Abhijeet reached bureau with a smiling face. Daya saw him smiling so thought he is in good mood so it would be better if Tarika talk to Abhijeet now. He was about to call her when a new case was reported. So, he refused the idea for now. The case was solved till late afternoon. The case file was also completed. Daya asked –
Boss file complete hogyi h… HQ jaoge dene?
Abhijeet (casual tone) – Soch rha hun Rajat ko bhej dun… main yhi relax krunga… tum bhi relax kro. Yahin coffee mangwa lete h…
Daya (surprised) – Acha! Tum aur relax krne ki baaten kr rhe ho… kya baat h!
Abhijeet – Han toh… nhi kr skta kya?
Daya – Theek h…main Rajat ko bol deta hun file dene ke liye.
Daya went to tell Rajat and thought in mind –
Sahi mauka h… abhi Tarika ko call kr deta hun… Boss ache mood mein h… And then he secretely called Tarika and informed her. Tarika came to bureau with a file in her hand, within 10 minutes and saw Abhijeet was standing near the window and chatting with someone on whatsapp and smiling. She looked around and found Daya who gave her thumbs up and encouraged her to go ahead. Rest of team was enjoying snacks in the bureau canteen. Tarika cleared her throat to gain Abhijeet's attention, but Abhijeet didn't look up. He continued chatting and side by side sipping his coffee. Daya again looked at her and encouraged her to speak. Tarika came towards to Abhijeet and spoke nervously –
Hi Abhijeet.
Abhijeet (with smile now looked up) – Hello Dr. Tarika.
Tarika (stammering) – Voh… main… voh… ye file lekr aayi thi… tumhare sign chahiye the ispr.
Abhijeet (finishing the last sip of his coffee) – Han laayiye abhi kr deta hun.
Abhijeet started reading the file while Tarika was nervously looking down and again looked at Abhijeet. Meanwhile Abhijeet signed the file and handed over to Tarika. She took the file and when Abhijeet was about to move away she stopped him –
Abhijeet… kuch baat krni h tumse.
Abhijeet (still looking at his phone said) – Han kahiye…
Seeing Abhijeet is not paying attention to Tarika, Daya came towards them while Tarika spoke again –
Abhijeet… tum meri taraf dekh bhi nhi rhe ho… ek baar meri baat sunlo.
Abhijeet (looked up) – Main sun rha hun Dr. Tarika. Kahiye?
Tarika – Abhijeet… jo kuch bhi hua… I mean jo maine kiya… I am Sorry… mujhe… interuppted
Abhijeet (soft tone) – It's alright Dr. Tarika… Relax.

Abhijeet (putting his phone in his pocket, serious tone) – Theek h. (Looking directly in her eyes and same soft tone) – Kahiye… kya sunu main?
Tarika (ashamed tone) – Abhijeet… main sach mein bhut sharminda hun… jo bhi maine kiya uske liye…
Abhijeet (same tone) – Maine kaha na aapse… it's alright… toh baat khtm.
Daya (disappointed tone) – Abhijeet… kya h ye… ek baar usee puri baat krne ka mauka toh do… (again soft tone)… Please Abhi… tum toh ese nhi the na…
Abhijeet (serious tone) – Esa nhi tha… ab hun… kya sunu main… aur kyu sunu main… (looking at Tarika) – Kya manga tha maine tumse btao mujhe? Sirf tumhara sath… tumhara bhrosa… Bhrosa chaha tha tumse taras nhi… (Tarika remembered what she said to Abhijeet) mujhe kabhi manjoor nhi k koi mujh pr taras khaye… Tumne meri self respect ko chot phunchai h… Daya ke baad sabse jyada bhrosa maine tum pr kiya tha… Pr tumne toh…
Tarika (teary tone) – Abhijeet… mujhse galti hogyi…
Abhijeet (smiling sarcasticly) – Nahi galti toh mujhse hui thi… jo maine tum pr bhrosa kiya…
Daya (in shock on his words) – Abhijeet!
Abhijeet (serious tone) – Kitne saal hogye h inhe CID mein? (to Tarika) – Tum btao kitne saal hogye h tumhe CID mein aaye hue… Kya kabhi esa nhi huya k koi kaam tumne chup kr kiya ho isse pehle… Jis din maine tumhe voh pant di thi… jis pr Daya ka khoon lga hua tha… us din Salunkhe sir central lab jaane wale the… jaanti thi na tum… Waha jaane mein 1 ghanta lgta h… aane jaane mein hi 2 ghante ho jaate h… km se km Salunkhe sir us din 2.5 se 3 ghante lab mein nhi the… tumne usi waqt pr voh khoon test kyu nhi kiya… Tumne raat ko chori chipe aakr lab mein test kiya… jbki usmein pkde jaane ka pura khtra tha… tumhe pta thi na ye baat… (Tarika nodded in yes)
Tumhare ghar pr bhi ek forensic kit h… tumhare CID ke laptop pr bhi hmari information rehti h… jisse Daya ka DNA aasani se mil skta tha… apne ghar pe bhi test kr skti thi na tum… kyu nhi kiya?
Tarika didn't have any answer to these questions. Of course, Abhijeet was right. She could have done that. Abhijeet again –
Voh Lakshita aur Indrani wala case yaad h… jisme Dr. Salunkhe ne galat report bnai thi… us case mein bhi tumne chupkr hm logon ko information di thi… toh is case mein bhi toh esa ho skta tha na… nhi hua… (loud tone) kyunki tumhe mujhpr bhrosa hi nhi tha.
Tarika (defeated tone) – Nhi Abhijeet… esa nhi h.
Abhijeet (sarcastic tone) – Esa hi h Dr. Tarika… Zra apne shabdon ki yaad kijiye… phir koi safai dijiye… (repeating her words) "Kya kiya maine Daya ke saath" In shabdon mein bhrosa nhi sirf shaq bhra h Dr.
Bhagwaan na kre Tarika… kbhi tumpr esi koi musibat aaye… I promise you… main btaunga tumhe k saath dena kise kehte h… ek pal bhi tumhe akelapan mehsoos hua toh kehna tum. Main tumse ye kabhi nhi kahunga k tumne mujhe musibat mein daal diya h. (Tarika realised her own words)
Tarika (giving last try) – Lekin Abhijeet… tum mujhe ek mauka toh do… hmare rishte ki khatir hi sahi…
Abhijeet (same tone) – Rishta… Dr. Tarika shayd aap apne shabd bhool gyi h… lekin main kuch nhi bhula hun… Aapne kaha tha k aap mujhe sirf pasand krti h… pasand krne se koi rishte mein nhi bndh jata.
Tarika (in shock) – Toh kya jo kuch bhi tha… hmare beech… bina naam ka hi sahi… voh sb khtm.
Abhijeet (looked into her eyes directly and in a serious tone) – Dr. Tarika… main aapko dokhe mein nhi rakhna chahta… sach kehta hun… I don't feel the same way I used to feel about you… not anymore.
Saying so he left, Daya kept standing there for a while. He didn't what happened between Abhijeet and Tarika because it did not happen in forensic lab or bureau so he couldn't get the CCTV footage and Abhijeet did not tell him anything. Tarika was also standing there with her head down, while Daya broke the silence and asked her –
Esa aur kya -2 kaha tha tumne Abhijeet se Tarika?
Tarika narrated him all. Daya was in shock listening the details. He didn't knew Abhijeet bore this much that too due to Tarika. After listening all, He said –
Aaj pehli baar maine Abhijeet ko khud ke kuch kehte suna h… khud ke liye aawaaz uthate dekha h… aaj pehli baar usne apne rishton ko chod ko khud ko sabse uper rakha h… jo k sahi bhi h Tarika… shayd waqt ke saath sb pehle jaisa ho jaye…. Ya shayd nhi… tum apna dhyaan rakhna.
Saying so, he too left from there.

Guys I think… Tarika deserved this. She could have helped him but she didn't. And Abhijeet should take stand for himself which I tried here.
