Ten Things First Years Must Never Do At Hogwarts Chapter 6

After seven years since I last updated this story, and twelve years after I have started the fanfiction, I have decided to end Ten Things First Years Must Never Do At Hogwarts. First, I have lost interest in the series as a whole, since Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was released. Even though I have never read it, from what I have heard it comes across as a fanfiction. Second, JK Rowling's views on Transgender and autistic people make me not to want to interact with the series. Thirdly, the series itself is problematic, in regards to how fat people, women, minorities and magical creatures are treated; every female character bar Hermione and Ginny are either airheaded or wimpy, while the majority of adult females are either motherly or evil. Fourth, my writing was pretty cringy when I was 18-22 years old, as well as the names of my OC's in the story are pretty terrible looking back. Finally, since I have been focusing more on original fiction I no longer have the heart to write fanfiction as much; the only fanfictions I am focusing on is my Hunger Games fanfictions and the rewrite of The Greatest Battle The World Will Never Know, and these are my main priority. I will be removing all my Harry Potter fanfiction and overhaul the OC's I have created for the fandom. I will give them new names, new personalities and new backstories. I have set a 2030 target date to complete my main focus, and I haven't yet got to the "Major story arcs" of the plot. That is another reason why I want to end my fanfiction career, I want to start writing up original stories; I have an idea of a series about a sorcerer who becomes a sea captain as well as a trilogy set in the far future, and I hope to start writing them eventually. I hope you understand why I decided to no longer continue with Ten Things First Years Must Never Do At Hogwarts. To those that have read the story, thank you. I know it's been a long radio silence, but I was trying to figure out what I should do, and I decided to end the story. This story will never be updated again.
