I DO NOT OWN THE SELECTION SERIES.

Schreave Palace, Sacramento. Province of Angeles. 5 days later.

King Consort Justin tried to sit still as the makeup artist did her work. He had not expected to be doing this, but he was embracing this duty wholeheartedly. He had been put in charge of announcing the selection cruise to all of Illèa and when the time came, it would also be on him to announce the names of those who had been selected to go on it.

Pauline didn't want to do it because she was working with a professional makeup artist who had signed a non disclosure agreement. The princess of Illèa had been advised to stop all public appearances to help begin her transformation into a different person. Queen Tamara I, on the other hand, wouldn't do it because she was locked in a political battle with the Queen's Congress over yet another attempt by the Illèan Conservative Party to water down equality for women and gender minorities. Thus, it was up to Justin to do the honors and make Pauline's selection announcements.

"We're on in 10 minutes, your majesty." One of the aides said quickly.

"Thank you." Justin replied with a nod as he prepares himself to address the nation. Usually the royal having the selection was supposed to make the announcements; but Justin loved his kids and if that was how Pauline wanted to do her selection, he was fine with it. He was just glad that Pauline had agreed to take her selection seriously. After what had happened with Gregory, he really wanted Pauline to find a man that she truly loved; not just someone that was royal material. Eventually, the cue was given and the camera began to roll as the King Consort moved to address his subjects.

"My fellow Illèans, I am happy to announce that my daughter: the princess Pauline Schreave, will be holding her selection." Justin declared with a smile. "Further more, this shall be no ordinary selection. This particular selection, will be held on a royal cruise that will be sailing all over this amazing country of ours. It's going to be the adventure of a life time for all involved. Applications will be sent out to all thirty five provinces and all young men between the ages of eighteen and twenty five are encouraged to apply. I wish you all the best of luck!" After the announcement was over and Justin had been unmiced, he couldn't help but chuckle to himself.

"I fear you might need it." He whispered as he couldn't wait to see his daughter's disguise.
