Chase turned around to see his father calling to him.

"Son! You've been admitted into Hogwarts!" the wizard cried, his face flushing with pride. In his right hand was a letter with the Hogwarts symbol on it.

"Chase! You did it!" Tuck, his older brother, squealed.

"You're going to pick up your materials next week!" his mother, Katie, added. "But not with us; we have work to do. You'll be going with Zuma Bar—Bar—"

"Zuma Barkali," Ella finished. "A servant of Hogwarts and a tutor to guide the most famous students around Diagon Alley and helping them buy, the route to Hogwarts, around the land etc." She was obviously quoting.

7-year-old Chase froze. "M-me? F-famous? More of a fan. I'm a bit...young, don't you think?"

"Oh, no. Hogwarts has dropped to 5-17," Katie answered. "In my time at Hogwarts, it was only 11-17."

Rubble, the youngest of the four, laughed. "My brother's famous! Big bro, you're famous! Cool!"

"Well, we're the only wizard family except for the Cont—I mean, Johns." Ryder quickly corrected himself. The wizards and witches changed their surnames to match their culture. Ryder and his family were Germans, yet their first surname was Safor. They changed it to Schneider. The "Johns'" real surname was Contis.

"And you're part of the PAW Patrol," Ella added.

"And your hair," Tuck said suddenly. Chase froze again. Tuck realized his mistake.

"Ch—chase..." He choked on his words.

Out of all his insecurities, his hair was the most frightening. At first, it was a nice light brown, but it became blond. He had no idea why, it just transformed when they were playing a game of Scrabble. Ella had screamed. Ryder had looked at all the pieces very closely. Chase, he had cried. He loved that brown hair, it was what his beloved dead uncle passed onto him. Ryder's hair was a little darker, the rest of the family had blond hair, except for Rubble, who was a redhead. He couldn't find the right hair dye. All light browns were sold out. His blond hair was still beautiful on him, though. He wasn't sure why that brown hair just transformed colour. No idea at all. All the pieces of the Scrabble game seemed okay, even when Ryder placed a spell on it.

"Muggle board games! Magicaland or Witchday would've made our day! But no, no, no! We must keep it a secret!" Katie had shouted.

But Chase, this time, decided to take it light. "Yes, Tuck. My...hair." He almost couldn't say that word.

The others breathed silent sighs of relief. Usually if Chase heard the word "hair", he'd start crying, dash up to his room, and not forgive that person until maybe a year. Unless it was a stranger. Once Chase had an encounter with Mr. Tyler Smith in a restaurant.

"Oh, hey, Chase of the PAW Patrol!" the musician had said. "Very nice hair!"

Chase had smiled back weakly, then scowled and refused food until the end of the meal, when he had been given his favourite food, tacos.

"Well, let's get ready for tomorrow, shall we?" Ryder asked, trying to change the subject.

Chase nodded and followed the wizard to get ready for his adventure at Hogwarts.
