Song: Ireland's call

(1) A whistle made all the heads turn and look around. Anansi knew what or who was whistling and headed to the top of the tree to get a good view. Like a distant echo the word Ireland came from the stage aria. The drums beat out a pounding march as a man dressed all in green and sporting a carrot top of hair was made out by the glow of gold coins and a rainbow that appeared out of nowhere.
"Side by side we stand like brothers, one for all and all together. We will stand united through darker days and we'll be unbeatable forever."
As the word Ireland echoed again the leprechaun jumped away from the stage and his rainbow and gold vanished or at least went invisible.
As the Irish legend came and smiled at those he passed he sang of the songs and stories around the world who now were gathered. Then his smile became full of pride as he pointed at the night sky and the guiding stars above.
"Now we meet our destiny with glory! Ireland, Ireland, Together standing tall. Shoulder to shoulder, we'll answer Ireland's call."
He leapt onto the top of the nearest food stall and turned to the crowd. "Hearts of steel!" He put a fist to his chest. "We vow never to be broken!"
Again he leapt and this time seemed to disappear. His voice echoed Ireland and the search was on. Before long the rainbow repaired at the entrance to the grounds. The gold was in a neat pot and sparked temptingly.
With a shimmer of his own the Leprechaun was back declaring: "Shoulder to shoulder, we'll answer Ireland's call! We'll answer Ireland's call!"
