Rebekah's arm hangs loosely over Elena's shoulders, Elena's one hand holding it and the other on Rebekah's back while she holds a partially unconscious Rebekah. She is standing at the door of the Mikaelson manor, she has already knocked twice. A hybrid opens the door and she steps in with Rebekah's weight all over her shoulders.
"Hang on Rebekah, we have almost reached here."
"Take me to my room" Rebekah says with all the strength that is left.
"But you need blood."
"I just want to lay down Elena, you can bring me the blood bags up my room."
Elena takes her up the stairs, lays her down on the bed, "Rebekah, you feeling better?" she asks
Rebekah takes in a huge breathe then says, "Do I look better to you?"
Holding her hand firmly she says, "Just wait Rebekah, I'll go get you some blood."
She stands up to leave but Rebekah holds her hand an says, "Wait, as soon as you deliver me the blood bags, I will make these hybrids heal you and then you go okay, you're weak too."
"Not as weak as you Rebekah." She keeps her hand over Rebekah's and squeezes it lightly before she drops it and turns to leave, she is only half way out of the room when the original hybrid catches her, he pins her to the far wall in Rebekah's room and yells at her, "What did you and your friends do to my sister?"
"Let her go Nik, she is not at fault she saved me" Rebekah manages to yell from whatever strength it is she has gained from the blood bags the hybrids just threw on her.
As Klaus squeezes her arms roughly, he could see her eye shut because of the pain he is sending through her and then he smells blood on her, he turns her left palm around and asks, "Did you try to kill yourself?" there was a cut, a deep cut that went from the middle of the palm to the inside of her wrist.
"No" she says
"Then what is this?" he asks and then he smells again, the blood not only from the slit wrist but from up above, in a swift motion he tears open her Henley at the shoulder and she screams, "Hey, your hands off me."
"You're bitten, who was it, the older Salvatore or the younger one."
"Stop it Nik, I bit her, I fed on her, it wasn't them"
He turns to his sister and then back at the doppelganger, "What happened to the two of you, tell me."
Rebekah was about to speak but Klaus turns to her and tells her, "Ah ah ah sister, I would like to hear it from the one who I can compel."
He turns to Elena and takes her vervain necklace off and then compels her, "Speak only the truth to me, tell me what happened to the two of you."
Like a robot Elena answers him, "I and Rebekah, we were fighting, Rebekah got mad and sped me to the outskirts of Mystic Falls, we continued our argument there until Rebekah heard some voices and tried to shut me up."
Flash back
"Sshhh" Rebekah says, "Do you hear that"
Elena was fuming, "I don't hear anything Rebekah, I just hear you and your noisy…" Words are cut off when Rebekah covers Elena's mouth with her palm and speeds them further behind a tree.
Rebekah whispers near Elena's ear "Sshh, Elena I can hear whispers, there are witches they're chanting". Elena and Rebekah are standing so close it's almost like they're hugging. Elena looks behind Rebekah and her eyes are widened but before she could say something the blonde receives a wooden arrow on her back and falls to the ground graying.
"We just want the original, you can leave" the man tells her.
There were witches, many of them, all of them were wearing white robes, Elena felt a shiver run down her spine seeing their number, she sees them dragging Rebekah to somewhere, they draw a circle around her and start chanting. They chant and the wood from her back comes out, she wakes up but whatever she is saying Elena cannot hear because she is distant but she can see, she sees them chant as the color leaves the blonde's body and soon she falls to the ground, crumbling succumbing to the pain.
The process goes on and on until Elena realizes that they're actually draining her strength. Elena was given the choice to leave but her morals question her, what kind of a woman she would be if she leaves Rebekah behind in something like this, her compassion overweighs her hate for the blonde and she finds herself determined to save her. She looks around for things that could help her save Rebekah from that number of witches, and then she recalls Bonnie telling her,
'A witches spell is like a recipe, one wrong ingredient and the dish would never be cooked'
And then she walks to where Rebekah is laid, the eyes of the witches are closed they're all linked, Elena reaches to the border of the circle, Rebekah's eyes are open and she looks at the brunette, she thinks she has come to mock her, but Elena takes out a small knife from her pocket and slits her wrist, her blood falls to the border of the circle and she moves her hand inside, Rebekah takes the brunette's arm and speeds them back to town.
When the witches feel the loss of their power source they open their eyes and find Rebekah missing, by that time, Rebekah has led them to her car.
"Elena" she heaves, "Drive me home, I can't drive, not in this condition."
Elena agrees, she takes the car keys from the blonde and drives her, as Rebekah was drained from her strength, her skin color was not normal, she was feeling hungry, she searches for blood bags in her car but unfortunately she didn't have any.
Elena looks at Rebekah from the side of her eye, she tries not to think of it but ultimately her compassion overweighs her ignorance and she tells her, "Rebekah, feed from me."
Rebekah looks at her, one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the gear, if she goes for her carotid, Elena could lose control while driving, if she bites on her arms or her shoulders, still the same result.
Rebekah undoes the top two buttons of Elena's Henley and Elena feels a bit un easy about it and then, pulling her Henley to the side she exposes the skin underneath her shoulders and this is where she bites Elena. She feeds on her until they reach her brother's house, to anyone looking from outside it would seem as two lovers making out in the car.
When Elena tells her, "Rebekah, we have reached your brother's house, you can go from here, right"
Rebekah pulls from her and buttons her up after wiping the blood from her skin but when Rebekah walks on the ground, she falls on the third step due to weakness, Elena comes by her side to help her before she hits the ground.
Flashback ends
"So you're telling me that an unknown set of witches did this to my sister?"
Elena nods.
"You can go now" Klaus tells her and just as she is leaving, she feels weak due to the blood loss and her eyes shut, she is freely falling on the ground until Klaus holds her from the waist, bites into his wrist and feeds her his blood to heal her. Her wounds close but because she is weak she has fainted, he knows she will take time to recover so he places her on his sister's bed.
After Rebekah has consumed enough blood and regained her strength she returns to her room, she sees Elena lying on her bed, she doesn't make her move, instead she lays down next to her, she switches off the light, "Good night Elena, sweet dreams." She sleeps next to her.
Next morning when Elena's friends learn that she is missing and somehow her friends turn up in Klaus' house to accuse him of abduction, he sends them flying to Rebekah's room where both girls were lying next to each other, Elena's arm wrapped around Rebekah's waist and Rebekah's on Elena.
Caroline says a bit too loud, "You had a sleepover with Rebekah rather than with us." Her voice is what wakes the two girls up and just by looking at the faces of her friends she knows she is going to be lectured for don't know how many hours, still she says, "It wasn't a sleepover Care, I just fainted."
"Well, looks much like it."
