Percy did what the strange goo is telling and he feel the being annoyance for some strange reason but Percy didn't have time to dwell on it as he continued running towards the city.
Percy asked,'' Who are you and what are you ?" He wonders about the strange goo( he hears the creature growled) origins.
" Worried about that later Percy as we need to focus on finding somewhere to hide!"
Percy rushed past so many people on the sidewalk making them cry out in surprise but Percy kept running.
" Alley!"
The being took control of Percy's legs and made him take a sharp turn into the alley where a black Cadillac parked at.
Percy stopped to catch his breath and he looked up at the driver's side window for his reflection but he see something that made him jump in fright.
Staring back at him wasn't his face but the face of a monster made from black goo with eyes that have a jagged white outline and a mouth with razor-sharp teeth staring at him.
The scary face greeted," Percy Jackson." The face spoke in a deep voice with a hiss akin to a snake.
Percy's face darken hearing the name of his former mother Sally and he said," I refused to use that last name."
Percy is wondering how can his mother no … Sally be so stupid to fall for such lies coming from Nolan who is a simpering rat who can barely hold a sword to save his life along with being the biggest coward.
" You are right on how such an intelligent woman can fall for such lies Perseus ."
Percy asked,'' How do you my name and my former mother/ Matter a fact who are you and what are you ?"
The being was silent for a moment and Percy was about to speak but a black tendril appear on Percy's left forming a small version of the head of the creature from the mirror.
The creature," I am Venom and I am a symbiote or Klyntar." He sees Percy raise an eyebrow at the word.
Percy asked,'' Symbiote? Klyntar ?" Those words might as well be in another language as he doesn't know what those words mean and he hears the creature groans.
The creature growled,'' I'm an alien Percy!" He see Percy's jaw drop in shock and his eyes widened in horror.
Percy cried," Alien! An alien is in my body! It's going to eat my brain !" He felt the alien take control of his left arm and slap him across the face.
Venom growled," I am not going to eat your brains! There isn't much to eat from what I have seen." Venom sees Percy pause and chuckles as Percy gets red in the face from the alien's insult.
Percy cried," HEY! I am no wisdom spawn but I can be smart!" He tried to defend himself but the creature busted a gut or at least the equivalent of one.
Venom stated," Yeah a certain lighting god is faithful !" He made Percy burst out laughing as he know a certain lighting god can't keep in his pants.
Percy cried," Holy shit ! Haha Haha!" He clutches his ribs with tears rolling down his face.
Percy begin to chuckle and calm down as his mood gets a bit better as he said," You know what your not so bad V?"
Venom asked," V ?" The alien tilted its head at the nickname given to him by Percy.
Percy smiled," Yeah V. V which is shortened for Venom."He sees Venom in deep thoughts.
Venom stated,'' I love the name but now we need to find a place to stay.'' He reminds the former demigod.
Percy see an abandoned apartment in front of him or them ( this is going to be hard to get us to)Percy made his way to the abandoned apartment grabbed the door and yanked it causing the door to be sent flying.
As Percy walking in the alley several young male gang members come out of the shadow to surround Percy.
The leader spoke,'' You enter our alley brat so give all your things or else things will get " He narrowed his eyes down at Percy who didn't waver.
Percy stated," Leave me or else." He gives the Kill you death stare to the gang members as he is having a shitty day.
The leader and his gang stare at Percy for a minute then they all busted out laughing at Percy causing Percy to transform into Venom causing the gang to scream in terror.
Venom cried," NO MORE MISTER NICE GUY!" He grabbed one of the gang members then he chomped down on the head.
" He ate Kenny!"
" You bastard!"
The gangs pulled out their guns and they fired atVenom who laughs as the bullet tickled Venom causing venom to grab the car then he throws it at the gang members hitting grabbed one member and he bites down hard on the head before spitting it out.
Percy cried,'' Venom what are you doing!" He shouted mentally to the symbiote.
Venom stated," I am enjoying an all-you-can-eat buffet!" He grabbed two thugs and he chomps down on their heads one by one.
The gang leader shivers in fear of seeing his homie being eaten by that monster who turned it horrible eyes on him.
Venom growled," Next!" He sticks out his long tongue out of its mouth making the gang leader piss himself.
Percy pleaded," Venom don't eat him!" He pleaded with the symbiote who paused.
Venom moaned," Why not?" He is very hungry and he sees a nicely fresh brain in front of him.
Percy stated," We done enough ." He tried to reason with the alien from space.
Venom goes silent until he was hit by a bullet by the leader who shakingly holds his gun at out then Venom lunges at the leader.
Venom shouted,'' It's feeding time!" He brings down his fangs and he begins devouring the leader who let out a scream with Percy pleading to Venom to stop.
Percy cried," What the hell!" He couldnt but helplessly watch as Venom devours the gang leader.
Venom said," That was a delicious meal." He holds his stomach and he allows Percy to take control.
Percy looks around seeing the carcass of the gang members then he sees an opened window of somewhere making him jump in the air then he is stuck to walls.
Percy reverted back to his normal self and he entered through the window.
He sees the inside of the apartment has a couch, a kitchen, bathroom and he sees a bedroom. Percy sees a switch and he flicks it causing the light to shimmer on until it cuts off making the former hero sigh.
Percy sighed, "I have absolutely no problem with you sticking around, but if you do, we're gonna have some ground rules, all right? You cannot just go around eating anybody that you want to." He enters the apartment building and he takes in his new home with a serious expression.
"I cannot?"
Percy stated," No, you cannot. All right, we need to... We need to reiterate this. There are good people in this world, a lot of them. And there are bad people. You have to tell the difference. The deal is, you will only ever be allowed to touch, harm, hurt, possibly, very possibly, eat very, very bad people, but never, never, ever good people. All right?" He waits for Venom's answer.
"Fine. But how does one tell the difference?"
Percy said," Well, it's super simple. I mean, you just have to... You can intuit it, you can sense it. Sometimes you can even feel it." He spoke to the alien.
"Whatever you say. But can we get something to eat now? Otherwise, your liver, it's starting to look really, really good and juicy.
Percy paled in fear at the thought of his liver being turned into a snack.
Percy sees something in the corner of the apartment was a money safe making Percy rush over to the safe. Percy tried to force open the safe then Venom takes control as Percy's left arm turns into a black tendril then he whips it at the safe's lock then he yanks revealing wads of cash. Percy's jaw dropped seeing the crapload of cash.
A couple of minutes Percy is in the grocery store holding a shopping cart in his hand with some foods in the cart looking around as he sees the store is filled with people.
" Human food is delicious."
Percy thought," It depends." He speaks mentally as he doesn't want to talk out loud in front of people.
Percy grabbed some pizza puffs, egg rolls and he made his way to his cart but he bumped into some causing him along with the person.
Percy said," Oh sorry." He froze when he see the person he bumped into with a stunned expression.
The person he bumped into was a pale-skinned young Causican woman with raven black hair in twin pigtails two onyx eyes, wearing a necklace around her neck, a hoodie, jeans, and black Chuck Taylor's. She is holding some bread in her hand and she is looking back at Percy with a stunned expression.
The girl said," Percy Jackson?" She looked at Percy wh stiffened hearing his former last name.
Percy asked," Aliera Carstairs?" He looked at the newly named Aliera Carstairs with a stunned expression.
Aliera stated," You remember me? How are you ?" She looked at Percy with a friendly smile on her face.
Percy stated," I could be better ." He spoke in a beaten tone making Aliera frown in concern.
Aliera asked," Why? What happened?" " She looked at Percy in concern on her face.
Percy said," Sally kicked me out of the house and disowned me.''He sees Aliera gasp loudly with a hand covering her mouth.
Venom is looking at Aliera curiously as he sees notices the female human's shock was genuinely causing Venom to gain interest in her so he looks into Percy's mind.
Aliera asked," Why did your mom kick you out?" She couldn't believe someone as nice and loving as Sally would do a terrible thing to Percy.
Percy stated," Well it began with my sperm donor brought a new son around who begins to get all cozy around Sally and Paul at the point he has them wrapped around his finger." He spoke very bitterly.
Percy hated how his former mortal family listen to the words of Nolan who is a notorious liar which he learned now.
Meanwhile, Venom is looking through Percy's memories about the girl known as Aliera Carstairs who gained his interest.
Venom sees a memory of Percy and Aliera working together in the biology lab where they worked well as pairs, then he sees another memory of Percy saving her from being assaulted by Mat Sloan in the hallway and he sees Percy walking her home.
Venom growled," Interesting." He looked at the memories then he gained an idea as a smirk begins to form on his face.
Aliera asked," So let me get this straight Sally, Paul, and your sperm donor of a dad disowned you on the word of your half brother who is a liar ?" She looked at Percy with an incredulous look on her face.
Percy stated," Yes." He had a numb expression on his face recalling the event where he was betrayed.
Aliera stated," That fucked up! It just shows you can't trust some people." She looked so angry that those people who claimed to be Percy's family would betray him as a liar.
Percy stated,'' It seems my sperm donor's stupidity is contagious but who cares?" He shrugged his shoulders then he hears Aliera snickering.
Aliera snickered,' You are very sassy Percy. Have anyone ever told you that ?" She looked at Percy with a small grin.
Percy stated," Numerous times I guess but anyway I have to head back to the apartment I managed to stumble on." He begins to walk away with his stuff until Aliera grabbed his shoulder making him stop in his tracks.
Aliera asked,'' Hey Percy where is your new apartment ?" She looked at Percy with a curious but Percy see her face a bit of red on her face.
Note: Here is the new chapter and Venom / Percy found a new place to live. Percy will get used to not being a demigod and being a host to an alien. By the way, we meet a person from Percy's past in the form of Aliera Carstairs who came from a book called Foiled by Jane Yolen.
