Paul and his friends hurried to Oscorp to try and make sure the cure for the virus was secured, but they arrived their too late. Oscorp was being attacked by Librium and that had to mean Balancer and Hydra weren't far behind. Sable International soon showed themselves as well, but it seemed like they were more interested in bringing Spider-Man and his friends down. Sabastian made an attempt himself, but Sabella stepped in and tried to stop his insanity herself.

"You dare turn against your brother? You would dare oppose your country?!" Sabastian questioned as he feels like Sabella has turned against everything they stand for.

"This has nothing to do with our country." Sabella said. "This isn't even about us, Sabastian. It's about doing what is right. We must make sure the cure is secured for it's the only chance this city has. Even if the man named Hydra is stopped, the virus is still spreading. That antidote is the only hope this city has."

"I be more persuaded if this wasn't coming from a traitor." Sabastian said as he was clearly in no mood to talk. He started shooting at his own sister, but Sabella got moving and took cover behind a desk.

"You are too blinded by your pride as a member of a Sable International to see that this must be done!" Sabella said. "Why are you prioritizing the death of Spider-Man over the sanctity of this city?!"

"My men and I had everything under control! He was the one who caused this mess!" Sabastian claimed. "If he would have just stayed out of the way, the virus never would have been released in the first place!"

"You don't know that." Sabella said. "Besides, you were endangering innocent people. So many could have gotten hurt or killed because of you! You always shot first and had no concerns!" Sabastian was in no mood for this. He believed in what he was doing and no one is talking him out of this. He hurried over to the desk to attack her some more, but he saw she was gone from back there. He looked around, only to turn around to have her kicked him against the desk. Sabella aimed her weapon right at him, but she wouldn't pull the trigger.

"Fool." Sabastian said as he kicked the rifle right out of the way. He gave her another kick in the gut with him grabbing her rifle and yanking it right out of her hands. He spun around and kicked her back again, separating herself from her weapon. "I always knew you were never right for this Sabella, even when we were kids. You were always too soft."

"Or perhaps I'm just not cold like you." Sabella said.

"Same thing." Sabastian admitted. He tried to shoot at her again, but she ducked down and rolled towards him. Once she was right under him, she shot herself straight up and gave her brother and uppercut. She returned the favor as she grabbed his guns and bashed her head right against him to knock him back. That allowed her to take his weapons and disarm him. She could have used them right on him, but she knew that wouldn't work. So, she just tossed them aside. "You discard weapons you could have shot me with?"

"I do not wish to shoot my own brother." Sabella claimed.

"You are more foolish than I thought." Sabastian claimed as he wouldn't have hesitated to do something like that. "We were taught that the mission comes first, all for the good of our country."

"But there must be limits. We are humans, not mindless machines that can't think for ourselves." Sabella said as she refused to act like she has no heart like him. After all that she's been through, she refuses to be like him. "Besides, this will be like all the times we sparred when we were children. Doesn't that sound enjoyable?" She questioned as she readied herself for hand-to-hand combat.

"No... It won't be like those times." Sabastian claimed as he he reached in his boot and pulled out a knife. He tried attacking her with it as he swung that knife around, but Sabella stayed out of his reach. Sabella flipped back and dropped down to one knee and reached for her own knife. Sabastian tried going at her with his knife again, but Sabella blocked it with her own like they were sword fighting. Once that happened, Sabella moved around and grabbed him by the arm and tried to disarm him again. However, Sabastian grabbed a hold of her and threw her to the ground. He tried to stab her again, but Sabella swung her leg up and kicked him right in the head to knock him back.

"Sabastian, just stop this!" Sabella said as she managed to get back. "We're wasting time with all of this. Weren't you hired to protect the virus? Since you failed, doesn't it make more sense to do everything you can to ensure the cure is used."

"Sabella, your emotions and sentimentality has blinded you." Sabastain said as he doesn't really seem to care. "My men and I are more than capable of handling this situation. We are to protect the cure, that is true, but that means we will ensure that Spider-Man does not ruin everything!"

"He won't! He wants the cure as well to save the city!" Sabella said. "Can't you see that you are on the same side? You just have different methods of how you choose to handle this situation."

"Enough!" Sabastian said as he ran out of patience. "All that matters is that you and he are interfering with our work, and you will pay for that! You have made your choice, Sister, and you will now pay for it!" He went at her again to attack her. He swung his leg at her, but she rolled under. She went at him from behind and tried to hold him down, still trying to reason with him.

"We were trained to be mercenaries since we were children. We might have the skills, but that doesn't mean we have to be cold, emotionless, and act like we have no heart!" Sabella said. "Brother, you have to understand!"

"I don't need to understand anything from you!" Sabastian said as he broke free and then spun around to kick her right in the head. Sabastian attempted to stab her again, but Sabella grabbed him by the arms and tried to keep it back. The knife was dropping closer and closer to her neck, but Sabella refused to give in and let her brother do this.

"You would really kill me? Your own sister?" Sabella said. "Does your mission matter so much that you really will sacrifice even me to accomplish it?"

"We were taught that the mission must come first!" Sabastian said.

"Has all that training we did when were children really killed your humanity?" Sabella said.

"Enough of your talk!" Sabastian shouted as his knife was closer and closer to her neck, but Sabella was able to push it away at the last moment and moved away from her brother. She moved quickly and kicked the knife right out of his hands. However, Sabastian flipped back up and struck her right in the gut. Then, he hit her right in the back to have her fall down, and he stomped down on her to keep her down. Sabastian looked around for a weapon and soon spotted one of his guns. He hurried over to it and grabbed a hold of it with it aimed right at her.

"Brother, don't do this!" Sabella pleaded as she tried to stand back up, but he shot at her anyway. It hit her and knocked her back down with it hurting. A shot like that would have finished a person, but she was able to get back up.

"You're wearing padding under there." Sabastian said. "It might work against regular bullets, but a shot like that still had to have hurt." He was right. Sabella might have had some protection under her uniform, but that shot still hurt. "It can't last against a few more shots, but at least you are willing to die like a soldier."

"Brother, please just stop this and listen." Sabella pleaded.

"An example of how weak you are! Only the weak beg and plead for mercy!" Sabastian claimed.

"Is that really all it is to you? Is it kill or be killed?" Sabella said as she stood back up. "Life isn't as simple as that. You see the world in black and white, but it's not like that at all. Spider-Man showed me that there is more to life. It holds greater value, but you discard it like it means nothing."

"Everything we do, we do in the name of Symmkaria! We were taught that, Sabella!" Sabastian said. "Everything we do is a reflection on our country, and you've sullied it."

"I have done no such thing." Sabella claimed. "Spider-Man just simply showed me things that weren't taught. I believe I have shown great honor, pride, and life for our country. You have only showed it's ruthlessness. Spider-Man has protected this city with his life, but he has never done it in a way he wasn't ashamed of. He has no regrets, and he understands that someone is important to another. That is why he fights. He fights to protect this city, to protect others, and I believe I have done that for our country."

"Why, Sabella?" Sabastian questioned as he was getting fed up with hearing about Spider-Man. "Why do you side with him?"

"Because, even though he has broke my heart, I love him." Sabella said.

"You love him?" Sabastian questioned. "If he "broke your heart" like you say, why do you fight for him? Why do you love him?"

"He changed my life around. I experienced joy and such that I have never felt before." Sabella claimed. "It's not exactly easy to explain, but I just can't help how I feel about him. Even if he isn't with me anymore, I hold strong feelings for him. All the feelings I have towards him are ones I would have liked to have than never have. He's a wonderful man, greater than we are. Sabastian, I want you to experience those feelings. Can you honestly say you are happy?"

"Happy?" Sabastian questioned as he wasn't sure what happiness really felt like. He lowered his gun and was doing some thinking. Sabella moved closer to her brother as it seemed like she was getting through to him.

"That's right. Sabastian, just forget what we were taught for a moment. Try and experience real feelings." Sabella said. Sabastian wasn't sure what to think of this, but he couldn't let go of what he was taught. That's why he made another attempt on Sabella with his gun, but Sabella trusted her instincts and kicked her brother right in the head and knocked him down. For a moment, it seemed like she got to him, but it just didn't last. "I'm not giving up on you." She claimed as she is still hoping her brother might come around. He is family after all.

...

Paul and His Team

While Sabella was busy with her brother, Paul and the others hurried as fast as they could. They followed the path of destruction that was left for them through Oscorp. As they hurried through the place, Paul kept looking back and thinking about Sabella.

"Are you still thinking about your ex back there?" Thomas questioned.

"That girl is tough. I'm sure she's doing fine." Lindsay said.

"Maybe, but she has mixed thoughts about her brother. She doesn't agree with him, but she still has love for him. The two of them are pretty different, so I hope she's doing okay." Paul said.

"She probably is. Right now, we need to keep moving." Thomas said. Paul knew they were right, but he couldn't stop thinking about what might be happening with Sabella. However, he snapped out of his thoughts when they heard screaming.

"That was Christoph!" Paul said. Hearing his screams caused them to hurry. They rounded a corner and saw a lab was busted open. They hurried and saw a few dead scientists at the hands of Librium with Christoph the prisoner of Balancer. Balancer apparently just finished torturing him that he was able to take a small bottle with a blue serum in it.

"So, this is the cure." Balancer said. "This little batch could cure the whole city. Was that your whole plan? Create the virus and be the big hero? Do you really think this city could ever truly forgive you, especially when they hear that you were the one that created this virus."

"I'm begging you... Don't destroy the cure." Christoph pleaded.

"How the mighty have fallen, White Streak. You were once a feared crime boss like myself, but you are now reduced to this. Pathetic." Balancer said. "Hydra might not even get his chance after I'm done with you." He was ready to assault Christoph, but a web line shot at him and yanked the cure right out of his hands with Paul grabbing it.

"I think you're the one that needs medicine, Balancer. Just not this one." Paul claimed.

"You three..." Balancer said with some frustration. "I'm actually glad you're here. Now, I can tear all of you apart." Balancer is set on a path of destruction, and he's looking forward to crushing the three of them.
