Robin kissed her, and he meant it. The awaiting expectance thrived in him, he couldn't help it. She had similarities, they fought together in battle, the nonexistent relationship was now in his presence. She was aware of it as well.

His eyes concealed beneath his mask, the wonders that would forever hold its peace. They finally pulled apart, savoring the kiss in their lips, the tender relaxation that would ease their thoughts.

"Robin?" The girl asked. His eyes still beneath his mask, he glanced at her though slightly opened eyes.

"Yeah?"

"Do you love me?" She queried.

"More than anything else." Robin replied.

"I love you too." She informed, pressing her lips softly against his once more. "If you loved me, you would take off your mask." She whispered though her kryptonite kiss. Robin smiled.

"You can see the truth." He leaned close for her to outstretch her hands. She hesitated, then the clouds above them began to throb painfully with lightning. The rain came, showering them with lust filled hearts.

Her hands fingered the mask, and she gingerly pricked her fingers beneath her mask, and she pried it gently from his face, savoring the final moment. His eyes, his sapphire eyes. The oceanic pattern around the iris, the sky embedded color that pierced the night.

"Robin." The girl whispered. She was leaned across his knees, and he was kneeling over her, her body in his arms. "They're…"

But he cut her off abruptly, leaning in to suppress her thoughts, feebly pressing his lips against hers.

"Every hero has his kryptonite." He murmured, he responded finally. The teenage girl grinned, a rare occasion. She was stripped down from her usual uniform so her stomach, arms and legs were exposed. Her hair was down to her waist.

"I'm guessing I'm one of them?" She queried.

"My only one," He grinned at her expense. "Oh and one more thing…"

"Yeah?" She laced her arms around his neck.

"Happy birthday, Raven."
