"And just what are you doing here?" Rubazahl asked, his usual only confident and fun voice taking on a strong edge of defensiveness.

The lead lioness Zera turned and showed all her teeth in a vicious grin. "I'm here because it's what I do. (1) You know what, let me put this in a way you idiots will understand." She sashayed toward Rubazahl her voice mocking at the same time prideful. "I'm not the damsel in distress. I'm not your girlfriend or the frightened princess. I'm not the little bird who needs your hug to fly. Nope, I am the bad guy!"

She turned to the pride of lions who bowed low to her. "All these former leaders and villains that you see, on shaking knees has knelt before me. I'm not their teammate or their partner in crime. What am I boys?"

The Lions of her pride, still bowed, mumbled: "she's the bad guy."

She tapped a few and brushed a few with her tail as they slowly stood up onto their feet and started to follow her obediently. "Oh it's thrilling, to be a villain. I destroy their hopes and then I watched them cry!" She got right up in Rubazahl's face and growled in her deepest growl "BECAUSE I'M THE BAD GUY!"

She stalked away again flicking her tail in a mocking way. She then stopped and stared at a small weasel spirit. "Oh and it's fantastic, I see something I attack it!" She pounced on the weasel who tried to escape only to be yanked back by his tail. Zera lifted the weasel so that his legs can to spin through the air in a desperate attempt to get away. The lioness brought the weasels directly to her face and licked her lips. "And let me tell you why, I've always had a weakness for barrenness and bleakness." She tossed the weasel away who bounced on the ground twice and came to a skidding stop in front of the rest of the pride who also licked their lips. "I crushed all your hopes and then I watch you cry."

The Lions tease the weasel for a moment and when it finally scampered into the crowd zera turned back to Rubazahl. "See I find this business rather fun. I don't want your assistance or your adulation. I'll take all the power then bid you bye-bye. Why?" She leaped at the German Dragon/mountain man pushing him to the ground. "Come on guess!"

Rubazahl gritted out the words as smoke escaped his mouth. "Because you're the bad guy?"

"Or, well girl. Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha!"

Rubazahl easily pushed Zera off him and adjusted his outfit. "You try this every year Zera. And you think that your little cub over there is going to change things?"

"When he's grown yes I do!"

"But will he make it that far?" A voice-that chilled not only the air but the ground and everybody present as well- asked in a harsh whispered voice.
