"Yes, welcome to the family!" Said a high voice. A tiny but beautiful monarch butterfly landed on Lama's ear. "I just love a happy story!"

"I've never seen you before." Commented Lama.

"No, rarely does anyone." The butterfly raised its wings in a shrug. "But that allows me to be present to some of the best stories! For instance I was there when you landed here on Earth Aster."

Bunny jolted. "How can that be?"

"You landed in the spring, as you may recall, and buzz my own horn-little insect humor there-but butterflies have been a symbol of spring from as far back as when the earth was just entering its most recent age of man. We only appear when there is no winter left after all."

She looked at Jack at this. "No offence I hope."

"None taken." Jack assured her.

The butterfly smiled then continued. "As I was saying, being less notable let me in on the scoop of just about every story. In fact, let me tell you one that happened not too long ago on an Easter Sunday egg hunt. It was a day like most but at the same time so much more!" She fluttered up into the air and started humming a sweet slow tune. (1) "In lilies by the tree she found it all alone. She looked inside to see the candy prize was gone. Other kids were finding eggs painted pink and green, all she found were questions instead of Jelly beans."

The little insect flew so slowly and so gracefully she was almost hypnotizing. Bunny knew that if he took his eyes away she could easily be lost in the huge sky but as he followed her path he found her hard to look away from.

"At first she was feeling sad, but now in emptiness she's glad. How could she have known, the only egg she'd find, tells the story true we need this Easter time."

She landed on a flower and alighted there as she sang. "An empty egg, an empty tomb, they both remind us of good news. Delivered on that special day. An empty egg tells us today, an empty world was shown the way."

There were a few tears in a few eyes as the Butterfly continued. Her humming and singing weaved a story of hope and new life for all!

"She left that hunt one of the happiest of them all, oh don't get me wrong she loved the candy and the egg hunt it was just made all the more special by that one egg she found that reminded her of the Easter story." The butterfly lifted back into the air and returned to Lama's ear.

"You should make that a tradition from now on, you probably have a great number of stories to share with everyone and what better time to share then when nearly the entire spirit world is all together? Jack suggested.

"Oh, well maybe." If Butterflies could blush she definitely would have been beet red. "But there are so many tails that all of us can share, not just me."

That is the last one of the Easter Arc! How do you like it? I love hearing from you all, and all the ideas for new songs! Have a Hopeful and Blessed Easter day!
