Hey everyone, I know it's been way to long! In a nutshell I have been working on this Halloween arc of "The Party" for close to a year. I wanted to post it last October but it wasn't done so I decided to wait till it was. Now I have 31 chapters of arc and hope to post every day. Hopefully, you that are still with me from before and any new readers will enjoy these chapters.

P.S: I am not one for horror so most of these are lighter Halloween songs. As always if you have a song you want in this arc or in the story in general please send them my way.

Song: Things out there

From: Alvin and the Chipmunks meet Frankenstein

When everyone looked back down from the moon, Sandy made an image of the moon above his head right next to a clock that showed midnight.

"Shostakovich! You are right Sandy!" North exclaimed.

"Can't believe how late it's gotten already!" Tooth agreed.

"Well mates, looks like it's time to head back home. And just when I was starting to like this place." Bunny commented.

Sandy looked left and right and then created a snowflake.

Bunny did a 180 and then growled: "where did that pain in the tail go now? Jack, Jack Frost! Where are the bloody are you?"

A cold chill suddenly seemed to surround them. But it didn't feel like Jack's wind, or even the shiver that came from Jack's presence. No this felt like someone was watching them. Or more accurately, something! All of them were instantly on edge, something was grew despicable them they just knew it in their bones.

"Boo!"

North shouted and turned saber drawn, Bunny hopped a foot in the air boomerang Wiping before he could look what he was aiming, Tooth's wings fluttered at a rapid speed as she bolted to the right in order to come back around at full speed, Sandy brought his whips lashing out in two seconds. All there attacks landed on nothing.

"Parr, parr, parr, parr!"

The laughing mixed with a purr sound raised the hairs on three of the big fours next and caused bunny to hunches back a little bit like a cat.

"You should have seen your faces!" Chesh laughed.

"That's not funny!" Bunny said in his lowest most dangerous voice.

"Yes it was! And it was the perfect way to get you guys in the right mood for the next group." Another voice said.

Once again the big four spun around weapons at the ready. Jack was leaning against his staff with mischievous look on his face. Beside him Tiffa, Rubezahl, Jasper, and King were doing their own casual acts.

"And vhat mood vould zat be?" North asked as he lowered his saber.

To answer the clouds came over the clearing blocking out the moon's bright light. Things got so dark that the only illumination the guardians could really see was the glow off of Chesh's eyes.

A cold fog rolled in around their ankles and and echoing sound of something large breathing seemed to come from everywhere.

(1)"And now ladies and gentlemen we remind you to take heed and be cautious, because there are things out there!"

"Where did that come from!" Bunny shouted hair puffing out at all angles.

A Howl that turned into a wrobel cried out from their left. They spun only for a moan to come from their right.

"You're all alone it's the middle of the night." They turned 90° to the right and spotted a boy who looked to be in his preteens with bright orange hair.

"Something moves in the cold moonlight." Up in a nearby tree to young kids, both with Onyx black hair, laughed gleefully. One wore a vest full of pockets that you could see various objects poking out of while the other had a bag of candy hanging from one arm.

"You're trying not to scream." Shouted a loud voice which belonged to a smiling pumpkin.

"But you gotta let out." Cackled a blood red skeleton.

"And it makes you want to."

"You want to,"

"You want to shout!"

At each repeat another see-through figure made a transparent appearance.

From up above, North, East, South, West, and nerve-racking down below all form of myth and legend coming straight out of a creepy movie or horror story came to strut their stuff.

"Vunning vrough vhe graveyard, vbumping and trees." Stocking into view was a pale skinned Being with sharp fangs that could only be the legendary Dracula.

"Something reaches out and polls you to your knees." A large white skeleton with a round head and a black striped suit smiled.

"You try to get away sisss, you don't know if you can Screech. A creature with the lower half of a rotund serpent, the head of a gargoyle, the ears of a bat, the wings of a Dragon, and claws that could cut through cement shrieked out and laughed.

"And your staring at the, at the old wolfman! Awwooooo!" said a werewolf that was as muscular as a circus strong man, who had a mane of hair that fell half way down the half down his back.

More and more of the scary breeds walked their way into view crowding around the guardians who found themselves petrified and unable to move. Not even when they had been facing pitch and his nightmares at their weakest had they felt this frozen.

"Things that will chase you."

"Things that will eat you."

"Things that will jump out,"

"And say their glad to meet you!"

"Vampires, witches, goblins, and ghosts."

"But you know that the ones that will scare you the most,"

"Are those things out there!"

The darkness creeped in closer and bright red eyes started to glow to life in the shadows.

"Boo!"

This time all of them jumped and were on the verge of running for the hills. That is until they saw the moonlight shining through the clouds and the beings around them came into the light. They didn't look any different really but the light helped take the edge off the big four's fears.

Jack walked over and used his staff to shepherd them a little closer to the newly assembled beings. "The mood of halloween. This is the time of night when they take their turn in the spotlight."

"Well that certainly gave us a start!" Tooth said in a airy voice.

"Yah Dngo! You could've warned us!" Bunny pointed his boomerang at Jack accusingly.

"Bah, it was all in good fun. And it over now!" North waved bunnies concerned so side.

Sandy however was looking at the assembled beings and got the feeling that things worked quite done. His feelings were proven right when Jack gave a hearty laugh.

"Over! It's far from over North. This is only the beginning of what they have in store for us!"
