Starlight: oh really? (Charges her cannons) better run fleshie
Me: you can't do that, I own you! Plus, you're a prime; you're supposed to value all sentient beings!
Starlight: I don't care, this is fun!

Winx Prime Chapter 11: Operation Breakdown Part 1

It was an early morning at the base, and Bloom wandered out of her room half asleep with her bags for school, and walked into the main room yawning, "Morning." She said lazily, and walked up the stairs to the lounge. "Good morning Bloom" Sideswipe said with a smile. "What did you do Sides?" she asked immediately alert. "Nothing, I swear" he said with his hands up in defeat. "Shouldn't you be picking up some people for school?" she asked with a bite to her voice. "Yeah, I should. But I think I should stick around…." "SIDESWIPE" Ratchet yelled and Bloom glared at him. "What did you do?" she asked. "You'll see" he said and Ratchet came stomping into the room while painted hot pink instead of the red and white. "How did you do that?" she asked. "It's a secret my brother taught me. I'm sending this to all the kids and bots" Sides said and Ratchet stood there steaming. "Geez, I'm getting out of here before I get hit with a wrench" she said and walked down the stairs to her car. Once out of the tunnel, she got a call from Stella. She pushed the button on the dash, and smiled. "Yeah Stell?" she asked.
"Did Sideswipe go to the base last night? Sunny woke up and he was gone" she said. "Yeah he's at base, and he pranked Ratchet" Bloom said. "Really, I miss everything!" she exclaimed and Bloom giggled. "See ya at school Stell" Bloom said and cut the communication. She turned on the radio and played it really loud as she drove the long way around. She felt this weird power shift as she drove and stopped on the side of the road. She looked around and saw this smoke trail heading for the desert not far from her. She drove to the impact zone and stopped the car to see two men fighting and several others were standing off to the side shaking their heads. She got closer and heard what they were fighting about. "I knew we should have taken Timmy's advice and land in the forest. You just had to be Mr. Macho man and take over didn't you Riven!" the blonde yelled and the red head yelled back. "If the ship would have been in better shape Sky, then we wouldn't be in this mess" Riven shouted back and Bloom got annoyed. "Alright, this is stopping before the Decepticons get word of this" Bloom said and drove over in her car. She stopped a few meters away and shined the headlights in their faces. "HEY, quit arguing. You're going to attract some very un-wanted attention if this keeps going the way it is. So chill out and let me get a look at your ship" she said getting a wrench from her glove compartment. "Who are you?" Riven spat. "Name's Bloom, I live around here and I saw you guys crash" she said and Timmy, the red head, showed her where the problem was. "Oh, you guys got some serious rocks in here. Did you happen to hit that hill over there?" Bloom asked pointing to the hill of rocks with a hole in the top. "Yes" the blonde said glaring at Riven.
"That's a problem. That hill is chock full of people that will not hesitate to salvage your ship if you left it unattended. From what I can see, this ship isn't from Earth, or Cybertron for that matter" Bloom said crawling under the ship. "Where's Cybertron?" Timmy asked. "It's light-years away. All I have to do is get these rocks out and fix the engine. Then you'll be set." Bloom said and picked up her wrench. "Timmy, can you get in the trunk of my car, and get my tool box? It's silver with a dragon on it" she said handing him the keys. "Sure." Timmy said running to the Lambo that was casting light on the ship. He came back with a small tool box with a carved dragon on it, and opened it. "Hand me the socket wrench and some pliers" she said and he dug through the box. "It's pretty lucky that you ran by us. Where do you live?" he asked and she sighed. "Just outside of town, Where are you guys from, and why did you choose Jasper of all places to visit?" Bloom asked chucking a rather large rock out from the hole and away from the ship. "Were from a different dimension, a place called Magix" The blonde said. "You all have names or am I gonna have to keep calling you Blondie and dirt head" Bloom asked and they laughed. "I'm Sky; this is Brandon, Timmy, and Riven." Sky said and she nodded. "Nice to meet you" She said and finished patching up the engine while throwing rocks out. A few minutes later she was done and climbed out from under the ship. "Alright, fire it up" she said and the ship levitated while giving off a purring sound. "Wow, where'd you learn how to repair ship engines?" Timmy asked looking at it. "My uncle is a mechanic and I can take apart any engine and put it back together. So, were you guys headed?" she asked wiping off her hands. "Were supposed to be going to the school in town, I think it's called Jasper High" Brandon said. "I was just headed there myself. Why don't you boys follow me" she said slipping her sunglasses over her eyes while the sun came over the horizon. "Sure. Just let us get our bikes." Sky said and they walked into the ship. A few minutes later they rode out with matching motorcycles but with different colors. "Nice rides" Bloom said and Riven nodded. They all had Yamaha FZ-09's in different colors. Riven's bike was red and black, Sky's was blue and white, Timmy's was orange and blue, and Brandon's was blue and green. "Follow me boys." She said and started up her Lamborghini.
They all followed behind her like it was a convoy and all the kids stared while they parked at the school.
During school at an abandoned town
Bulkhead and Breakdown are smashing it up and throwing each other into buildings….or what's left of them.
"Bulkhead, imagine us running into each other in the middle of nowhere while tracking a stray Energon signal" Breakdown says. "Yeah Breakdown, it must be your lucky day" Bulkhead said and charged at him. They stopped in the middle with a grapple and struggled to get the upper hand on each other. "Where's your pet human, or even that cute blue and pink femme that I saw. How about when I'm done here, I pay them a little visit?" he asked and Bulkhead full on tackled him.
"So, the wrecker's got a soft-spot." Breakdown said and Bulkhead just missed smashing his head with his wrecking ball. Breakdown deployed his own hammer and clocked him real good on the head. Bulkhead looked like he was down for the count as Breakdown stood over him.
"As much as I'll miss our little reunions, hammer time" he said and just as he was about to strike, something hit him in the chassis, and fried his circuits enough so he couldn't move.
Green Blackhawk helicopters flew above the two wreckers, and Bulkhead passed out. When the choppers landed, who do you think comes out looking like Rambo ran over his face with a lawnmower, is Silas, the leader of MECH himself.
One goon walked up to silas and spoke. "Sir, we only have the resources to transport one" and he smiles. "Take the victor" he says and the MECH guys loaded him up.
TITLE SEQUENCE
Bulkhead just laid there until he opened his eyes to see a pair of blue optics belonging to a certain blue and pink femme in the family. "Jeez you look terrible. Did you lose a bet bulk?" Starlight asked. "No, just ran into Breakdown. You here to rescue me?" he asked. "We got worried when you didn't come back from patrol. Dad sent me out when I got home." Starlight said and helped him stand up. "Come on big and green, let's get you to Ratchet. He is not going to be happy." She said and he nodded.
Base
The minute they walked through the ground bridge, Ratchet pulled Bulkhead over to the Med-bay for evaluation after the smack down with Breakdown (hehe….play on words)
Optimus walked up and crossed his arms while watching Ratchet patch him up. "Engaging the enemy on your own was foolish Bulkhead." He said. "Breakdown jumped me. I knew I could take him…..ugh!" he said and glared at the doc. "Stay still" Ratchet said and Miko stood on the platform behind them. "But we should see the other guy right Bulk?" she asked and he looked confused. "Yeah…right….about that" he said and Miko looked even more confused. "You mean you didn't torch him?" she asked disappointed. "Not exactly, I figured you guys did." He said and Miko slumped. "When I came to, Breakdown was gone and Starlight was there to help me up" he said and Starlight was standing off to the side looking at the wires in her arm. "I remember hearing a copter, ugh….maybe it was Agent Fowler" Bulkhead said and Starlight smiled. "Not me, but I have an idea who" Fowler said and Starlight stood up straight. "It was MECH. This has their stink written all over this" she said making the metal creak in her hands under the pressure as she clenched her fists. "Now you don't know that for sure Star. Show me where this con-napping occurred." Fowler said and she rolled her optics. "Come on Fowler, who else would take a fully weaponized Cybertronian in a helicopter? It sure as heck wasn't a decepticon!" she said glaring at him. "We still need evidence to prove it." Fowler said and she walked off. "I'm guessing she's still a little ticked off since her encounter with Silas?" Sideswipe asked from the spot his holoform was sitting on the couch. "Ever since she found out, she's been itching to get her servos on Silas." Arcee said and Sunstreaker nodded from his spot next to his brother. "I understand her thinking. She wants to get revenge on the man who offlined her foster parents. I would do the same thing if I was her." Sunstreaker said and they heard a crashing. "She must be in the training room" Ironhide said and they all shook their heads.
"She has worse anger issues than you do Hide." Chromia said standing next to him while playing with her fingers. "And that's saying something" Layla said and everyone nodded in agreement. They heard another explosion and the base rocked a little. "Someone needs to go down there and calm her down." Stella said and they all looked at her. "What? You want me to do it! She'll kill me!" she said in fear. "Not if you're wearing your armor." Elita said pointedly. "But it's still being fixed after the shadow zone incident" Stella said and Tecna handed it to her. "It's been done for a while" she said and Stella glared at her. "Fine I'll go" she said and got into her suit.
Decepticon warship
Starscream approached Megatron in worry. "Lord Megatron, I fear breakdown has gone missing." He said. "The Autobots?" he asked. "Well according to surveillance provided by the astonishingly accurate Soundwave, Breakdown was abducted by humans." Starscream said and a snicker came from the trio of witches sitting on a computer panel. "That's kind of funny." Icy said sipping on her coffee.
"You're point Starscream?" Megatron asked. "My strongest recommendation, we assemble a rescue team to hunt the vermin responsible for this outrage." He said oh so dramatically. "Breakdown is on his own" Megatron said. "Uh, master?" he asked confused. "If breakdown allowed himself to be captured by those smaller than him, weaker than him, he deserves whatever fate awaits him" Megatron said.
"But breakdown is a key player in our…" Megatron cuts him off with a glare. "Your wisdom reigns supreme Lord Megatron. (Turns and walks away) For now" he said and left the room.
Outpost omega one
The computer beeped and Ratchet turned to the rest of the group. Star had calmed down after sparring with Ironhide, and was ready to fight. "This is where we picked up Bulkhead." Ratchet said while everyone stood around listening. "The Kamchatka peninsula. In eastern Russia. Much of it was abandoned 20 years ago when its volcano first erupted. My intel reported MECH activity there earlier today." Fowler said. "MECH? You mean those techie guys?" Miko asked. "The very ones who know of our existence on your planet." Ratchet said. "They must have tracked one of us there." Bulkhead said. "But what would they want with breakdown?" Miko asked. "What's It matter, they can have him" Arcee said and Elita elbowed her lightly. "She's right, one less con to deal with" Starlight said from her spot on the wall. "I still can't believe he was dragged off by humans" Bee said and Bulkhead laughed. "Yeah dragged off by humans, HA! Guess I softened him up for them." Bulkhead said and Miko rolled her eyes. "MM, yeah" she said and Optimus turned to Ratchet. "Ratchet, reactivate the ground bridge coordinates. We will rescue breakdown" Optimus said and Starlight gasped. "What!" her and Ratchet said at the same time. "Optimus, you can't be serious!" Arcee said and bee said. "Just leave him there!" "MECH can melt him down for all I care. Let the cons rescue their own" Bulkhead said and Starlight nodded. "It is unlikely that Megatron would bother with an errand of mercy." Optimus said and Starlight sighed. "Okay, but this is breakdown were talking about." Arcee said. "Sometimes, we must rise above ourselves for the greater good" he said and looked at Starlight. "Alright, I got the hint. No more vengeance plans" she said and Optimus nodded. "Aww, what's that supposed to mean! Breakdown's gonna be grateful and go all soft and join the cause?" Bulkhead asked. Starlight stood beside her dad and stole his thunder. "It may be unlikely that any con would choose the path of good rather than evil, but even they process the potential to change. Everyone has the potential to change." Starlight said and Optimus put a hand on her shoulder.
"Ugh! I knew where this was headed." Bulkhead said. "By "greater good", I meant humankind. MECH presents a clear and present danger." Optimus said. "Prime's right two-ton. We know MECH is obsessed with obtaining ground breaking technology" Fowler said. "Which means we cannot allow cybertronian biology to fall into their hands" Optimus said and Starlight agreed. "Exactly. Cause if that happened, we'd all be fragged" she said and the group stared at her with wide-optics. "What? It's your fault you let me train with Iron-hide over here" she said crossing her arms.
MECH base
Breakdown kept struggling against his restraints, while Silas watched. "Full disclosure, we intend to pull you apart. Break you down if you will. And when we utilize whatever we discover to develop a new generation of weaponry, (snaps his fingers and the machines hovered over him) I'm afraid you won't survive the process. So thank you in advance for your sacrifice. MECH is very much in your debt." Silas said. "You are making a very big mistake little man" Breakdown said. "When I'm finished with you, they'll have to scrape you off the floor!" Breakdown continued. "Since you evidently aren't squeamish, I'll let you watch." Silas said. "Are his pain receptors disabled?" he asked a lackey. "Good, than he won't make as much noise. Open him up" he said and the drill moved closer.
Base
Bulkhead was pouting in the base by the platform and Miko walked up to him. "Come on Bulk, you got to go with" Miko said, "I wouldn't mess with him Miko." Chromia said and she ignored her. "Don't want to" he said and Optimus walked up. "Bulkhead" "Optimus I'm sorry, but I just can't do it" bulkhead said and Optimus nodded.
"I support your choice." He said and the two wreckers stuttered. "W...what?" they asked. "Given your history with breakdown, you judgment may be clouded and thus jeopardize the mission. Besides, the Decepticon may be in more need of a medic than another warrior." Optimus said and looked at Ratchet. "Locked and loaded Optimus. Star should stay here. She still hates MECH" Ratchet said and Starlight looked at him like he kicked her.
"I take offense to that!" she said and Optimus nodded. "It would be best for you to stay behind." Optimus said. "I'm more help to you out there than in here. Were likely to blow the place up cause it's so crowded in here" she said and he sighed. "Alright, but do not go after Silas alone" he said and she nodded. "Autobots, Roll out!" he said and they drove through the bridge. The bridge closed and Bulkhead turned to Miko. "How about a creature double feature?" he asked and the twins cheered. "I'm in!" Fowler said and all the girls looked at him funny.
"What's a creature double feature?" Stella asked filing her nails. "It's two monster movies in a row." Miko said and Flora walked away nervously. "Count me out" she said and the others smiled. "Flora gets really bad nightmares when she sees a monster movie" Tecna said and the others agreed.
Battle sight
The bots rolled out of the bridge and Optimus scanned the area. "No signs of life, human or Cybertronian" he said and Starlight got ready to fight anyways. "Hey! I found tracks!" Bee said and they all looked at his discovery. "Good job Bee" Star said and he puffed up with pride. "Forget the track Bumblebee; I'm picking up a faint energon signal. 3 clicks north by northwest" Ratchet said and Bee deflated. "Don't worry bee, you did good" Star said patting his back. "But we shouldn't be getting a reading unless…." "His energon's been spilled" Ratchet finished for Arcee and Starlight felt nauseous.
Base
The TV was lit up with a lame monster movie and Miko wasn't even paying attention while the other bots were entranced. Fowler was snoring it up on the couch and the others just stared at him. Bulkhead looked over at Miko and smiled. "Dinolizard versus five headed ape; you're missing a smack down" he said and Miko sighed. "No, you're missing the smack down" she said and the femmes looked at her. "Which stinks cause Breakdown's your archenemy, not Optimus', and definitely not Starlight's." Miko said getting up. "Miko, you don't understand" Bulk said. "Breakdown and me go way back. You have no idea the things he's done. I am not rescuing him, not now, not ever" he said. "Duh; you don't have to bromance him bulk, you just need to beat him" she said excited. "Uh what?" he asked. "No rescue, no rematch" she said and he looked at the ground bridge. "Don't even think about it bub. I'm on bridge duty and Optimus made it clear he doesn't want you there" Iron hide said and all the bots stood next to him. "Come on Hide, just this once?" Chromia asked and he sighed. "I'm gonna get in so much trouble for this" he said and opened the ground bridge.
Battle sight
Bulkhead drove through the ground bridge and transformed. He landed with his fist on the ground to support his weight and he looked around. He spotted the tire tracks, and followed them around.
With Optimus and others
They walked around a building with guns drawn while Starlight and Bumble-bee scouted ahead. Ratchet walked out from behind a building and started scanning. "This way" he said and they hurried with him.
Arcee and Bee snuck up to the corner of a random building and saw this huge mansion. Starlight looked at it from her position and she smiled. "Nice place" she said and they continued forward. The others walked forward while the beeping started picking up the pace.
"Readings coming from right…..here" Ratchet said and the bots looked at the old mansion. Starlight looked down and saw a cybernetic eye sitting on a platform. "Breakdown's eye" Ratchet said and Starlight's frame shook. "Gross" she said and they all rolled their optics at her.
With bulkhead
He looked around the corner of the building and saw a green car drive past him. "M.E.C.H" he said and followed him on foot towards a tunnel. He transformed his right arm into a blaster and walked into the tunnel.
With Optimus and others
Ratchet hooked up the eye to the scanner and Starlight stepped away from him. "What are you doing?" Arcee asked. "The Optic receptors might have retained the final images seen." Ratchet said and a video popped up. "What ya know, weird science wins again" Arcee said and put her hands on her hips. They see a drill coming towards the camera and then it cuts off. They gasp and another video feed pops up. "Well, Well, Optimus Prime. A pleasure to set eyes on you again" Silas said. Starlight's servo plates creaked when she made a fist at the cocky tone in his voice. "He's converted the optics to a two-way feed." Ratchet said and Starlight crossed her arms over her chest to keep her from doing something stupid. "And you must be Silas." Optimus asked. "In the flesh, but being that our captive is not one of yours, I have to admit, I was expecting Megatron" Silas said. "In this circumstance, Autobots and Decepticons share a common foe." Optimus said and Starlight snorted. "M.E.C.H is anything but common. Our guest is yielding quite a bit of information about your biomechanics as you can see; Although Breakdown himself can't see so well anymore." Silas said and Starlight growled. "You sick fragger!" she yelled and Bee had to pull her back. "We don't fear you" Ratchet said and Silas grinned. "Oh, but you should. In fact I would strongly urge that you not stand your ground." Everyone turned their attention to a bomb below them. "It's a trap" Optimus said and Arcee butted in. "Would this be a "Roll out" kind of trap?" Arcee asked and Starlight sniggered. "Evacuate….NOW!" they all ran for cover by transforming and driving away until the shockwave picked them up, and tossed them. They all transformed to catch themselves and succeeded unlike Starlight. She flailed her arms and legs but ended up eating a face full of dirt. "Ugh" she moaned and everyone besides Optimus laughed at her, although he was trying to hide it.
"So, any idea on where they're keeping the rest of breakdown" Arcee asked and they looked at each other.
With M.E.C.H
They were trying to drill into Breakdown's armor to no avail until Silas made his appearance. "Enjoying the view? Ironically, you're would be rescuers may be in more pieces than you right now" Silas said. "Decepticons don't break that easy" Breakdown said. "Who said they were Decepticons?" Silas asked. "That doesn't make sense. Autobots wouldn't come to rescue me" Breakdown said. They all looked up when they heard metallic thumping in the distance. The goons pulled up a video feed of a group of more goons at a large metal door and the door moving from Bulkhead's wrecking ball. Eventually he broke through and the goons started shooting at him while yelling "Marco!" and barreled his way through. "You're supposed to say Polo" he said pounding the walls while the goons screamed.
Silas looked at the screen and smiled. "More grist for the mill" he said and walked off.
Bulkhead walked through the tunnel and spotted breakdown strapped to a metal table. He deactivated his cannon and smiled. "It must be your lucky day." Bulkhead said and broke the restraints on Breakdown. "What are you doing?" Breakdown asked. "Getting you out of here" bulkhead said and breakdown looked at him funny. "Yeah I know, I don't believe it either." Bulkhead said and pulled him up. "Can you walk?" he asked. "I…..I think so" Breakdown said as he closed his chest plates. An alarm sounded and they looked at each other.
"Can you run?" Bulk asked. "Never run when you can fight" Breakdown said as he activated his hammer. "Just keep that thing pointed away from me alright?" Bulk asked and they started running down the tunnel.
Goons started firing round after round at them and Bulkhead smiled. "Creature double feature coming at ya" Bulk said and they ran out the tunnel to only be hit by missiles and more bullets. Break down finally got tired of it and fired lasers off at a car and hit the tires to cause it to spin. "You have some sort of escape plan?" Breakdown asked. "Yep, but you're not gonna like it." Bulk said and reached for his comm. "Bulkhead to Optimus" he said and Breakdown looked at him. "Rendezvous to my coordinates, I'm in need of back up." Bulkhead said. Breakdown nodded at him and threw a car at a helicopter and it exploded on impact.
