_CHAPTER 4_

I DON'T OWN FAIRY TAIL, I JUST ENJOY WRITING ABOUT IT

Juvia was sitting outside the guild reading a book Levy had suggested her, it was a nice romantic novel about two soulmates finding eachother.
Juvia couldn't help but smile as it reminded her of her relationship with Natsu.

Speaking of Natsu, he was laying there next to her sound asleep.
Juvia could barely hear her thoughts as he snored loudly looking really comfortable with his head on her legs.

Juvia distractly caressed his hair and earned a content sigh from him followed by a delighted purr.
The light breeze was softly moving the leaves of the trees around them, the wonderful smell of Mirajane's cooking spread in the air making Juvia quite hungry.

"Natsu-sama, Juvia thinks you should wake up now" she said in a whisper.

The Dragon Slayer yawned while rubbing his eyes, he immediatly sheltered his face from the sun and inhaled deeply.
"Mmh, what a nice smell" he said.

Juvia couldn't agree more, than again Mirajane's cooking skills were well known in the guild.
"Juvia is getting quite hungry".

Natsu grinned at her jumping to his feet.
"No need to say more Juves, let's have lunch!"
Juvia rolled her eyes but couldn't help the smile on her face "You seriously can't think of anything else".

Natsu smirked while helping her get up "That's not completely true".
"Mh? What do you mean?" she asked really confused. Natsu's smirk became wider as he said "I usually think about you too".

Juvia couldn't help but blush profusely as she understood perfectly what he meant to say by that.
"You're so cute when you blush like that" Natsu said happily.
"It's Natsu-sama's fault! You always say something embarassing" she retorted.

Natsu took her in his arms and kissed her forehead "Sorry".

When he looked at her like that her world seemed to be crashing down in the most pleasing way. His eyes held all the love and care he felt towards her and Juvia couldn't be happier with her choice.

Natsu was staring intentely at her mark well exposed on her neck, he was so proud that she was displaying it with such ease.
Juvia tied her hair just to make it show as she felt really proud of it, the mark was the symbol of her love for Natsu and viceversa.

The pair walked inside the guild tavern to eat some lunch, they decided that after that they would try and look at the job offers.
"We should take a well paid job, the house is empty of food" Natsu mused.
Juvia couldn't agree more "Yes, Juvia thinks it should be an easy job though... Natsu-sama is still in the midst of the mating season".

Natsu seemed to think about that, as much as he wanted to go on a dangerous job he knew perfectly well that she was right.
His instincts were far too dominant for him to risk putting her in danger, now if he was to go alone it would have been different.

"I think you're right" he said.
"Juvia's always right" she responded while grinning at him.
"Little vixen".

The two were looking at job offers each one of them studying a different side of the job board.
"What about this one?" Juvia proposed.

It didn't seem like a difficult job, they had to help building some houses for the hmeless of Oak Town.
"Are you sure you're comfortable with that? If going back there is too much for ya I understand y'know".

Juvia looked at Natsu like he was saying some kind of nonsense, which in a way he was.
"Juvia is perfectly fine with being there" she said with confidence.

Natsu knew that Juvia had lived very bad experiences in Oak Town but- after all- it was her home, he got why she would want to go back there even if was just for a little while.
"Fine than, I'll go talk to Mira so we can go packing".

Natsu walked silently next to his mate, they were walking to their destination but he was utterly annoyed.
Juvia wasn't too happy herself but she had no right to say anything really.

"We're so glad you asked us to tag along" said Lucy in a cheerful tone.
Erza was trotting beside her with a huge set of suitcases "Yes! It was really kind of you".

Gray and Happy were just following silently as Wendy and Charle decided to do the same.
All of them could forsee the catastrophe happening just by the way Natsu turned around to face his friends.

"Y'know, it was supposed to be a two person job" Natsu said in a low growl.
That growl always had a certain pull on Juvia since the day they mated, she was very responsive of it.

"C'mon! Don't tell me you're pissed to have us here flamebrain" came Gray's sharp reply.

Natsu would have liked to say that it was all fine by him but it truly wasn't. He really wished to spend more time with his mate without any of their friends around.
Since their first time it had been two days and after that one there wasn't another, not because they didn't want to but because every single member of Fairy Tail seemed to join forces just to interrupt them and piss the couple off.

The Dragon Slayer was really feeling like exploding and Juvia wasn't reacting any better to be fair.
Sure, they could have just done it during night but they needed to sleep as well and after all the interruptions they were really tired most of the time.

"I swear to Kami that if you don't shut the fuck up I'll let Juvia drown you" Natsu hissed.
Erza shook her head in disapproval "Natsu, Gray! Stop fighting already!".
The two just fell silent not wanting to upset Titania even more.

"Juvia, how are you feeling? Aren't you excited to go back home?" Lucy asked as a manner to lighten the conversation.
Juvia turned around, her eyes devoided of any emotion. She gave all of Natsu's friends a look that made them shiver of fear.
"Juvia would be happier if she could have been alone with Natsu-sama".

Lucy fell silent again, she wasn't going to put herself in a dangerous position and a pissed Dragon Slayer followed by a pissed Juvia wasn't exactly a situation she lived in a relaxed way.
She didn't want to tag along originally but she did it for Erza, she was really worried about Natsu getting hurt by Juvia. She merely wanted to test their relationship.
Lucy had to accept, in part for that reason and in part because she needed some jewels to pay rent.

"I guess is fine as long as you don't annoy us" Natsu clarified.

Gray made a face that said it all, he really didn't wish to catch the two of them doing the nasty in their tent.
"We won't" he quickly said.
"Aye sir!"

The camp was all set, they decided not to book a room because neither of them had enough money to pay for it hence the job they choose.
Well, the job that was intended just for Juvia and Natsu who were still a little grumpy having their friends all around them.

"This place is really nice" said Wendy.
"It was Juvia's favourite place in Oak Town" the water mage explained.
Wendy looked around, the clearing Juvia had brought them too was utterly beautiful. It was a vast tract of green surrounded by trees and bushes, there was even a little river not too far from where they had decided to camp.

"Well, off to see the client" Erza said in a loud voice.
Natsu rolled his eyes "Why do I always find myself in this kind of situations? I mean, I only wanted to get laid" he thought.

It was a quiet stroll to where the client was waiting for them, Juvia could actually sense what Natsu was thinking.
The initial plan was to take the job to finally be alone but obviously their friends had to join in, she was actually as pissed as him even if she was slightly happy to be on a mission with team Natsu.

"So, this is the worksite..." Gray said looking around.
"Juvia remembers this place very well, it wasn't so nice before..." Juvia said.
Lucy smiled sweetly at her giving her a soft touch on the shoulder causing Natsu to growl in annoyance.
"It happens with girls too?" the celestial mage asked.

Natsu looked at her with wide eyes "It's actually the first time".
Wendy smirked, she couldn't wait to gossip about it with Charle "Maybe it's just that your bond is really strong".
Juvia blushed and tried to change the subject not wanting their business be at mercy of everyone.
"So, where is the client?" she asked.

Not long after that a man came into view, he seemed to be young around his early thirties.
"You must be from Fairy Tail" he approached.
The guys nodded their heads while Natsu hugged Juvia possesively against his body.

"Natsu-sama you should stop doing that" she whispered.
Wendy raised a brow smiling softly while listening to the client, clearly she was the only other member who could hear what Juvia was saying to Natsu.
"What? He was looking at you" he hissed.
"He was looking at everyone" she retorted with an amused grin on her beautiful face.
"Ok, sure. But I don't like it anyway".

The guys worked very hard all day to assure some houses to the homeless, it wasn't a difficult job but it sure was tiring.
While they were going back to their camping site the client apporached them.
"I'm sorry... Miss Lockser, can I talk to you for a moment?" he asked. Natsu looked at him like he was ready to punch him straight in the face but Juvia calmed him down with a soft smile.

"Sure but... Can my friend join us?" Juvia asked.
The man looked at Natsu very carefully, he seemed uneasy for some reason but decided to accept his presence either way.

The three of them walked together until they reached a bench near the lake not too far away from the worksite.
The man seemed uncomfortable and started staring at Natsu like he was some sort of intruder and for the matter he wanted to discuss with Juvia he actually was.

"What is it that you want to talk about?" Juvia asked casually.
"Err... Well, the fact is that I would like to take you out for dinner, you are quite a beautiful girl".
Natsu shot up of his seat immediatly, his hands on fire "Pardon?" he asked, his eyes fixated on the man.
Juvia- on the other hand- looked so doumbfounded and slightly disgusted, it was true that she was now of age but the man was still far too old for her to date him.

"Listen up, she's my girl and I happen to be a very dangerous guy to anger" Natsu growled.
Juvia stood up with her arms crossed "Plus, don't you think you are a bit too old to date Juvia?".
"That is what's bothering you Juves?" the girl nodded her head before offering him her hand "Let's go back to the others".
Natsu calmed down and watched the scared man who was now looking at him with wide eyes "I am not a bad person but I warn ya, if ya ever come close my girl again I will set your old ass on fire. Got it?".
The man nodded quickly before apologizing profusely to Juvia.

When they got back Lucy looked carefully at them, Natsu seemed to be livid with rage "What happened?" she asked.
"That creep asked Juvia out" Natsu hissed "Don't worry though, I already set things straight".
"You didn't hurt him, did you?" Erza asked slightly allarmed.
Natsu shook his head no "Juvia prevented me". Erza let out a breath of relief and nodded in Juvia's direction.
"What a creep, isn't he thirty or something?" Gray asked, disgust clear in his deep voice.
Juvia nodded "That's what Juvia thought, it was really weird".

It was weird, Juvia never experienced something like that before and what was even stranger was that he didn't actually know her.
He asked her out like it was perfectly normal and after having known her for half an hour, they hadn't speak and she hadn't be near him in any way.
The thought actually creeped her out but she decided to put it aside since Natsu was there to protect her.

"Well, don't worry. He is so scared he won't come anywhere near you" Natsu said proudly.
The other laughed lightheartedly at his antics but he was right, he shouldn't have done anything in fear of Natsu's rage.

The tent was calm during the night, Juvia was changing herself while Natsu looked hungrily at her naked body.
"Why are you putting on clothes?" Natsu asked.
Juvia rolled her eyes "Because it is chilly outside".
Natsu smirked pulling her down on his lap "I can warm you up if you'd like" he purred.

Juvia both loved and hated the effect he had on her, she was able to lose her mind next to him and when his voice became so deep and husky she couldn't quite focus on anyting else a part from Natsu and his incredible kisses.

She lowered her head to meet his forehead with hers and smiled sweetly at him.
"Now, I missed you really bad even if it was just two days" Natsu whispered.
"Juvia missed you too".

The two kissed, slowly at first but it wasn't long for their kiss to become more heated and urgent. While the seconds passed they grew more desperate to be together, they were drunk on their scents and they were ready to finally have some alone time.
Juvia let her hand slide down Natsu's chest to remove his shirt, he let her do her thing without complaining.
"It was fucking time" he htought recognizing immediatly his inner dragon taking over.

They were so focused on themselves hurriedly removing clothes and hungrily kissing that they didn't notice the voices outside their tent.
Suddenly it cracked open revealing the two of them totally naked rubbing against eachother like animals in heat, Juvia let out a little scream of embarassement covering her breasts with her arms.
Natsu was still, growling in frustration and pure rage. One thing was being interrupted at home when nobody could stumble on them doing it, another thing was that their friends had just seen Juvia naked.

"What the fuck?" Gray yelled covering his eyes.
Lucy and Wendy blushed profusely starting to apologize covering their faces with their hands, Happy and Charle just stood there with wide eyes and their mouths opened in shock, trauma settling in their minds.
Erza seemed weirdly calm, she simply stood there trying to hold back a nervous laugh.

"Can you leave?" Natsu insisted trying to remain as calm as possible.
"Sorry, can't do... There is a problem at the worksite" Gray said still covering his eyes.
"Just our luck" Juvia thought "We'll be out in a second" she said quickly.
"Yeah, well... Take your time" said Lucy with a little smirk on her red face.

The tent was now closed leaving the two of them some privacy to change.
"What am I supposed to do with this?" Natsu growled while pointing at his erection.
"You just have to wait 'til we come back here" Juvia said calmly.
Natsu shook his head no "How am I to focus with such a thing? It hurts, you know it hurts".
"Juvia knows but there isn't much we can do now... We came here to work in the first place" she explained while dressing.

Natsu was annoyed, he was so annoyed that he would beat the shit out of anyone in that precise moment.
While they were walking to their destination he just kept on growling and hissing like he was ready to put on a large fight, which he was.

When they arrived everything seemed normal though.
"I swear that if it is just a prank I am going to kill someone" Natsu said in a low guttural growl.
"Okay, now you are scaring me" Lucy retorted.
Happy shook his head no "I am sure that there is something off".
"Everything seems normal though" Erza stated while looking around.

The two exceed decided to fly and do a quick patrolling around the area to be sure everything was actually fine, Happy could sense something was off but he couldn't quite pin point what it was.
"I swear to Kami..." Natsu growled.
Gray rolled his eyes unable to keep his mouth shut "Listen flamebrain, you're here to work not to get laid".
"I know! I was planning on getting laid at home but none of you would leave us alone" he yelled slightly nervous.
"Natsu-sama, please calm down. This is not the time to discuss this kind of topic and I would appreciate if you'd stop talking about gettin laid since Juvia is your mate and not just some girl you can have sex with".
Gray snickered clearly amused by the situation, Natsu couldn't quite understand what was so funny to him but he was ready to wipe that stupid smile off his face.
"Sorry" he mumbled to Juvia who smiled softly in return.

"Well? Anything weird to report?" Erza asked.
Happy and Charle came down shrugging "Actually, everything seems normal" Charle replied.
"Than why calling us here so urgently?" Lucy asked.

Natsu tried to focus, he started smelling the air around them but nothing seemed weird or out of place to him. Even Wendy, who was way calmer than he was, couldn't detect anything out of the ordinary.
Juvia was deep in thought, that was her hometown and if something was different she should be able to notice it.

"So, we just go back to camp?" Gray asked raising his brow.
"Seems like it" Erza said shrugging.
"What a waste of time" Lucy hissed.

Juvia wasn't so sure, she and Happy shared the feeling that something wasn't quite right.
"Juvia feels weird though" she mused.
Natsu was immediatly by her side "Weird? How?".
"Juvia doesn't know exactly... It's just... Juvia feels like someone is watching us" she said in a whisper.

Natsu shook his head "If someone was actually watching us me and Wendy should be able to know it".
"Juvia knows that, it's just a sensation" she said calmly.
"Well, let's go back. Staying here won't solve anything" Lucy said.

The guys turned around just to find a man standing near a tree nearby, he was just standing there watching them.
"What the hell?" Natsu said looking directly at him. Juvia shivered, there was something off now she was sure.
"How could we not sense him?" asked Wendy, a frown on her face.
"Dunno, it's weird" Natsu mused.

The man kept on his stance, not moving by a millimiter.
"This creep is scaring me" Lucy said taking place behind Gray. The ice mage came forward looking straight at the man "Can we help you, sir?".
Suddenly, both Natsu and Wendy grimaced like something was giving them a great pain. When Wendy screamed at the top of her lungs the others were allarmed.
"What's happening?" Lucy asked. Erza took her sword in her hand and pointed it towards the creepy man "Stop whatever your doing right now!".
Juvia rushed beside her mate with Happy on her shoulder while Charle was immediatly by Wendy's side, the two Dragon Slayers were now laying on the floor grunting and panting like something was hurting them a great deal.

"What's going on here?" Happy asked.
Juvia raised her head looking at the man across the street, she didn't know who the hell he was but of one thing she was sure: he wouldn't hurt her mate without having his ass kicked.
"Water Slicer!" she yelled out of pure rage aiming directly at him...

I know, I know...
It is not a great chapter and I was absent far too long but I went through a little bit of a hard time... I also know that it is not fair to leave with such a cliffhanger but I didn't want to make the chapter too long.
I hope you enjoyed it even if it's not my best one!
