_CHAPTER 3_

I DON'T OWN FAIRY TAIL, I JUST ENJOY WRITING ABOUT IT

Juvia woke up early that day, it was the third day in Natsu's house and she felt more at home than she would give him credit for. She was still uncertain of her feelings for Gray but she intended to sort that out as quickly as possible in order to get to know Natsu better.
She really wanted to be his mate, she wanted to be his but for her to be his she had to forget about Gray first.

She watched Natsu as he was sleeping on the couch hugging a pillow, he nuzzled his nose in it and let out a cute little snore. She couldn't help but smile softly, it was still very early and she decided to lie on the couch, next to him.

Natsu hugged closer to his pillow, he found out that his pillow was much fluffier than before. He nuzzled his face in it enjoying the comfortable sensation but he soon realized that there was something off about that pillow.

He opened his eyes and blinked several times, Juvia was there and he was nuzzling his face in her breasts. Natsu istantly got red even though his inner dragon was greatly delighted by the sensation.

The water mage looked at him, she felt that something was wrong. She suddenly realized his throbbing erection pressing lightly on her tight and couldn't help but blush profusely.

In one swift movement, Natsu was sitting above her and blocking her wrists with one hand while the other was pressing down her hips.

Natsu looked at her in pure bliss, she could read the groceries list to him and he would have thought it was the most beautiful sound in the world.
"Y'know what's fun?" he asked softening his voice "We barely even interact before all this and now I feel that you gave me more in three days that anyone would have given me in a lifetime".
"Juvia's feeling the same thing, but-"
"I know, you want to know me better and you want to forget Gray. I may be dense but I'm not stupid Juves" he said.
"Juvia is trying her best" she said, her voice barely a whisper.

Natsu gulped, he had to do it. He knew he could make her forget about Gray in a heartbeat, it only took a kiss.
"Juvia, can I kiss you?" he asked.
"Natsu-san doesn't have to ask everytime" she said softly bringing her face upwards.
He lowered his head a little and pressed his lips on hers, he sat on the couch unlatching his hand from her wrists and took her by the waist making her body sit on his lap.

Juvia deepened the kiss much to Natsu's surprise, he couldn't suppress a delighted purr and he felt her smile on his lips.
"I think we should stop" he said through bated breath.
Juvia nodded her head and removed herself from his lap making him curse under his breath.

"You had a good idea there Juves" he said while they were strolling on the park.
"Fresh air is always a good idea" she agreed with a smile.
Natsu hold her close to his body and growled at every single guy who dared to look in her direction.
"Natsu-san stop doing that" she said.
"Can't control it, I think I'm starting to get possessive" he mused. He looked at her, an unimpressed look on her face "Don't look at me like that Juves, it will get worse after we're properly mated" he told her grinning widely.
Juvia smiled softly at him and nodded her head "Juvia knows".

The walked for some minutes before finding a bench where they could sit.
"Do you think it will work out?" he asked her. Juvia didn't have to ask, she knew he was talking about them being together and- honestly- she didn't know what to say.
She was about to answer when they saw Gray coming in their direction.

"What are you two doing here?" he asked.
Natsu stood up sheltering Juvia from Gray's view, he knew he was acting greedy but he couldn't help it. It was bad when other guys looked at her but he still managed not to dig their eyes out, with Gray was a totally different matter.

"Natsu-san" Juvia warned.
The Dragon Slayer growled under his breath looking at Gray directly in the eyes, the ice mage let out a deep breath and took a step back as to show him he wasn't going to be anywhere near Juvia.
Natsu got back to his sit.

"We were taking a walk" Juvia explained.
Gray nodded his head "It is a wonderful day" he said.
"It was before you came into picture" Natsu hissed, Juvia rolled her eyes and put her hand on his tight to reassure him.
Gray snorted but didn't say anything, he didn't want to get caught in the rage of a jelous Dragon Slayer. He wasn't this foolish.

"Anyway, how's it going between you two?" Gray asked.
"It's going great" Juvia replied with a soft smile on her face "Natsu-san is wonderful with Juvia and he is very patient".
"I am?" Natsu asked slightly surprised "I am" he added with pride in his voice. Juvia giggled at his antics and even Gray found himself smiling.

Juvia looked at Natsu, Gray was right there but she could only focus on her mate. She didn't know wether it was normal that it was happening so fast or if it was weird but she was starting to feel ready.

"Juvia!"
She was brought back to reality when she heard Natsu yell her name, she blinked several times.
"Where's Gray?" she asked.
"He left, you kept staring at me so he just gave up in trying to get your attention" he replied, a smug smile on his face.
"That seems to make Natsu-san happy" she said with a smirk on her face.
"I'm delighted" he purred in her ear. She shivered when she felt his brath tickle her skin.

Natsu was cooking dinner, he didn't want her to always cook for him so he told her to go and have a nice bath before dinner.
He was well aware of her presence as soon as she stepped out of the bathtube and went in the kitchen.

"I told you to relax" he said without even turning around.
"Juvia is relaxed, she wanted to help Natsu-san" she retorted.
Natsu looked at her over his shoulder and every word he had in mind suddenly chocked in his throat.

Juvia was standing behind him, her body wrapped tightly in a pink towel that hugged her curves so well he could actually guess what her body was like under that piece of fabric. Her hair was wet and fell nicely above her shoulders making her neck look longer.
He gulped and turned his attention back to the food trying helplessy to focus.

Natsu's eyes nearly popped out of his head as he turned around slowly placing both his hands on both of her hips distancing himself a little bit.
"What's the matter with you?" he asked suppressing a growl.

"Juvia wants to listen to what her body is saying. Juvia means it when she says there is a reason as to why she's your mate, apparently Juvia's body knows what to do so why should Juvia fight it? She was worried at first but then Juvia was ignoring Gray-san today and even if it's been only three days Juvia is starting to grow fond of Natsu-san" she explained.
Natsu looked at her, his mouth open in surprise "Are you saying-" she cut him off by kissing him.

He didn't knew how they got to his bedroom. They were on his bed and he was towering over her resting his hands on each side of her head kissing her ferouciously.
"Wait, wait! Why did you change your mind so suddenly?" he asked her.

Juvia blinked in confusion "What makes Natsu-san think that Juvia changed her mind all of a sudden? Juvia is thinking about it since day one".
"It's only been three days Juves" he kicked himself mentally.
He'd been waiting for that very moment and he was willing to throw it all out the window, he needed to be sure. Juvia smiled softly at his raising her hand and resting it on his cheek.
"Natsu-san showed Juvia more love in three days than anyone has ever shown her in a lifetime" she whispered, tears rolling down her face.

Natsu stared at her, he couldn't bare to see her cry. He lowered his head and wiped away some of her tears with his thumb.
He sustained his weight on his left forearm and kissed her forehead "Stop".
Juvia looked up at him and noticed how he was letting his eyes roam on her figure, he was really focused on the way her hair was scattered on the pillow.
"Natsu-san, how do you feel about Juvia?" she asked.
He blinked several times before speaking "Juves, I'm glad you're my mate. We are really similar in a lot of ways but most of all-" he cut himself off, not sure if he was allowed to say it.
He decided to go with it "I love you".

Juvia stared at him with wide eyes, she wasn't expecting that.
"I know, the thing is that- in some ways- I always knew it was you. I love you" he said softly "But you don't have to say it back just yet".
Juvia smiled and raised her body resting on her forearms, she kissed his lips lightly and slowly started to lay down while bringing Natsu with her.

Natsu was still fighting his inner dragon, he didn't want to rush things.

"What's wrong?" she asked. Natsu gulped.
"I-I don't know" he said softly "I guess I'm scared that you'll rethink things and leave me".
"Juvia is destined to be with Natsu-san, Juvia wouldn't leave him unless he asks Juvia to" she said. Natsu looked at her, she could see the love he mentioned before.

Juvia took his face in her hands and kissed him deeply "Stop fighitng your inner dragon Natsu-san, Juvia wants to be your mate" she whispered.
