A/N: Originally I wrote this in May. I completely forgot about it until my dad let me boot up my old G3 (we have since gotten a new computer) to get some files today, in late February of 2006. I was looking through my old files and discovered this… I didn't put it up on the Internet when I wrote it because I hated it. After rediscovering it, I reread and realized: Hey, this isn't too bad, much better than my other KP/Sonic crossover attempt! So, I copied to to a disc and onto my G5 to be uploaded. I hope you enjoy it!

PROLOUGE
February 2005. A man sits in a dark room; constructing a machine he thought would change the world. The Alterverse Project he called it. No one knew what it was, or what it was supposed to do. The man, whose name was classified, simply said that it could bend reality itself. Sure, he was teased for him beliefs in the project, but he would just tell himself, "People laughed at the inventor of the light bulb one day." And they did. Besides, his invention would change the world anyway, in a more… unlikely way, though. But until it did, he sat in his dark basement, spending hours and hours building Alterverse.
It was finished in April of that year, and it worked. But because of its appearance, a storekeeper bought it and put it up for sale, not knowing what it truly was. It was attractive and cheap, so it wasn't long before somebody purchased it.
And that is where our story begins.
CHAPTER ONE
Somewhere in the suburbs or Middleton, Kim Possible heard a knock on her door. It was still fairly early, and she was about to go to school. That better be Ron, she thought. He was supposed to be here twenty minutes ago! And, of course, it was.
He was standing at the door, trying to keep a "you can't touch me because I totally pwn you" look, failing miserably. It looked more like the effect of dipping donuts in hot sauce (which he did once, and he said it tasted like shoes) than being awesome. Typical Ron Stoppable.
"Need a ride, KP?"
Kim sighed. "I'm not going to risk another detention by riding on your scooter." His scooter was old and slow. Oh my goodness was it slow.
Ron finally let go of the odd look. "Actually, I got a new one!"
"And it's ten times better than your old one."
There was a moment of silence.
Ron struggled with an answer. "Well…. I know my other one was… good, but this is MORE than ten times better!" Even he knew it didn't seem like much of an improvement.
A small smile appeared on Kim's face. "Well… okay."
The scooter was actually good looking. It was red, with a black flames painted on. "Wow." Kim said. "That's impressive." And indeed it was.
"You should see how fast it goes!" He said, excited. "Hop on!"
So they got on his scooter. Ron had a bit of trouble starting it up (he always did), but eventually got it to work. And guess what? It went at least 60 miles per hour.
Then it went 70.
80.
90.
150?
Kim and Ron were about to fall off, but instead managed to crash through Middleton High and end up on the other side of the school, still going.
"Well, it goes faster, I'll give you that!" Kim screamed.
"WE'RE GOING TO DIE!" Ron cried.
All of a sudden, a black hole appeared. Weird as it sounds, there was a black hole right in the middle of the road.
"Oh great, a black hole!" Ron tried to contain himself.
They ran into it, going inside the black hole.
Pure darkness.
KER-PLUNK! Something landed somewhere on South Island. Sonic the Hedgehog was out on his kind of afternoon-morningish-brunchtime run, only his 6th of the day. The sound made him stop dead in his tracks, setting the grass behind him on fire. It was a loud noise, and it seemed to come out of nowhere. Curious, he traced the sound to near Emerald Coast and ran over. Once he was there, he started to inspect the beach. Nothing.
On the farer side of the coast, he heard somebody speak.
"Booyah! We're alive!"
