My Best Friend

A/N: Hey everyone! I'm the K in KitsuneKMC, and I know I haven't written a story or anything at all but I'm TRYING! As you people should know, school is evil (at least that's what Christina says) and I had a whole bunch of projects and I was having a mid-life crisis…. Well, this here isn't a story, it's a poem about what Sasuke thinks about his friendship with Naruto.
Best Friend
He is there
Always at my side
He's got my back
He was my guide
He's my protection
And I am his
We've become best friends
Yes, that's what it is
Without him there
I'd be in solitude
I can't have him leave
Though the idea is crude
Someday he'd be gone
Alone I'd be
For he's my best friend
And my eyes to see
I'd be blind
As I have always been
Unless I keep him with me
The idea is a sin
My best friend
That's what he was always
To keep me company
And help me face the days
I've never told him
What he was to me
But he's my best friend
And I hope he always will be
Another A/N: I think this poem seemed like it had hints of shounen-ai but I didn't intend for it to be that way. Anyway…. This was originally supposed to be about the friendship of Kurama and Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho) but while I was writing this, I thought of Naruto and Sasuke.
