OST: Naruto - Evening
After reporting to the base the 3 boys made their way towards a place they would often go when they had a lot of free time, the roof of the Cykreasian Fighting Academy.
That place brought back a lot of memories to the boys, especially Tobias mainly because he vandalized it many times. Not just the roof, he would draw graffiti on many places in the academy property, the roof was his only untouched place until then
Back when he was a student of CFA he was quite a troublemaker, but he always had a very kind heart. Tobias's grades for academic subjects certainly weren't anything to write home about but when it came to practical and battle exercise he was taking home above-average grades. When it came to the academic subjects Tobias skipped classes quite a lot, he would usually rush to the woods with either Jake, Zach or Clyde to fight with badnicks or Eggman's robots.
He didn't study much either, when he had tests he would either cheat or if there was no one who would help him, he would just give back the paper and leave as if nothing happened. That attitude went on teacher's nerves, but Tobias didn't care. He wasn't the type to think about such things
He was always the type of guy to go by his own pace and that's how he preferred, he wasn't the one to follow the protocol. He always made choices according to what he deemed right
A smile appeared on Tobias's face as he remembered that, he, Jake and Alviss were sitting on the rooftop of the academy drinking beer and smoking weed.
Tobias took a puff and gave it to Jake, usually when someone gets high (with normal eyes) their eyes become bloodshot. With Cykreasians it was a little different, when they got high their eyes would start glowing in the same color as their eyes.
After Jake took a hit he gave the joint to Alviss, Alviss was usually the serious type, that's why when he got drunk or high he would become more chill and upbeat. He would cackle together with his friends
Tobias lived in the outskirts, they were less urban than the center of the kingdom so there was a lot of crime activity and drug smuggling. The Cykreasins from the center even called it "The Cykreasian Ghetto"
Tobias was never involved in crime activities, not in serious ones like stealing, murder or stuff like that. However he was heavily involved in drug smuggling, aside from working the physical jobs in the outskirts he was also selling drugs, everything except heroin and crystal meth. He had a lot of money for a 16 year old, those were his ways of making them.
He never took any harder drugs than weed, he first tried it at 13 years old, with encouragement from some of the older friends in the neighborhood. He remembered the first time he got high, it felt like he was flying above the clouds. He started selling it at 14, at 15 he became a full-fledged junkie.
Victor and Rachael caught him smoking weed in his room when he was 14, since Tobias was usually closing the door and opening the window while doing it there was a lot of smoke coming out. They took him on drug tests frequently until he turned 15, from that point they just accepted it, they were glad he didn't try any harder drugs though.
"Yo, how'd y'all like my sticky-icky?" Tobias asked while cackling, he was high as a kite by now
"Daaamn, where'd ya get this shit man?" Jake asked
"Ah-ah, classified!" Tobias said as he burst out laughing
Alviss took a puff and released a cloud of smoke through his mouth
"I gotta admit, this ain't half bad!" Alviss said with a smirk on his face, even when high he was able to retain some degree of seriousness. That fact truly amazed both Tobias and Jake
Tobias took a sip of beer from the bottle and exhaled in joy
He looked at the starry night sky, it was a full moon that evening which created an even more beautiful sight
"Man, I remember like it was yesterday when we were still kids" Tobias stated
"Yeah, but now we get to kick some Black Moon ass almost every day!" Jake replied
"Yea…but there is one thing that was bugging me for a while now…" Tobias said
"What is it?" Jake and Alviss asked in unison
OST: Final Fantasy 5 - Nostalgia
"Well, my grandparents, uncle and aunt are the only family I ever knew…I always wondered who my parents were, I don't even remember them…I don't even know who they were nor how did they even look like"
This was weed speaking from him, that's why he was so emotional
He remembered the day when he started his first year at CFA, he was 6 years old back, first thing he noticed that differentiated him from the majority of other kids was that they were there with both their parents. Meanwhile, Tobias was there only with his uncle Malicious, Irene was on a mission and Victor got sick so Rachael had to stay home and take care of him
Tobias looked at them and frowned
"Hey uncle"
"Hmm?" Malicious looked down at his nephew while holding his hand
Tobias looked up at him with visible sadness in his eyes
"Why don't I have a mom and dad?"
Malicious let out a sigh, he couldn't give his nephew the right answer, but he couldn't lie to him either
He put his hand on the top of Tobias's head
"I'll tell you one day, when you're old enough to understand" were all the words Mal could think of at that moment
The family made an agreement not to tell Tobias anything about his parents until he was strong enough to defend himself, his grandparents Victor and Rachael hid pictures and everything that had anything to do with Vic and Emily from Tobias. Doing all that to their own grandson truly hurt them from the inside, however they knew they were doing it for his own good. They were unsure if Cykreeus actually knew of Tobias being the son of Vicious and Emily, but they didn't want to risk him spilling the beans to a wrong person and becoming Cykreeus's target.
OST: Eternal Sonata – Silence and life
Jake came closer and put a hand on Tobias's shoulder
"It's not just them, we're your family as well" Jake said with a smile
This caused Tobias's glowing eyes to go wide
"You…really mean it?"
"Yeah, you may be an idiot at times but you're still like a brother to us" this was Alviss
"We're gone through a lot of shit, so we will stick together till the very end"
"Guys…thank you..." Tobias said, tears threatening to fall from his eyes
He took another puff and it made him cackle once again, especially after he let out some of his feelings
Jake rolled another joint and handed it over to Tobias, Tobias pointed his index finger towards the top of it and shot a small lightning. Igniting it in the process and causing smoke to start coming out
Jake took a hit and leaned on the wall of the roof, all 3 of them were laying in front of the small wall on the rooftop, Tobias had his hands behind his head as he looked on the full moon that illuminated all 3 of them
"How are things with Samantha?"
This immediately caught Tobias's attention as he turned his head towards Jake, he smiled
"Pretty great actually, we really seem to get along well"
Samantha was the daughter of the Cykreasian chief of police, he was the one who helped Malicious the most on the night of Metal Overlord Attack. He was usually protective and strict to his daughter, especially when it came to boys, however he knew Tobias was a good kid at heart. Especially since he knew he was the son of the noble and selfless king Vicious, his daughter didn't know that though, same goes for the rest of Tobias's friends.
He knew Tobias smoked weed and sold drugs, but he also knew he didn't do that to show off. He did it so he could support his grandparents financially, he also bought his daughter a beautiful necklace with money he earned from drugs. That was the reason he kept Tobias's antics a secret from the law, he knew Tobias was a good person and would never harm anyone without a good reason.
Tobias hooked up with Samantha on a party when he was 14, they had sex while drunk, luckily Tobias wasn't drunk enough to forget a very important thing when it came to those activities. After that they wentered a relationship, they were 2 years together as of right now and everything was going good for them
Samantha was a lightning type Cykreasian like her father and boyfriend, she was a white Cykreasian with light skin and cyan eyes. The fur on her head wasn't long, it didn't even reach her neck, she was wearing a beige sleeveless shirt, grey pants and blue shoes. She wore a brown bracelet on each of her hand, her hands didn't have any gloves.
Unlike Tobias, she was intelligent, level-headed and rational. She took her missions seriously and never acted without thinking, her father was very proud of her.
"I'm actually surprised she ended up with someone like you…" Alviss said in a half-joking manner and chuckled
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Tobias had a comedic expression of anger on his face
"C'mon guys, let's not fight here! Let's just blow and chill, know what I'm sayin'?" Jake said after taking another puff, forming a grin on his face before handing it over to Tobias, his brown eyes shining
"Yeah man, fuck that" Tobias said before taking a smoke, letting out a cloud of smoke and giving it to Alviss
OST: Sonic Adventure – White Jungle
Irene was on a mission against Black Moon, her mission was to free some of the soldiers Black Moon held as hostage. There were both Cykreasians and Mobians
When her brother Vicious became the king he stated that Cykreasians may be another race but are considered residents of planet Mobius and therefore shall be called Mobians as well, Sally agreed with that
Irene had her own squad made of men and women, she was the Colonel of the Cykreasian army and looked the same as always. They were coming close to one of the Black Moon bases, it was night so they hid in a forest.
"Colonel, what's the plan?" one of the soldiers asked
"Matthew, I will go out there and check their positions. I will contact you via comms to let you know when to start moving" Irene said
Everyone nodded so Irene decided to begin moving towards the base
Upon making it near she managed to spot a few black moon soldiers on guard outside, she retreated close to the forest before activating her communicator
"Everyone, I will take out the guards, when I signal you we will go inside the base"
"Roger" one of the soldiers said before the line went off
Irene wasted no time as she charged towards the soldiers, one of them noticed her and charged at her with all the others, Irene dashed towards one of them and punched him full force in the face. She knocked him out before kicking the other one in the gut, sending him flying and crashing on the wall.
The other 3 jumped her, however she jumped as well before spinning, swinging her foot to kick all 3 of them in the face and knock them out.
The last, brave one tried to stab her with a machete, before the blade reached her she delivered an upper kick to his wrist. This made him lose the grip of the blade as it flew up, he was distracted watching the blade go up so he didn't notice Irene's fist going towards his face. It was too late for him as her fist already made contact, the machete was falling down now, Irene managed to catch it and use it to dash through him and behead the soldier.
Blood started spraying from his neck as his head fell to the side and rolled, causing more blood to come out of it. His body also fell on the ground and created a puddle of blood around the neck area
Irene kept the machete which was now stained in blood before activating her communicator again
"Area clear, we can begin the operation!"
After she said that all the Cykreasian soldiers ran out of the forest and stood near her, they approached the metallic door that was the entrance. Irene noticed a DNA scanner system near the door, that only meant one thing, they couldn't enter the normal way.
Irene stepped back before charging her fist with energy and punching the door with all her strength, successfully breaking it and sending it flying inside. She motioned for the other soldiers to follow her as they went inside, when she flipped the light switch on the sight that awaited her made her sick
OST: My Hero Academia – Mind of Evil
When the base was illuminated it showed many Black Moon scientists standing near capsules in which were the hostages, they were experimenting on them. Some of them were still alive but confined in cages, when they saw Irene they immediately sighed in relief, they didn't want to end up like their comrades.
Those who were experimented on didn't manage to speak, mostly because they were dead. Those experiments were used to drain all energy and life force from the subjects, that energy was used to power up machines, emeralds and robots. What made the fact even scarier was the fact the process of extraction was very painful
Irene was quite pissed at that point, those were soldiers she called friends, she even knew some of them for years. She began powering up, the scientists were now backing away in fear.
Irene ordered for the soldiers to free the prisoners, she would deal with the scientists herself. Seeing the anger in her eyes the soldiers didn't dare to ask any more questions, they did as they were told. After they left Irene began powering up again before charging the scientists, the soldiers that were outside could only hear screams, sounds of bones breaking and meat being crushed as some of them were shaking in fear. They were glad they weren't in their place
Irene finally walked out, covered in blood, she raised her head and looked at them
"There are a few more bases we need to go to, we don't have much time so we have to hurry" Irene simply said before she began walking towards the same forest they came from before
The surviving hostages and soldiers had no choice but to follow her

OST: Sonic and the Black Knight – Deep Woods
It was a peaceful day on Angel Island, sunlight was illuminating the already shiny Master Emerald that stood on the center of the shrine. Near the shrine was Knuckles, he was preparing himself for another round of training with his son Konan. He trained him in order to prepare him to carry on his legacy as the guardian of the Master Emerald, Konan was already close to his level when it came to strength. What differed his fighting style from Knuckles's however was the fact he could use his arms like Knuckles and his legs like Rouge
Knuckles and Rouge were friends for a very long time, at first their relationship was more of a rivalry than friendship. Knuckles and Rouge have been fighting over the Master Emerald since the two first met. Rouge was designed to be Knuckles' compatibility just like how Shadow was designed to be Sonic's compatibility when it comes to basic rivalry and skills.
However, as the two had similar interests they became closer. A few months after the Cykreasian race was revived they started dating, 6 months later Knuckles proposed to her, she said yes so the 2 held their wedding near the shrine. Late Vicious and Emily were also present, it was 5 months before their deaths. They brought some jewelry as gifts, especially since they knew Rouge loved them.
He was sad to hear about their deaths on the night Metal Overlord attacked, he went to their graves to pay respects a few days ago. He heard they had another child before they died, from what he heard from Shadow his name was Tobias and bore a striking resemblance to his father (save for his skin and fur color), his quills were the same color as his father's though. He didn't have a chance to meet him yet however, but he hoped he would be able one day. For now he focused on training Konan
"Alright son, one more time" Knuckles stood in guard
"Here I come pops" Konan dashed towards him
Konan was an echidna much to the joy of his father, his fur however was white as well as his seven dreadlock-like spines around the sides and back of his head. Only the endings were fading to red, he wore a purple jacket, a red shirt below and light blue jeans. On his feet you could find black sneakers
Konan charged his right knuckle with fire, Knuckles did the same with his left knuckle before they clashed. Shockwaves erupted from the clash, the ground below them erupted as fiery energy began emitting and radiating from their fists. Konan didn't waste time as he swung his left knuckle in an attempt to hit his father, Knuckles however fell back causing Konan to miss. Konan managed to stand in guard just in time before Knuckles hit him again, he managed to block it before trying to land a kick to Knuckles's stomach. Knuckles managed to use his right knuckle to grab Konan's leg before he landed the kick, he then spun him around and threw him on the side. Konan stopped on the ground before charging again, this time he jumped and primed his left leg, coating it in fire.
Knuckles immediately recognized that gesture
"Fiery Screw Kick!" Konan proclaimed before he began spinning, fire also spun around him and made him look like a mobian-sized fiery tornado
Knuckles guarded himself with both arms as the kick landed on his knuckles, the blow was so strong in managed to make Knuckles slide on his feet to the back one meter
"Not bad, I take it your mother taught you that move?" Knuckles asked
"Yep, it's quite handy" Konan said
Konan charged again and tried to punch Knuckles in the face again, Knuckles however bent his body to his right side before balling his knuckle and trying to punch his son in the stomach. Konan anticipated before jumping back, causing Knuckles to miss, Knuckles ran forward and repeatedly tried to punch Konan in the head. Konan managed to dodge 3 times before he blocked one of his punches and aimed his left fist towards Knuckles's face, Knuckles blocked the fist with his other hand and now they were holding each other's fists
Cracks began appearing below them as the ground itself shook, both of them were giving their all to overpower each other
When the ground below them cracked small chunks of earth began levitating around them, after a few seconds they broke the struggle causing the rocks to fall back to the ground
They were both panting now, Knuckles spun his right hand behind him while holding the shoulder with his left hand. Konan meanwhile pushed his spine forward in order to relax his muscles
"Well, I think we can call it a day. You're growing really strong, I didn't see the Screw Kick coming either" Knuckles smirked, being proud of his son
"What can I say dad? I'm full of surprises" Konan replied with the same smirk
OST: DBZ - Budokai 3 – Archipelago
Their mood became more serious as they felt someone approaching, the first thing they noticed was that there wasn't just one person but more of them coming
When they turned to the side the first thing they saw were 5 robots approaching them, one of them was red, he walked in the middle.
There was also a green one who was the tallest and thinnest of the 5, the black one was the same height as red, what differed him from the rest of them was the fact he was the only one wearing sunglasses.
The only female robot was the pink one, the last but not least was the yellow one, he was the biggest but not the tallest among them.
"We fight for evil!" the red one proclaimed
"We live for disorder!" black one said
"We like what we do!" green one said
"We eat donuts!" yellow one said
"We wear the trendiest clothes! pink one said
"We are…" the red one began
All five of them pulled out their long battle axes and began twirling them around before yelling in unison
"Axem Rangers X!"
"Axem Rangers X?! I thought you were destroyed years ago!" Knuckles said before standing in guard just in case, his son did the same
Being rebuilt by Eggman and powered by the artificial emeralds Axem Rangers X were stronger than ever. They had one mission in mind: to retrieve the Master Emerald and bring it to Cykreeus and Eggman as a thank you for rebuilding them
Red pointed the top of his axe towards the father and son before saying
"We're gonna say this only once! Hand us the Master Emerald and no one gets hurt!"
Knuckles smirked
"You'll have to beat us first" he stood in guard, ready to engage in battle
Now, I just want to make something clear. As you can see in the beginning of the chapter there was alcohol and drug use, I AM NOT encouraging anyone to engage in those activities. Especially those who are underage
As you noticed, the scene when Irene finds her comrades being put through the deadly experiments was quite dark. This story will be mostly light-hearted however there will be more of these darker moments as the story progresses (not just the experiments)
This chapter was certainly more action-packed compared to the last one, I will try to keep the future chapters that way. I have a lot of the plans for this story so I think it's safe to say it will go on for 2 or 3 more years at most
Now that I got that out of the way, I have to say I'm pretty satisfied with how everything turned out. Since exams are coming soon the updates may not be as frequent as they are now, however you can expect more art related to The Legend Of Tobias. (Speaking of which, I have to give a shoutout to Angelika2004 for helping me with the story art from the very beginning!)
