Chapter 10: Shadow Zone

Nemesis

Starscream was on an elevated medical berth gasped for breath after the beat down that Megatron gave him last episode. He heard Megatron's heavy footsteps, and the laughter of the Trix coming up to him.

"Resting comfortably Star-scream? Despite the extent of your injuries, my medical staff assures me that you shall make a rapid recovery." Megatron said. "Hopefully every bit as rapid as your wraith is swift." He said and started coughing. "And how swiftly things change; to think but a short time ago, it was you who was standing here, while I was lying there, right after your failed attempt to terminate me." Megatron said and the Trix started laughing while floating above him. "But know this dear Starscream; our positions shall never again be reversed." Megatron said and walked out. Starscream took off the cables, and walked out of the med bay with the Trix floating along. When he walked out, he saw Knockout typing on a data-pad. Knockout turned around and tried to stop him. "Starscream, have you lost your senses?" Knockout asked, "Is that a trick question? I didn't think he had any" Stormy said and Knockout had to bite back a chuckle. "You haven't fully recuperated" he said. "I feel fine knockout, never better, you're a brilliant physician so get out of my way" Starscream said while pushing him back. Starscream walked away and Icy floated up to Knockout. "He's a bit touchy isn't he?" she asked sitting on his shoulder. "He's always been that way" Knockout said going into the med bay while the rest of the Trix followed.

Somewhere in the ship

Starscream dragged himself down a corridor and started talking to himself. "Dark Energon may have replenished your strength master, (goes to a small alcove in the wall) but how could you forget, that you never reclaimed your original shard" Starscream said with a smirk.

He flashes back to the space bridge explosion, and how he took the shard from Megatron's body.

"Once the blood of unicron flows through my veins, our positions shall be reversed." He said with a smirk.

(Cue title sequence) LOOK IT UP!

Base

Ratchet was standing infront of the computer while Sunstreaker was polishing his armor, while Sideswipe was fixing his sword, and while the others just tinkered around doing nothing. "I had hoped that my growing expertise on the subject would remain purely academic, but though fate, this is clearly a dark energon signature. And it's moving fast." Ratchet said. Bloom looked up from her homework and saw the look of concern on her dad's face. Which is a first because he always has his battle mask deployed. "Megatron" he said with an even tone. "Where'd he find more of the bad stuff?" Arcee asked walking In with bulkhead. They noticed that it was a rather tight fit with Iron hide's big cannons in the way, and everyone milling about. So Sunstreaker walked to a corner, and folded down into his Lamborghini form. The driver's door popped open and a blonde stepped out in a yellow leather jacket, black shirt, skinny jeans, and tennis shoes. His brother followed suit and he had the same things but his clothes were red. Jazz transformed into his Pontiac while Mirage transformed into his Ferrari Spider. They all walked up to the kids on the platform and some joined the kids in video games. "What's he gonna do with it? Recruit another army of the undead?" Bulkhead asked and Miko's head shot up from her sketch book. "Zombie-cons?" she asked and Bloom looked scared. "Someone knock her out, please?" she begged and Jazz shook his head. "We cannot rule out the possibility. Especially since Megatron seems to be headed to a familiar site." Optimus said.

In a random canyon

A certain f-22 Raptor is flying over the canyons and finally transformed into the SIC of the Decepticons, Starscream. He landed in the canyon and held the shard of Dark Energon.

He stood up and looked at a pile of rocks. "Ah, the grave site of the mighty sky-quake, so quick to reject my authority while you lived. (holds up a shard) but as the first of my reanimated warriors, you shall bow to my command." He said as he broke the shard in half and purple smoke emanated from the crystal. He threw one piece into the rocks, and held the other. The cracks in the rocks glowed purple and he stuck the other half of the shard in his spark chamber. His eyes once the deep red, was now a bright purple. "Yes, the power of Dark Energon, be mine" he said and his whole body was covered in purple smoke. While he growled the earth rumbled a little and he chuckled. "Symbiosis, I can feel it" he said and spider web cracks of dark energon were spread through the ground.

Base

Optimus grouped the bots together in the tight space provided, and Iron hide looked like he was about to shoot someone. Bloom giggled behind her camera and snapped discreet photos of the catastrophe waiting to happen. "Megatron has barely emerged from stasis and it seems he is already making up for lost time. Bulkhead, Bumble-bee, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Mirage, and Ratchet, prepare to roll out" Optimus said and everyone, including Ratchet was surprised. "Aw come on, you'll let him on a mission and you won't let me?" Bloom said thoroughly peeved. "Bloom, you have been experiencing nightmares of the last time you encountered Dark Energon. I believe you should stay out of this mission" Optimus said and she huffed. "But why me" Ratchet asked. "If we are dealing with Dark Energon, I may well require your expertise. Arcee..." "Bridge operator, got it" she said walking off. "Go get 'em Bulkhead, bring the hurt" Miko said from her seat on the couch and Bloom immediately picked up on it. "Something's not right here." Bloom said and put the small cyber-cube in her pocket and the rest of the Winx followed suit. "That's not like Miko to not wanna go" Jack said while sitting next to Raf. Miko was just coloring away at her sketch book. "She's definitely up to something" Raf said and Miko smiled, Arcee opened the ground bridge and the bots transformed.

As soon as they got through, Miko jumped up from her spot on the couch and darted to the ground bridge. Bloom groaned. "Making a break for it" Jack said and Raf joined in. Bloom flew up and over to the tunnel to block her. "Stop Miko" she said and Miko smiled. They all chased her and the winx saw her push Bloom to the ground and she darted up really fast. They went through the portal while Arcee was oblivious and so were the other bots. Elita was in her room, Chromia was cleaning her armor, Ironhide was in the firing range downstairs, and Jazz was playing his music in his room.

Jack grabbed Miko's arm and she groaned. "Not safe" Jack said pulling her back to the base. "I am not gonna miss my first zombie con show down" Miko said. "Trust me Miko, it's nothing to be too excited about" Bloom said and the Winx looked at her surprised.

She wrenched (HA!) her arm from his grip and darted through the vortex while dropping her phone. The teens ran after her and the vortex closed behind them.

Random canyon

The bots came out of the ground-bridge and transformed into their bi-pedal modes. Sunstreaker was rolling his shoulders while Mirage was holding one of his long swords. 9 little forms walked out and then the vortex closed behind them. The kids ran out and Miko went to a large pile of boulders. They all climbed up next to her and Bloom Gibbs smacked the back of her head. "That's not Megatron" Bulkhead said from the small group. Starscream was shouting at the burial spot of sky quake. "Rise Sky quake! RISE!" he shouted and the area was humming with negative energy. Bloom got this feeling of energy draining from her. "Let's see some fight of the Livin dead already!" Miko said and Bloom shook her head. "Miko, you are such a freak." Bloom said floating beside the teen while the rest of the Winx floated behind them. Jack and Raf crouched down by Miko and Jack glared at her. "Miko what were you thinking?" Jack asked. "She wasn't" Raf said with a smirk and Stella giggled. "Hey, I totally missed out last time, and Bloom went when I could have too, plus this is the perfect time to get some snaps." Miko said and Bloom sighed. "You think this is some kind of game? Miko, their lives are on the line every day, do you know why they sacrifice so much to protect you?" Bloom asked and Jack looked at her. "Because they care about you Miko, I can't believe you would let all that time be wasted when you get killed because you want to take pictures like its some sort of field trip. What are you gonna do when a Con steps on you, or you get blasted off of a cliff because you got too close. The bots try so hard to protect you and you don't even care!" Bloom yelled and then they saw Optimus approach the Seeker. Optimus put his face shield down and turned his right hand into his ion displacer. "Starscream" he said. "Autobots!" he said with his claws in a fist. "Stand down" Optimus said with his cannon charging. "You stand down" Starscream said and he fired a rocket at them. It exploded and Bloom was knocked off the boulder and floated back up. "That hurt" she said and the Winx saw her nod at them. "Ready to kick some Con aft?" she asked and Stella gasped. "Jeez Bloom, such a potty mouth" She said and Bloom rolled her eyes. They transformed into their robot modes and thanks to Tecna and Ratchet, they all were triple changers. They all had wings and wheels. "You cannot harm me while Dark Energon flows through my veins" he said and Bloom watched Optimus charge his cannon, fired, and it hit Screamer's right arm. When the smoke cleared, they saw his arm fall a few feet away from him. He looked at his stump and then at the Autobots. He ran to his arm, picked it up and hid behind a boulder. She heard Mirage say something. "We clipped his wing, he's grounded." And she smiled. "Perfect." Bloom said and the group looked at her. Optimus and the bots ran to the seeker while he was yelling at a glowing purple mass. "Come on, come on. Rise already!" and the bots ran to a large boulder. He activated his comm-link. "This is commander Star-scream, requesting emergency ground bridge to my coordinates." He said while the bots got closer. Ratchet turned around when Miko started shouting. "I can't believe you made me lose my phone!" she screamed and Jack scoffed. "Miko, it was your own fault for running into a dangerous situation!" Starlight yelled back at her and poor Raf was listening to this whole thing.

"Oh no" Bulk said. "I can't believe they followed us, what was Tecna thinking?" Sideswipe said and Optimus glared at his daughter, who was glaring at the teen.

"Base to Optimus, the kids are missing" Arcee said over her com-link. "We have a visual, send a ground-bridge immediately" Optimus said. They heard two vortexes open up and they all looked at it strangely. Star scream looked up and they saw the two open at the same time. "Two? You kids, into our ground bridge, now" Ratchet yelled and Starlight picked up Miko while Tecna picked up Jack and Stella picked up Raf, gently. Star scream ran through his ground bridge while starlight and the others ran through theirs. The two Vortexes started merging and Optimus started panicking. "Ratchet, what is happening?" he asked. "The dueling Ground bridge portals must be feeding back on each other." Ratchet said. Bulkhead started thinking about Miko. "Miko, we gotta get those kids out of there" and he tried to get in the portal, but it shot him back. The two portals exploded due to pressure, and the whole canyon was covered in dust.

Nemesis

Star scream fell through the ground bridge and the trooper looked at him strangely while the Trix were laughing their heads off. "What did you do? Pick a fight with the wrong Bot?" Icy asked holding a nail file. He looked up and noticed his arm was gone. "My arm" he said and then he saw the trooper. "Not a word about this, to anyone!" he said and walked off while the Trix flew along behind him snickering.

He got in the hallway, and pulled out the energon shard.

Canyon

The kids were on the ground while the Winx were lying in a heap off the side of the humans. "Get off Stella!" Musa complained groaning under the weight of Stella's armor. "I will once Tecna gets her wing out of my face!" Stella said and they all detangled themselves while the humans came around. "Hey guys, sound off if you're not dead" Starlight said and everyone moaned. "Perfect" she said and stood up. She then got a good look at her surroundings and paled. "Where are we?" she asked and Miko looked around.

"Ugh, wha-what just happened?" Bulkhead asked from behind them. "I got my armor ruined that's what" Sunstreaker complained while sideswipe shook his head. "It's just paint dude. Chill out!" Sides said and Sunny glared at him. The Winx's armor glowed and then they shrank. "No! This can't be happening!" Bloom complained and held her cube in her hand. The others did the same thing, and tucked them away for now. "Looks like were walking from here." Bloom said and Ratchet stood up. "I can't be certain, but if two ground bridges sent to the same coordinates crossed streams, the feedback could have triggered a system overload" Ratchet said and Miko ran up to him. "Could? Hello, more like totally did" she said. "The kids made it through right?" Bulkhead asked and Sunstreaker got this panicked look in his optics. "What do you mean by that? Stella made it through just fine" Sunstreaker said with a look of horror on his face. "What's he talking about, were right here" Stella said and Bloom looked at the others. "Tecna, is it possible for the feedback from the ground bridge to short out our suits?" Bloom asked. "It might be possible. It may have been hit with an electromagnetic surge. I need to analyze them at base when this is over." Tecna said. Miko got frustrated and walked up to Bulkhead. "Bulkhead, were right here" Miko said and Optimus activated his Comm-link. "Arcee, did the children make it safely back to base?" Optimus asked looking worried for his daughter.

"Negative, you don't see them?" Arcee asked while they heard crashing in the background. "Ironhide, stop throwing things, we'll find them." Arcee yelled and the Winx giggled. "No sign of them anywhere" Ratchet said looking around for his niece. "What! No sign! Okay seriously Bulk…" she started saying before Bulkhead moved forward and his foot passed right through Miko. "AAHHHH!" she screamed and Bloom caught her. "He passed right through you" Jack said.

"That is so freaky" Bloom said. "Were not alive, were ghosts!" Musa exclaimed and Layla held her shoulders and smacked her across the face. "Pull, yourself, together!" she yelled and Musa nodded. "I don't wanna be a ghost" Raf said holding onto Bloom's leg. "Wait, how can we still touch each other?" Jack asked holding onto Bloom's shoulder. Musa rubbed her face and glared at Layla. "You didn't have to hit me so hard" Musa said and walked to Bloom. They all saw the Bots walking away and they ran to keep up. "Man, we need to work out more" Bloom said wheezing. "Ratchet could the children have been transported onto the nemesis instead?" Optimus asked and Bloom rolled her eyes. "Not likely, if Star-scream didn't arrive at our base, the most likely explanation is a dislocation. They could have just been bridged to an unintended destination." Ratchet said and Bloom sighed. "Thankfully not this time." She said and Musa looked at her. "What do you mean this time?" she asked,

"I was 10 when Dad bridged me somewhere by myself for the first time. He was going to come after me as soon as I went through but the computer glitched and sent me to Ireland in the middle of its St. Patrick's Day festival. I was in a different place and there was people dancing and eating, that I didn't realize that he would be frantically searching for me. When Ratchet finally found me, I was covered head to toe in shamrocks and I was wearing a little green dress. Someone had given it to me as a prize when I won a game, and it came with tap shoes. I wish I could still wear the dress. But still have the necklaces in my room along with my tap shoes. That was the best day I had ever since I met the bots." Bloom said smiling while remembering her first authentic St. Patrick's Day. Then she heard Raf talking. "Another place, but in the same place" he mumbled and Tecna looked confused. "What do you mean?" Jack asked utterly confused. "Were probably in a different dimension, like some kind of alternate reality, a shadow zone" Raf said and Tecna nodded. "Nerd alert" Miko said and Bloom smacked her upside the head, Gibbs style. "Stop being rude" she said and Miko crossed her arms.

The Bots were busy with the empty tomb of Sky quake while Bloom was looking at her cube. She pressed the button and it made her armor appear. She looked at her hands and noticed she didn't grow. "Man, this sucks" she said and collapsed it again. "Our suits aren't gonna work, so we can just use our magic." Bloom said and they all transformed into their Winx forms.

They went over to the group of Bots and they were standing by the tomb. "Look, sky-quake's tomb is empty." Optimus said and Bloom shivered. "How did we miss Sky-quake rising and shining?" Bulkhead asked and Ratchet looked puzzled. "It would seem Star-scream got what he came for" he said and Optimus looked at him. "Another matter, for another time, right now our priority is locating the children. Arcee, bridge us back to base" Optimus said and Bloom smiled. "Don't worry guys, they'll bring us back" Bloom said and Miko rolled her eyes. Miko's eyes then widened when she saw a zombie sky-quake behind everyone. "ZOMBIE" Miko screamed and Sky-quake slowly made his way over to the group of bots about to go back to base.

"GUYS LOOK OUT!" Jack yelled. "IT'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!" "BULKHEAD!" Miko yelled and the Winx flew behind them. Sky-quake got to Bulkhead and when he was about to strike, it passed right through his chassis. "Whoa, wicked" Bloom said and Musa looked at her funny. "Awesome, it can't touch them either" Miko said and the Zombie con turned around. "If that thing can't touch the bots" Jack started, "Just like we can't" Miko continued, "And Then were trapped in the shadow zone with a Decepticon Zombie?" Raf asked, and Bloom smiled.

"Not this time" she said and started glowing. "Bloom, what's up?" Stella asked a little scared. "I'm not gonna mess up a chance to take down a decepticon, Zombie or not" Bloom said while she glowed.

"If were not ghosts now, we will be soon" Miko said and the look on Bloom's face said it all. "Not in this life time" she said and blasted a large beam of light at the con. Sky-quake staggered back, but he kept coming. The three kids without magic ran for their lives, while the Winx shot attack after attack at him. "We need to fly in order to get away from him." Bloom said and the rest of the group agreed. They flew away in their sparkling outfits, and Bloom huffed, "I wish I could have been the one to snuff out his spark. He really pissed me off" Bloom said while avoiding a rock that fell. Raf was falling behind the group and he tripped on his shoe. His glasses flew off and Jack ran back for him. "Come on Raf" he said while picking him up. "Jack my glasses" Raf said. (AN; Remind you of a certain Scooby Doo character?) Jack looked over to his glasses and saw Bloom swoop down and get them.

She flew straight to them and slipped his glasses back on his face. "Here ya go kid." Bloom said kneeling. She stood up and Raf smiled. "Thanks Bloom" he said and she stood infront of him. The con came closer, and Bloom floated there in the zombie's path glowing bright orange. "By the power of the great dragon's flame, and by the authority of Earth's guardian fairy, I say be gone Decepticon!" Bloom said and her body dissapered in a bright white light. She lifted her hand, and a beam of white energy shot out from it and almost disintegrated the con but his arm was left behind. "How did that happen?" Bloom asked floating there weakly. She floated to the ground and the Winx helped her up. The hand got up, and started darting towards the group. "How is it that the arm is faster than the con it was attached to?" Tecna asked confused, which is odd, because she's the smart one of the group.

Base

All the bots stood at the computer with Ratchet and Optimus was pacing. He stopped and stood beside his friend. "Ratchet, if the children were misdirected to an unintended location, is there any way to get a fix on their coordinates?" he asked. "If they were lost, Miko would have called me by now. Plus, we don't want a repeat of what happened with Bloom on St. Patrick's Day." Bulkhead said with a smile.

-Why don't we call them?- Bee suggested and Bulkhead nodded. "Call them, yes, good idea Bee." Bulk said. He pushed a button on his ear/audio receptor, and heard rock music come from somewhere. He looked around and saw a pink flip phone on the floor of the ground-bridge. He kneeled down to it and sighed. "So that's why Miko hasn't called" Bulkhead said picking it up. "Let me try Jack" Arcee suggested.

Canyon-shadow zone

The kids (without wings) tried catching their breath and Bloom was resting against a rock. Stella was looking pale and she was starting to sweat. "Stell, you ok?" Musa asked. "There's no sunlight. I need to recharge my magic. I get sick without sunlight because my powers feed off of a sun and a moon. Because it's a shadow zone, my magic is being drained by the negative energy." Stella said and Musa draped an arm around her shoulders. "Don't worry, we'll be out soon" Musa said and heard screaming come from Jack's pocket. "Is that you're...?" "PHONE!" they yelled. "Hello, Arcee" he asked and he could faintly hear Arcee on the other end. After the line went dead he sighed. "Ugh, nothing" he said. "Let me try my dad" Bloom said taking out her phone. She looked at her reception, and sighed. "No cell service" she said. "Gee, imagine that. The 4th dimension has lousy cell phone reception" Miko said with sarcasm. "The phone rang, were getting a signal." Jack said. "Maybe the bots can't see or hear us because we're moving at hyper speed or something." Raf suggested. "Maybe they can read us?" Tecna asked and started typing on a screen in midair. "I'm sending a message to Ratchet on his computer. It should go through, but I'm not entirely sure. You might want to send Miko a text in case it doesn't work Jack" she said with her helmet on and her hair sticking out of it. "Go for it Tec" Bloom said and she started flying again. Jack nodded and he started working on it. They heard the hand of the zombie con and they started to run/fly. "Can you do that while flying?" Bloom asked. "Of course" she said with her confident British tone, and then they ran for their lives.

Base

The bots gathered at the computer and Ratchet was explaining stuff. Bulkhead had this look of confusion on his face, as always.

"We're dealing with fluctuating energy profiles inside a wide distortion field. But, it may be possible to back trace their coordinates." Ratchet said while Miko's phone vibrated on the platform.

Canyon-Shadow Zone

The hand still chased them and the winx fired attack after attack at the large metal hand, and it came to no effect. "Déjà vu" Miko said and Jack looked at her. "What?" he asked. "This doesn't look familiar to you?" she asked.

"Not really. Kinda busy running for my life" he said. "Dude, we just ran one big circle!" she said and they ran into Star-scream's missing arm. They laid there for a sec and the Winx just snickered at them. "Sweet" Miko said standing up. "No it's not, I recognize that rocket anywhere. Its screamer's missing arm that Dad shot off. I say he got a good shot in." Bloom said looking at the place where it fell off. "It must have gotten trapped in here during the explosion too" Raf said. "Well if we can touch it, we can use it" Bloom said and the group turned it around.

Nemesis Med-bay

Star-scream lay on a medical berth and Knockout walked up to him. The Trix were floating on the other side of the room while talking in a circle.

"Uh, Starscream, I don't quite understand how this could have happened." Knockout said. "AND YET IT DID! Can you imagine my horror; there I am minding my own business when my arm just falls off! Clearly Megatron inflicted more damage upon me than you realized. Doctor" he growled. "Well, on the bright side, this presents the perfect opportunity for an upgrade. Let's see, you can go for the sonic cannon, reliable, low maintenance, although it lacks a certain flare. Personally I prefer the null ray, it has just the right amount of flare and firepower." Knockout said. "I DON'T WANT A NEW MODEL! I JUST WANT THE SAME ARM THAT I HAD BEFORE!" Starscream shouted while the Trix flinched. "But Starscream, your equipment is a bit, obsolete. I'm not sure I have another one lying around. Although we can try to salvage yours, you kept it, didn't you?" he asked. "It was, beyond recovery." Starscream said.

Canyon

The kids rolled the arm around and stopped at the other end "Anyone know how to fire this thing?" Miko asked. "It's his fingers. He makes a fist to trigger it" Bloom said floating next to her. "How did you know that?" Jack asked. "You pick up a lot when you're the daughter of Optimus Prime." She said and they rolled their eyes. The arm walked around the corner, and Bloom growled. "Alright, this fragger Is going down." Bloom said and she aimed it with the help of the Winx and the others. "One shot guys. Keep it steady" she said and when it came in range, Jack pulled the finger (hehe) and the rocket sped toward the arm. Luckily, it hit and Bloom narrowed her eyes. "It's not over yet" she said and Stella, who was weak as it was, just stared at her. "Are you kidding me? I knew I shouldn't have taken this mission. You're insane" Stella mumbled and Musa giggled. The kids ran, and the Winx flew after them.

It crawled on the walls and Bloom blew her bangs back. "Dang Cons" she mumbled.

Base

Miko's phone vibrated and Bulkhead stopped infront of it. "Miko's phone, It wasn't blinking before" Bulkhead said and pushed the top so it flipped open. "It's a message. "In an alternate dimension with Zombie, help" weird" he said and Arcee nodded. "That doesn't sound possible" she said. "Ratchet, can we triangulate the geographical position of the cell phone signal?" Optimus asked and the twins scratched their helms confused. "What did he just say?" Sunny asked and his twin shrugged. "IN A PARELLEL DEMINSIONAL PLANE, Let's find out." Ratchet said and started typing away. He found a message on the screen and cringed. It read: "Ratchet, you better get us out of this shadow zone quick, or I'll shove your wrenches where you won't be able to get it out" and it was from Bloom. "She's really mad" Ironhide said. "It gets worse than that" Bulkhead said rubbing his neck.

Nemesis (in space)

Starscream was lying on a medical berth with tubes in his chassis and a shard of dark energon in his servo. It started glowing and he woke up.

"My dark energon shard, pulsing. My warrior lives." He said and Knockout walked in with an arm in his servos. "Ah, look what I found in storage" he said and Starscream walked past him. "What are you doing?" he asked. "Your right Knockout, I am much too attached to my original appendage, I will retrieve it." He said and the trix floated their way while Icy had her hands out trying not to touch anything because of wet nails. "If I have to re-do my nails again, I'll freeze you both" she said and they rolled their eyes. "What-ever ice" Darcy said blowing on her nails while wearing pajama pants and a tank top.

Autobot base

Ratchet and the gang stood around the computer and he explained everything. "Now calculating for the relative time delays in the ionispheoric distortion, the signal originated as the exact location as the original ground bridge coordinates." Ratchet said. "But we already looked there" Bulkhead said and Chromia groaned. "Perhaps, but not in the correct dimensional faze as their message stated. But, if I can recreate the feedback loop that triggered the event, then I might be able to generate a rescue portal. Allowing passage from their dimension..." "Back to base" Bulkhead asked while interrupting. "NO, were talking about inter-dimensional travel here Bulkhead. Attempting to recreate the vortex trajectory would be too risky." Ratchet said. "Like everyone knows that Ratchet" Elita said with her hands on her hips. A glare from Optimus kept her from interrupting. "If the coordinates aren't precisely the same, who knows where the kids might wind up" Ratchet said and Optimus looked worried. He was scared for his daughter, and her friends.

Canyon

They stopped running and ended up back at Star-scream's arm. "Seriously, I hate this place" Bloom murmured and flew up above the canyon. "It's a huge loop, there's no outlet" Bloom said coming back down. "We could have figured that out by ourselves" Stella said while looking worn out. "You need to get some sunlight." Bloom said and Stella glared. "You're lucky I'm too weak to hurt you" Stella said and Tecna giggled.

"SKYQUAKE, YOU'RE MASTER SUMMONS YOU!" a voice shouts and Starscream appears. "Great." Bloom muttered and she huffed. "How'd that freak get into our dimension?" Miko asked. "He's not in our dimension" Bloom said and Miko glared at her. "Forget Starscream, we got bigger problems." Miko said and they all ran towards Starscream. "This is a first. Usually I run away from him." Bloom said and they all stopped when a ground-bridge opened. "A ground bridge portal" Raf asked. "That has to be our way out of here." "The bots must have seen my message" Bloom smiled and Starscream gasped. "What, mine or theirs?" Starscream asked and the kids hesitated. "If we go through, we smack into Starscream" Raf said. "If we don't" "Were zombie chow" Jack said. The zombie hand charged towards them and Bloom growled. "Follow my lead" Jack said and Bloom looked at him. "You serious right now?" she asked him and he smiled sheepishly. They waited, and waited until jack yelled "NOW!" they ran for it and Bloom flew infront of them and looped with a laugh. "I love these wings." She said and they ran underneath Star-screams legs. "Humans, Where did you vermin?" he asked before he was tackled by a dismembered hand. "Heh, that never gets old." Bloom said snapping a picture. "THIS ISN'T MINE" he said while struggling to keep it off his face. Another portal appeared and the kids stopped while Tecna was half dragging Stella. The bots walked through and Bloom sighed. "Children are you injured?" Optimus asked. "More or less" Tecna said and Ratchet picked Stella up. "AUTOBOTS, AGAIN!" he yelled and he yelled for a ground-bridge. The bots didn't acknowledge it and walked back through the ground-bridge with their charges in tow.

Base

Optimus stood next to Elita while they both had their hands on their hips. "Look, if your going to blame anyone, blame me." Miko said and Bloom smiled from Optimus' shoulder. "I'm sorry, could you repeat that, a couple thousand times?" Jack asked.

"Miko, what you endured has been lesson enough. We are just glad that you are all safe." Optimus said and looked at Bloom. "Don't expect me to get her out of any more trouble" she said and Elita smiled behind her battle mask. "No one asked you to butt in ya know" Miko said with her hands on her hips. "Don't make me pink streak" Bloom said lighting up her hand with fire. She backed up and Bloom put the fire out. Bulkhead kneeled and smiled. "Guess it was a good thing you dropped this. Too bad you didn't get any pictures." Bulkhead said. "It's okay, I'm pretty sure I have Zombie seared into my brain." Miko said. "You have a brain, never would have noticed" Bloom said filing her nails with a smile.

Nemesis

Knockout was welding Starscream and he got curious. "What happened, Megatron completely pound you into scrap metal again?" "I would rather not discuss it" he said embarrassed. "Honestly Starscream, you need to take better care of yourself. Didn't you retrieve your limb?" Knockout asked. The seeker groaned and the trix smiled. "That means no" Stormy said. "Don't you three have something better to do?" screamer asked and they rolled their eyes.

Somewhere in the canyons of the shadow realm, a zombie con is searching for his arm and when he finds screamer's lost arm, he tries to fit it but it doesn't fit his frame.
