Ranboo had a memory problem. He forgot things after a short time, and it was really annoying.

So he thought it was time to keep a diary. Something to help him remember.

He had created the booklet himself with great care. The cover was leather, and on it was inscribed: 'Do not read'.

He took a pen and started writing.

November 19th.

I'm Ranboo. I'm half enderman and half something else. Some animal I can't remember. My skin is perfectly divided in two: on the right side it is all black, on the left side it is white. My hair also has this weird parting. And then there are my eyes. The left eye is bright red, the right one is green.

I honestly don't love my face very much. But this is not at all important. I didn't create this book to write about my hideous face. I created it to write things down before forgetting them.

Today in the forest I met this strange boy. He looks like a human, except that he has two large horns sticking out of his head. He has thick, brown hair, light green eyes and is a bit short. He was wearing beige shorts and a dark green shirt.

I don't know if I can say that I actually met him. We just made eye contact for a few seconds, we didn't talk or anything like that. But when he looked into my eyes he smiled, and waved at me. I really made a fool of myself by hiding behind that tree. I could go in front of him, give him a handshake and tell him my name. Maybe we would have become friends. But I didn't.

Maybe he was about to do it. Then we heard a scream, some kind of call, and he ran away.

Living in the forest, I don't know much about what's going on. I heard that there was a war a while ago, and that a nation was destroyed, but I'm not sure what exactly happened. For now I think everything is going peacefully ... I hope so ...

As Ranboo had guessed, everything was peaceful on the server. Tommy was still a little angry with Dream, but no one was in the mood to start another war.

Tommy and Tubbo were playing in the field of daisies, the one that led to the forest. They were forbidden from going into the forest by their father, Philza, as it was a dangerous place. In fact, Tubbo and Tommy sometimes did it in secret, ignoring their father's warnings.

They lay down on the grass and began to look up at the sky.

"I met a strange guy in the forest the other day." Tubbo whispered, turning his head so he could look at Tommy.

His brother looked at him.

"Really? Tell me everything." He said happily.

"His skin is split in two ... One half is black and the other is white. Then he has eyes of two different colors, red and green, both very bright. He was wearing some kind of black suit with a red tie ... He seemed a little ... Shy. He was hiding behind a tree. I waved at him, then heard noises coming from the village and ran home. " Tubbo said, giving an explanation that Tommy found unclear.

"So ... Half of his face is black, isn't it? " The boy asked.

Tubbo nodded.

"Like ... Like an enderman." Tommy whispered, confused.

"An enderman?" Tubbo exclaimed, surprised.

"Yes ... Endermans are black, have you ever seen them?" Tommy stood up, and held out his hand to his brother. Tubbo took his hand and Tommy dragged him to their house. Then they went up the stairs, and entered their room. Tommy started looking for something in one of the drawers of their huge bookcase.

"Here it is!" He exclaimed, holding up a book.

"That's that book dad bought us when we were kids!" Tubbo exclaimed, clapping his hands.

"Yes! Come on, sit down." They sat on Tommy's bed and started turning the pages.

"Here is the page where they talk about the Endermans ..." Tommy ran his pale fingers over the page, pointing to the drawing of the monster.

"You're right, they have black skin. But I doubt they really exist." Tubbo said, lying down.

"Why do you think Dad doesn't let us go to the forest, then?" Tommy said.

Well, it took me a long time to write this chapter but (modestly) I'd say it was worth it.

I just wanted to make it clear that I'm not following the Dream SMP "storyline". I've made some references to the war but I'm not going to talk about it, because I don't know much about it. So yeah, well, enjoy the story.

And know that I will probably lose motivation to write these chapters ... Follow me anyway.
