Dont own HP so dont sue me!

This is about when Severus is condemmed for his actions during book5. With a little bit of hermione mentioned. Its based after the war and is an account of our dear (innocent in someways) potions masters trial for said actions.

Read, enjoy and be merry.

His eyes burned as he looked at the harsh face of those around him, none of them believed him. They had no proof he was lying yet they had already settled on their opinion, He was a liar. These were the people he had helped and even saved a few of their lives in the past months, but none of that seemed to matter now, not to them at least. He looked away from them, he didn't care any more he was past the point of caring, let them think what they want; at least he knew the truth that was all that matter wasn't it?

But what about them? They would carry on living thinking he was a liar, thinking he did something he knew he didn't. He was good at what he did, it was his job. He did what was asked of him, yet they all accused him, not caring to know the truth. Not caring about how he felt. What did it matter any way? He was 'evil' to them. Satan in all his glory. Not a man, not human, not capable of feeling anything. He was the one who was said to be lying, so why did they wait until the end to condemn him? Why not say it when they first thought it? Why wait?

His eyes focused on the ones he knew would stand up for him. The eyes of his love. His Hermione. Her eyes red from tears she shed, her face wet with her sorrow. Sorrow for what had happen and for sorrow for which she could not prevent. It was a lost cause, He was a lost cause. It was a doomed cause both of them knew it. No evidence to show he didn't do it but no evidence to show that he did. Those he thought he could count on testified against him, said they saw him do it just to the one he killed Albus Dumbledore and not because of a promise made under magic.

He felt neither anger nor hate for those he went against him, just sorrow. Sorrow for their lies and their actions. Sorrow for not being able to watch his unborn child grow up, to watch his love morn over him. He wanted to tell her it was ok, he knew what he would have to face. There would be no time in a cell for him, no second chances, no years to be served to pay up for his dealings. It was a life he would have to pay with, his life.

A lie could not go with out being revealed. Those who told the real lie will reveal themselves and the truth will be known. They will feel bad for what they had done. They will regret their actions. They will have sorrow for killing him.

He was sorry for the fact that he would not be around when it happened.

It didn't matter either way.

It was all hopeless.

A/N: I wrote this affter being unfairly dismissed from my job because of people lying and nobody believing what i said. To say the least the last two sentances of this mean alot to me because it sums up alot about how i feel about the matter. no matter what i said or did it was a hopeless case. Oh well, i was going to quit and now i have more time to write stories for you to enjoy. WOO!
