TVDxCinderella: Bad Cinderella

Chapter One

Well, it all started off with a little servant girl.

Oddette Cloutier was a plump twenty-five year old, she was 5'10 and had a curvaceous body. She was a plus size woman, with cherub warm pink cheeks. Oddette had curly auburn hair that she kept in a bun, but was to her shoulders, she sadly had to cut off a few inches due to Celine and black ink. At times she was clumsy, but when it came to being the maid of her own home she had to stern and stoic with herself.

Oddette's home was located in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was a very lively city, full of culture, music, art of the time. The city was quite grand, marvelous and a city Oddette wished to live in, be part of, but sadly she couldn't. she was a maid in her own home.

"Oddity!" Screamed Celine.

Oddette rolled her blue eyes and sighed. "As always it's something." She muttered. She put on her undergarments and brown dress, putting a veil over her hair and lightly washed her face as her Celine continued to scream for her. "Calm thyself, Oddette." She whispered.

She cleared her throat, fixed her dress and rushed downstairs to find her stepfamily sitting around the small table.

Oddette greeted her stepfamily with a bow and a hello to Marguerite. The said witch cough, cough Baroness smiled and ordered Oddette to get brunch ready.

Marguerite had let her daughters and herself sleep in while she made sure Oddette had work to do around the home. So at six o'clock in the morn she started to clean the castle that was once her home. Her childhood bedroom went to Celine who made it a very ugly pink color.

Marguerite was a tall statuesque fifty-five year old woman with black as night hair that was thick and wavy, but it was always in a bun. She had cat like green eyes that could stare into your soul, deep tan skin that had a cold undertone. Her clothes could match the one cold stone of her heart, black with colors of green and color. Celine even matches her mother features and clothing wise, but Louise is nothing like them at all.

Her features are much more softer features then her sister and mother with sharp features. She was quite short standing at 5'5 while both her mother and sister are 5'9 on a good day. Louise's clothes were quite the opposite of Celina and Marguerite as well.

Louise quite liked the light clothes, she felt angelic in a sense. Her clothes were lose but with a golden yellow color, her hair was loose, long and brunette with some wavy to it. Her eyes were big and brown, she had a bulbous face while Celine's was "delicate".

Louise slightly smiled at Oddette while Marguerite and Celine chatted away, planning for the day really. As Oddette left the dinning room Celine sighed.

"Mother, I am quite bored. Do you think, father will let us throw a party?" She asked excitement in her voice.

Celine was only twenty-four, a year younger to Oddette. Louise was twenty, waiting to be married as is Celine and Oddette.

Marguerite smiled slightly at her pride and joy. "I spent the night talking to your stepfather, letting him his two beautiful daughters a party, making sure these bachelors know who's ready to be wedded. But, I say if we don't hear back from him, we shall continue with the party, yes my sweet child?" Celine smiled and nodded.

The parties Celine requested were meant for her to find a husband, but no such luck so far. She has high standards on her future husband. He has to be rich, handsome and no one else gets his attention aside from her. Louise liked the parties, but saw no suitors for her. She was happy to be alone.

Oddette was afraid to be alone. She was alone all her life and to find a husband or a companion was something she longed for. She was defiantly afraid to be alone with her stepmother; Marguerite wasn't kind in the slightest.

Louise looked to her mother and asked, "Can we go to tonight later mother?"

Marguerite sighed. "We shall, Louise. Once Oddity gets the chores done then you and your sister can go."

Louise nodded. She understood. Louise tried to always help Oddette get out of the house and into the city at times, she even tried to help buy her some stuff but Celine would take it as her own.

As the family chatted Oddette was daydreaming while getting brunch ready for them. She had heard their conversation but she had to eye roll cause she knew deep down that she didn't husband but she did want companionship, someone that would love her and she love back. But sadly due to her stepmother she might be stuck in her own home, forever.

Once brunch was ready she bowed and left the room once the food was set out. She hid in the kitchen where once housed her favorite chefs; her closet friends, but the spending habits of her stepfamily, well I think everyone gets it.

It was about one one o'clock when Celine, Oddette and Louise decided to go to town. That's when things felt different.

"I'm bored." He declared. The handsome brown eyed young man was sitting with his brothers and sister as they were sitting around doing their own individual thing.

The blonde haired man with blue eyes smirked. "Well go on brother, have a go at the village." He said as he sketched on his sketch of a small cottage.

"But brother, as Elijah has said we need to stay low since father caught us last time." He said.

"Yes and who's fault is that." Elijah said, as he walked into the room with coffee in his hands.

"Well I can certainly say it wasn't entirely my fault." The young man, eyeing his blonde younger sister.

Rebekah rolled her blue eyes. "Oh Kol, don't be such a arse." She said. "I wasn't the one that killed half of a village over something so small."

Kol sighed with a smile. "Oh dear whatever shall we do about those souls."

Klaus and Elijah who sat on either end of the sofa rolled their eyes to the heavens due to their younger brother being quite dense one a humans life.

Rebekah hummed. "Well what we should all do, pray that they had a save travel to another side and pray that God still watching us is being careful on us as well."

Kol scoffed. "When did you get religious on us, Bekah?" He asked.

"Since never. I hate religion as much as anyone these days." She commented.

"Well since no one wants to go with me, I think I shant see the town and see what they have to offer today." Kol said.

"In the way of food or friend, Kol?" Finn asked.

Kol scoffed. "Depends on my mood and the people." He smirked, he called a maid help him get dressed. "Really Niklaus, not even going to help me pick out my next meal? Might be a pretty girl or two or five."

Klaus sighed and threw his sketch pad aside. "Fine." He said, having the same maid help him get dressed and saying goodbye to his family.

The brothers walked next to each other, letting their heightened senses do the talking. Kol watched as the people walk by, talking among themselves, chatting of their day, the food they'll have later and what type of parties their will be since it was the spring, new maidens coming of age will be wanting husbands.

Kol had to roll his eyes at this, he was so sick of women wanting to marry so young, they had so much life to live but sadly they want to throw it away for a man. Yes he was of the sex the women wanted to marry, but those girls need to find love first before jumping into wifely duties.

As Kol was mindlessly in his own world Klaus was definitely watching the humans. His city was growing, new families of all races, genders and backgrounds were enjoying their new home!

But the blonde haired, blue eyed vampire looked over when he found a trio of girls walking. One girl was quite small, with blond curls to envy his sisters, the other had very thick black hair that was tightened back, but the last girl caught his eye; and apparently Kol's too.

The last girl of the trio, neigh woman to them was tall. Her red hair was curly beyond the mane, her skin was pale but not sickly, she had flushed rosy cheeks that reminded them of baby cupids. What made them notice and stop was that the young woman was walking behind them, not saying a word. She was humming but quietly to herself. The woman was carrying packages, so many packages. The brothers could see the struggle on her face, but it looked like she had it.

"Oddity, hurry up!" The blond girl demanded, she stomped her foot and marched away in a hurry.

"Oddity." Klaus muttered.

"An odd name, brother." Kol replied.

Klaus rolled his eyes at the pun, he looked back to the sisters. The one with black hair smiled at her taller sister. "Don't listen to her, Oddette."

"Well, if I don't her future husband might kill her in the process." She said. Klaus and Kol noticed her voice wasn't delicate like her sisters, it was rough but shy as it seems. "Plus, I might get whippings from Marguerite, again."

Kol whispered, "Whippings." He looked to his older brother, who was too at a time hurt by his own parental figure. Klaus locked his jaw and growled.

"I'll make sure that doesn't happen, Oddette." The black haired girl said.

Oddette smiled. She cupped her cheeks and said, "Louise, you're truly the kindest person I ever meet." She sighed and gripped onto the packages tighter. "Come, let's go before Celine says otherwise." The young women both smiled and walked towards a clothing store where they last saw this Celine woman walk into.

The brothers looked to each other and rushed home, for going their meals and finding out who this Oddette woman was. It has been awhile since the brother have shared a lover, maybe all of the siblings.

Once they rushed home, Klaus found Elijah in his study and said, "We to have a family meeting, brother."

"Why Niklaus?" Elijah asked, rubbing his tired eyes.

"Because our dear noble brother, we found the perfect maiden for us." Klaus said with a pep in his step.
