy. They weren't too far from the restaurant when they heard Alex's name being called. They were all shocked when they turned around and saw Quinn jogging toward them. They stopped to let Quinn catch up to them. Chance and Trey looked at each other a little skeptical. They had successfully made it out of the restaurant without incident, they didn't want to cause a scene now on the street.
"Hey." Quinn said. "Chance, Trey haven't seen you in a while."
"Yeah, it has been a minute." Chance replied.
Quinn turned her attention to Alex who hadn't said anything yet. "Hey Alex."
Alex smiled. "Quinn."
"I saw you in the restaurant, thought you would have come by to say hello before you left."
"I didn't want to disturb you or your friends."
"No, I wouldn't have minded. I was actually a little offended you didn't stop." The friends Quinn was eating with had joined her on the sidewalk now. "You look great by the way. Better. How have you been?"
"Thanks." Alex was looking at the girl standing next to Quinn. She'd noticed when they walked in that Quinn's arm was looped through hers. She had no right to feel jealous, but she couldn't help it. She managed to stop staring daggers at the girl and turned her attention back to Quinn. "I've been great. Busy the band got a new gig and it's been keeping me busy."
"New gig that's great."
"Yeah, we play down at the Red Room now."
"The Red Room, wow… that's amazing." Quinn was happy for Alex. Happy that she was doing well, better than the last time she saw her. And although she was happy for Alex, she was still somewhat sad that she seemed to be doing so much better without her. Quinn knew she was the one who broke things off with Alex and she couldn't be upset that she was moving on with her life. She'd been thinking about that night at her apartment and regretted sending her away. That day Quinn knew she still wanted a break from their relationship, but she didn't want to go months without seeing or hearing from her.
Quinn noticed how Alex was looking at Taylor with an upturned lip. "This is Taylor." Quinn introduced her, and Taylor waved at them with a smile.
"I'm the work wife."
Quinn's upturned lip turned into a scowl.
"Taylor's a good friend of mine from work. These are all my coworkers." Quinn made a point to stress the word friend, so there would be no confusion for anyone.
"Nice to meet you all, we should get going." Alex turned around, but Quinn caught her by the wrist.
"It was good seeing you again Alex. Listen we're going out tonight, hitting a few bars you should join." Quinn suggested, still holding onto Alex's wrist.
Alex subtly pulled her arm back, although she didn't want to. "Sorry, I don't really get out much these days. But it was good seeing you Quinn." This time when Alex walked off, Quinn didn't attempt to stop her.
Quinn didn't know when her resolve began to break regarding Alex. She was strong a steady for months, and then she began to miss her ex. She knew this back and forth wasn't healthy for either of them, but she knew that she could never just cut Alex from her life completely. They were a drug for one another, and she needed a fix.
"So that's the infamous Alex." Taylor said, watching her walk away. Quinn had vented to Taylor all about Alex, including how and why they broke up. "She's a lot hotter than you said she was. Nice to meet the competition."
Quinn wasn't listening to Taylor until she said that last part. People around the office had told her that Taylor had a thing for her, but she didn't pay them any mind. It didn't matter to her anyway, because Quinn didn't see Taylor in that way at all. In fact, she hadn't felt anyway about anyone since she and Alex met.

"Oh how precious!" some random lady said as she passed by Jordyn. They had been getting compliments all day long on how cute Jordyn was.
"Thank you." Olivia smiled at the woman as she walked away. She was taking pictures of Jordyn playing in a hug corn pit. They had been at the festival for a couple hours now and the kids were having a great time. They had finger painted, got face paints. Visited the petting zoo, and ate just about everything the festival offered. Olivia was surprised at how much Jordyn was eating, she hardly touched what Olivia had packed for them.
"I don't understand what is so fascinating about this." Fitz said, standing like a grumpy old man watching his daughter and nephew frolic in a pit of dried corn kernels. "This is worse than a sandbox. Have you ever gotten sand in your crotch? I can only imagine how a hard-ass kernel would feel."
Olivia laughed, taking a picture of Fitz. "Stop being so grumpy. She's having the time of her life." And she was, squealing every time she grabbed a handful of corn and tossed it.
"It's making her ashy. Look at her she looks like she's been playing in flour."
Olivia laughed out loud again. Her little girl was a little ashy now. "Get in there and take a picture with them." Fitz sighed, but he climbed in the corn and posed for a picture with JoJo and Theo. After Olivia snapped the picture, Theo started putting handfuls of corn on Fitz's head. His little evil laugh as he piled the corn on Fitz's head made Fitz laugh as well.
"I hope you got that picture." Tabitha said, coming to them with a corn dog and hot pretzel.
"I did! It's so cute, I'll make sure to send it to you." Olivia was still snapping as Fitz tossed Theo in the corn and buried him beneath it, leaving his chubby face poking out. But Theo was done, when he saw his mom with a corndog, not all he wanted to do was eat again.
"You're so greedy." Tabitha laughed. "We might want to start making our way to the hayride anyway. Our ticket is for the 3 o'clock ride."
They all walked to the hayride and sat on the side, with the kids looking over the edge. It was so cute watching their little excited faces every time they saw something new. Theo really got excited when he saw all the scarecrows in the field. And JoJo couldn't stop laughing when they passed some cows and they started mooing. Olivia captured it all on her camera, grateful for this fun family day. She enjoyed spending time with Fitz without distractions. Normally Fitz had his phone glued to his ear, but today he gave all his attention to his family.
JoJo and Theo both fell asleep on the car ride home, a shock to no one. After all the running around they did, and all the sugar they ate, everyone excepted them to be out for the next few hours.
"I am so tired." Tabitha plopped on the couch, taking off her boots. "I think that last funnel cake was a bad idea." Tabitha rubbed on her visible food baby. "I think I'm going to follow the babies lead and take a nap."
"I told you not to eat all that crap. Now we know why Theo is so greedy."
"Shut up." Tabitha groaned, slowly rising on the couch to go to the guest room. She tossed a pillow at Fitz as she walked away.
Fitz smirked and then leaned back on the couch, he was tired himself. Walking JoJo around the pumpkin patch and chasing after Theo every time he took off took most of his energy. He was on his way to sleep, when Olivia plopped down on his lap. He cracked one eye open to see her smiling at him, before he closed his eye again.
"What?" He asked with his eyes still closed.
"Today was fun."
"Yeah it was." Fitz cracked another eye open. "What?" He chuckled. Everyone else in the house was tired and ready to pass out for a few hours, all except Olivia.
"You sleepy?" Olivia asked, already knowing the answer.
"Mhm."
"Like really sleepy?"
Fitz found this conversation quite humorous, but she was beginning to sound like a kid asking for something without actually asking. "Liv what do you want?"
Olivia didn't answer him, instead she silently pulled on the buckle of his jeans. This time Fitz opened both his eyes, watching Olivia unbuckle his jeans.
"What has you so energized?" He asked. Olivia smirked and shrugged her shoulders. When she unzipped his pants, she scooted off his lap, pulling his jeans down. Fitz lifted his hips so she could drag his pants down to his ankles. She stayed on her knees, looking up at Fitz through hooded eyes as she took his dick in her mouth. Fitz's head instantly fell back on the couch, his finger weaving through Olivia's hair. She didn't do this often, but when she did, Fitz was in heaven.
"Fuck." Fitz may have been Olivia's first in everything, but it certainly didn't feel like it at times. The way she sucked, hallowing her cheeks around his dick. Massaging his balls as her warm, wet mouth bobbed up and down. Fitz watched his hard dick sliding between Olivia's plumped lips again and again. She hadn't down this for him in a while and he didn't know how long he would last.
The grip he had on her hair was tightening the closer he got to his orgasm. Olivia doesn't know why she doesn't do this more often. Fitz always had his head between her legs and he always took control in the bedroom, Olivia liked to be in the captains chair every once in a while. She knew he was close as his grip on her head continued to tighten. It hurt, but she didn't stop. She moved faster, taking more of him in her mouth. Then she sucked as much as she could at once, feeling the head of his dick touching the back of her throat. She moaned and that was all it took for Fitz to lose himself in the back of her throat.
She continued sucking him off until the last drop and his spasms had ceased. When he was done, she release him with a pop.
Fitz pulled her back on his lap, kissing her hard, leaving her lips bee stung. "What's gotten into you today?"
Olivia giggled. "I was hoping you."

I don't want these last few chapters to seem rushed or cut off, but I am coming to a close end with these characters.
