Chapter 669: More to look forward to.
(November 26. Rosato Residence at the backyard, Rose Street. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
The season of fall is still ongoing and we see that the backyard, well the expanded backyard of the Rosato's is still looking lively and several new water-type Pokémon are now taking refuge here as well, in the forms of: Sobble, Dewpider, Froakie, Oshawott, Panpour and Tympole.
But still in the lake, is the Pokémon companion of Jordan, Seaking and she recently got herself a Pokéball for her companion, for when she needs to travel and when her Seaking wants to come along, that means Jordan is the second person in town to wield a Pokéball.
Jordan pets the head of Seaking, and the fish smiles and then she feeds her some Pokémon food, then a Wooper goes over and she feeds him too. Jordan then sees the water has bubbles. "Here we go."
Gyarados surfaces and roars, and riding on his head, is his partner Lincoln Loud, and the boy removes his snorkel and he cheers. "Woohoo! Let's go, big guy!" The Gyarados then dives back in, and Jordan has an umbrella and she is shielded by the large splash, but Ajax isn't and he panics and runs away.
Then Gyarados surfaces again, and Lincoln lays on his head and laughs. "That was awesome, that was an awesome ride down there, Gyarados and I am surprised that Shelder have taken refuge here, along with Luvdisc." Gyarados nods, and then rests his head on the shallow waters.
Lincoln also rests there, and then he looks to his left and sees a Slowpoke looking at him, and its weirdo smile. "Ummm, hi there?" Slowpoke then ignores Lincoln, and goes to this rock, and sits there, with his tail in the water and Lincoln knows what this guy is looking for. "Normal as they usually are."
Not too far, we see Luna Loud and Sam Sharp, and they watch as this fun time goes on. Sam then asks. "So, no word from the counterparts?"
Luna sighs. "No, not a single reply. Seems like this is one busy month for them, sure wish I could speak to them, but I don't wanna be a bother to their missions or whatever it is those dudes are doing. It's also been some time since we last trained with them, and yet our traits still remain strong and awesome."
Sam nods. "Yeah, I mean it would be nice to see how far I can go with the use of my powers, and also see how we can handle the next trouble and then shove their chaos back down their rears. Also, I hope that when we do get the chance to meet with our counterparts, they can tell us why they have been busy and the whole thing you wanna ask from them."
Luna knows what she means. "Yeah, Christmas is coming soon, next month and I wanna give my son something nice, something he deserves ever since he got Gyarados, something so awesome it would truly help him for when trouble comes. He can technically bring the big guy with him with the Luxury Pokéball and all that, but he needs something to boost the big sea dragon's defense and power."
Sam nods, and she places a hand on her girlfriends shoulder. "I hear ya. Lincoln pretty has the most powerful and most scary bodyguard ever, and yet he also has that little dude." They see Dartrix on the tree and he is talking to a Noctowl.
Sam then asks. "How's Delilah?"
Luna then explains. "Still in bed, still with a common cold and still can't do anything. She hates this, a lot. But she can't stop the common cold from just coming and going, and Linc tends to have it, when summer or spring comes up. Delilah should be fine after two days or something. Let's just steer clear of her and..." They then hear a commotion, coming from the outer walls of the backyard.
Jordan knows what that is and she seems annoyed. "Here we go again, guys." she then looks to the water-type Pokémon in the lake. "Alright gang, except for you..." she sees the dull looking Slowpoke whose eyes look broken. "Water gun."
The Water-Type Pokémon send their watery attack, and it arches over the wall and sprays onto the tourists on the other side, making them wet and it is chilly outside and that means the tourists will be soaking wet, and chilly. They can hear the complaints and panicked cries from the other side, and the tourists take their leave, and some of them rant and yell at what had happened.
Jordan smirks and then she looks to the lake with the creatures in it. "Good job guys" The Water-Type Pokémon cheer at what they have done, and they all proceed to do what they normally do, then Lincoln asks.
"Either Seaking is your companion, or everyone else in this lake?"
Jordan chuckles. "Not really, Seaking is my buddy." she pets Seaking. "But the others, they know when they need to defend their home, and apparently Mayor Davis has locked down the Parks and the Loud House from tourists to ever go near there, good job from her."
Luna and Sam walk over to them, and then Sam asks. "So, any issues from tourists after sending them off?"
Jordan then explains. "They complain to the mayor and the police, but we have surveillance footage and it shows that we did that to scare them off of our property and to ensure they stop bothering the local wild life residing here, and the only power housed water dragon Pokémon, and that means their complaints means nothing to everyone, and it is their own fault for starting it by coming here to bother us, and the mayor issues warnings to tourists who file complaints."
Lincoln smirks. "That means there is no god damn way that they can do anything. They got no power in Royal Woods, heck they can't do anything. They can demand all they want, but that kinda attitude won't do them no good. A bunch of annoying and bothersome pests they are."
The others also agree with that, and then they all calm down and relax, and enjoy this peaceful moment before next month arrives.
(The Loud House, Franklin Avenue.)
Harriet had finished with the laundry and Michelle Lewis Loud is not there, she is helping the mayor with the annual Royal Woods Winter Festival which will be held on, December 10, but before that is the annual Royal Woods December Parade, and apparently the Louds and Rosato's and Sharp's have something planned for that one.
Harriet then sees Leslie is going through something in her notes. "What are you doing?"
Leslie then notices Harriet. "Oh, hey great grandma Harriet. Just trying to figure out what to do on my very first December date, with Stella. This is something I need to figure out on my own, and also a heads up on what's going on upstairs, Delilah is still sick."
Harriet nods. "Yes, I am aware. I just hope she doesn't try to get out of bed and try something. She usually seems like someone who wants to be busy and help, well for once she should stop and calm down. Has Adelaide Chang arrived to ask about her yet?"
"No, she hasn't and..." Then the doorbell rings. "Freaky." Leslie goes to the door and she opens it, and of course it is Adelaide Chang, the little sister of Sidney "Sid" Chang. "Hi there, Adelaide and you brought your Pokémon companion with you too." She sees Hakamo-O.
Adelaide nods and then she speaks. "Can I go and see my sensei? I wanna hand her something that my mom and dad made that could help her with this common cold, and don't worry about me getting sick." she then puts on a face mask. "I am prepared."
Harriet and Leslie are surprised, and so they let her pass, and Adelaide smiles and she skips and then heads up the stairs, with her first aid kit in hand. Harriet then speaks. "That little girl, I don't know why, but she kinda scares me."
"Same here, Great Grandma Harriet" replied Leslie.
To be continued in the next chapter.
A/N: Let us hope that the counterparts can come, and talk to them, trouble is still in the air and it looks like Delilah is down for the count until she is cured. That sucks. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this newly posted chapter everyone.
