"Ash, may I ask where we are headed?" Lucario asked.
"Next closest island is Five Island, we're trying to catch up to Brendan and Wally." Ash said, as Lapras sped across the open sea. "Once we're together we can figure out how to take down Team Rocket."
"They did not seem to be a problem before, why are you worried now?" Lucario asked.
"This one is different. She's absorbed legendary powers, and I think it's making her unstable." Ash admitted. "It was only thanks to Groudon that I lasted as long as I did before you rescued me."
"Yes, that woman, her powers are concerning." Lucario said. "And you believe we will be enough?"
"I'm not all that sure." Ash sighed. "I wish I knew the answer for certain, but I just don't."
'ASH WE HAVE A PROBLEM!' The Primal force shouted.
"Hold on Lucario, what's up Groudon?" Ash asked.
'I sense Rayquaza.' The primal force stated.
"Great, because one problem isn't enough. I thought he got deported back to Hoenn." Ash groaned.
"What seems to be the problem?" Lucario asked.
"Rayquaza is here." Ash said. "Which means it's trainer Mikey is also here."
"Could they be of use to us?" Lucario asked.
"I mean they did help us out last time. And having another legendary on our side could be useful." Ash said. "Groudon do you know which way they are?"
'I BELIEVE THEY ARE THAT WAY!' The Primal Force said, bringing out an aura tendril and pointing it towards a set of islands not far off.
"Okay Lapras, we're changing course." Ash said.
Lapras turned directions, taking off at full speed, towards the set of islands off in the distance.
Meanwhile on five Island
"Hold on Wally." Brendan said, keeping them hidden behind some rocks. "Team Rocket."
"We can take them." Wally said. "We did get reinforcements like we were told to."
"Yeah, but this isn't them." Brendan said. "There's too many of them. "We need to figure out what they're doing here."
"Well which way were they heading?" Wally asked.
"Towards the east." Brendan said. "But they came from the north."
"So where should we search?" Wally asked. "Because I don't know about you, but I don't want to take them all on by myself."
"Let's head north, see what we can find. But keep low, and keep your voice down." Brendan said, as Swampert sunk further into the water.
"Got it." Wally said, as Quagsire followed suit.
Up north
"What is this?" Wally asked, seeing the small temple like island.
"I'm not sure." Brendan said, looking inside. "But it looks like it goes underneath the waves. Let's go in, see if their hideout is here."
"You really think it's a good idea to do that?" Wally asked in worry.
"If we run into trouble, we'll turn around and leave." Brendan said, turning on a flashlight.
"Alright then." Wally said, following Brendan down.
Deep down
"Come on, where are you." A man with purple hair said angrily. "Those idiots couldn't tell their Pokeballs from their potions."
"Krow!"
"Dreavus."
"Get back here!" The man shouted. "Weezing use Double Edge!"
Weezing slammed into a pillar, causing the ceiling to shake ever so slightly.
"Okay, if we don't act, we'll be buried down here. Swampert use Hydro Cannon!" Brendan called out, jumping out of hiding.
A powerful blast of water shot out from Swampert mouth, soaking the Weezing as it dropped to the ground.
"What in the, interlopers!" The man said. "Don't you know who I am! I am the great Petrel, one of four Rocket Executives, and you messed with me on the wrong day."
"Yeah, I've heard that before." Brendan said. "Right Wally." Brendan said, looking behind him. "Seriously Wally, again!"
"Talking to yourself, not a good sign. Weezing use Sludge Bomb." Petrel said.
"Swampert use Ice Beam!"
Swampert fired an ice beam at the incoming attack, freezing the poisonous blob of energy.
"Raticate use Super Fang! Weezing use Memento!"
"Swampert look out!" Brendan shouted, as a Raticate came out of a hole in the ceiling, clamping down on the water type. Moments later Weezing rushed forward, expelling large amount of smoke that covered Brendan and Swampert.
"I can't see!" Brendan shouted, grabbing a Pokeball. "Shiftry use Razor Wind!"
Shiftry launched out of his Pokeball, flapping his fans to remove the smoke.
"Oh that's a lot of Koffings." Brendan said. Seeing four Koffing around him. "Wally, anytime you want to show up."
"It's over kid, you're coming with me." Petrel said. "Do the smart thing and stand down."
Brendan quickly assessed the situation, Rhyperior and Aggron were too risky in here, and Hypno would be overpowered easily.
"Alright, you win. We'll go quietly." Brendan said, recalling his Pokemon.
"Smart choice." Petrel said, knocking Brendan to the ground.
10 minutes earlier in another room
"Woah!" Wally exclaimed as he was grabbed.
"Shhhhh." James shushed.
"But you're, and we're, and why?!" Wally said angrily.
"I'm not a fan of this plan." James admitted. "What Jessie is leading, it can't be good."
"Then why help her?" Wally asked.
"Because she's still our friend." Meowth said. "Anyways you was about to walk into a trap."
"Wait Brendan was with me." Wally said worridley.
"We'll take you to the operation base here to rescue him." James said. "Just promise you'll try to save Jessie."
"Of course." Wally said. "She doesn't deserve to die for this."
"Thanks twerp." Meowth said, as a small explosion went off.
"Wait what was that?!" Wally said worridley.
"Petrel's Weezing, he always goes for the flare, never the boom." James said. "Once he leaves, go to the south part of the island, you'll find what looks like a rundown shack there."
"And that's where Brendan will be?" Wally asked.
"For now." Meowth said. "It'll take a few days to get him shipped elsewhere."
"But how will I get in?" Wally asked.
"This keycard will get you in." James said.
"But won't you two be punished for this?" Wally asked.
"Not if we were beaten and had it taken from us." Meowth said.
"Are you guys sure about this?" Wally asked in concern.
"Yes, if anyone can save Jessie, it's the twerp." James said. "Now do it before we chicken out."
"Alright, thanks you two." Wally said, punching James in the face, as Kirlia threw Meowth into a wall.
